Epilogue

Now that it is almost five in the afternoon, I remember that until recently things have happened that are certainly not every day and are within my standards.

And the reason is simple: there will always be the need on my part to get out of the boring everyday life that overwhelms me so much; longing for feelings that shake my peculiar being.

I am currently walking with my friend Guffy towards the Northeast tower as we had agreed.

I'm not sure exactly what will happen, but there will always be the anxious urge to indulge in paranoia related to an uncertain future.

Guffy: It looks like we're close to getting there and there's still ten minutes left.

Mikael: Certainly.

The weakened sun was leaving as the streetlights illuminated the area.

For a prison as repugnant and cannibalistic as it is told on the outside, the interior is very well maintained and I like the view.

They are clean and decent criminals...

But seeing it this way, those are still people like us, but with wills that go against the rules of other insecure people and full of supposed power and justice.

They may be criminals and psychopaths, but none of us, removing the mask of society, is completely good at all and the fact is undeniable.

Guffy: By the way, my brother, how was your life abroad?

Mikael: Why do you ask that suddenly?

Guffy: I never had the opportunity to do it and I have always wanted to know about Gran Lombardes.

Each individual experiences different things and so, just like their perspective, whether they will live a pleasant or unhappy life in a completely unknown place will depend.

If I talked about my life, I wouldn't know what to answer, but not many things may be good for others.

Could that be the reason for my problem?

I do not feel anything...

Mikael: Well, I guess, I lived like any boy my age.

Guffy: I am planning to travel and finish my university studies in Greater Lombardy.

Mikael: I wouldn't be surprised, since that is the goal of many of our age.

There are many things that could happen and you must have clear willpower; and by meeting those requirements, a promising future will not be impossible for you.

Mikael: I think the same.

After having reached the Northeast tower, we were in a plaza that was in front of it.

At the moment we were the only ones there, as the guards were leaving through the large metal door that was later sealed again.

Zero seven has several entrances that are the towers that define it.

Whenever the doors are opened they are guarded both inside and out, but when there is no one outside, they will always be guarded inside; Certainly from what I just saw, there were four armed guards inside when the guards entered.

There is no problem being here, from what I see, at any time, but there is a limit when being close to the facilities that connect with the outside: in this case the towers where the main doors are located.

At that moment I heard footsteps approaching.

Guffy: They're here.

When I first turned around I saw Piranha who was approaching accompanied by a fat man.

It seems that it was true about coming accompanied.

Piranha: I hope you do this quickly and tell me anything you know about Squirrel trafficking.

Without introductions and detours, he wants to get straight to the point.

Both Guffy and I look at each other for a moment but then he steps forward and begins to speak.

Guffy: I don't know how much you're expecting from us but I'll be very honest about it, my brother.

Guffy: We don't know anything about trafficking, they just paid us to move merchandise, that's all.

At the response, Piranha did not flinch and listened while analyzing what was happening.

His gaze was cold and with a few movements, he pulled out a gun from his waist and pointed it at Guffy's head.

The first thing we heard after that event was applause coming from the surrounding trees.

Carón: You really are easy to predict, my brother.

He said while applauding the mysterious man who was hiding in the trees.

Piranha: Are you the one who planned all this?

Carón: Since I arrived at this place, I predicted that you would look for those involved in the traffic incident, so I told everyone in advance what you just heard. All that to have you here.

In addition to him, two men came out from behind the trees where Carón was.

It seems that he planned from the beginning to outnumber him.

Piranha: I didn't think Squirrel wanted me dead.

Carón: That's not like that, I just want to get even for what you did to me a long time ago.

Piranha: Do you resent me for having denied you in my times of glory?

Carón: Shut up bastard!

Carón: We are going to play a game and no one is going to interrupt us.

Carón: We are going to hit each other and whoever manages to draw the most blood from the enemy's body will be the winner.

At the proposal, Piranha smiled and handed his weapon to the fat man who was with him.

Likewise, Carón hands his weapon to his men as they walk away.

Guffy: Let's move away a little.

He says as he takes several steps back.

Michael: I understand.

Both opponents took off their shirts and prepared to fight bare-knuckle.

A one-on-one meeting with witnesses to its outcome.

The tension was at its highest point and the bloodlust that both gave off, intimidating for the less capable.

It is difficult to deduce a good fighter by looking at the two of them, who have good physiques and brim with confidence in their abilities.

Piranha: Listen to me carefully, bastard, I hope you don't die so soon.

Carón: That's what the guy who died when he received two of my punches in the face said the same thing.

Carón: Do me a favor and not die so quickly.

Piranha takes a closed boxing stance with his left hand inviting him to enter combat.

As for Carón, his stance was more open like a boxing king.

Before the exchange of blows, the opponents analyzed each other's postures without even getting into action.

They are experienced fighters.

A long silence covered the place for a few minutes until they finally took the first step.

Both opponents approached at incredible speed, starting the fight.

The reaction time increased, and the adrenaline spread to the spectators.

The only thing seen at that moment, besides the unusual light coming from the sky, was confusion.
