Part I

It's a shame not to be able to enjoy a bathroom like this in my daily life.

We've been in this place for three days and I don't know what to think after everything that's happened.

What will my family think?

What happened after the prison incident?

Why is everything so quiet on the streets and in the news?

What is this strange and new sensation?

While I was thinking that and walking through the mansion, I came across a small one-room office that seemed to be an outside observer.

Sitting at the table while smoking a cigarette, was Piranha looking into the distance with a certain feeling of nostalgia.

Piranha: Do you want something?

I thought he had his guard down but I was wrong, naturally and in any circumstance, he is always alert for some presence.

Mikael: I was just walking around here and I stumbled upon this place.

Upon entering and approaching the table, the exterior scene was dazzling with the natural cold of the great full moon.

It reminds me of the music of a pianist whose sonata is a reflection of the same night.

Mikael: What do you plan to do?

Piranha: What are you talking about?

Mikael: Will you return to the streets and take your old position?

When asked, he did not respond so easily and thought a lot about what he would say.

Piranha: Is that something you should care about?

This guy is very honest with the way he expresses himself...

Mikael: If that wasn't the case, then I wouldn't take the time to come and sit next to you just to ask you.

Piranha: That information is not something a mere boy should know about.

Mikael: It's certainly true, but for a simple guy, it's not difficult to know that you don't have the necessary power bases or at least the initial capital to return to your connected life; Few or no one will so easily provide you with a stable source after having lost so much and defrauding large underworld companies; Your allies dispersed to safe and more powerful sides today, to return now with a low-category connect; Many already have solid structures, and with battle they will not allow their business to be affected by a retiree like you.

Mikael: In conclusion, becoming dependent again to survive could be the most prudent thing on your part, although it will be much more difficult thanks to the fame you carry with you.

Mikael: Isn't that like that Kyuto Gaelia?

Piranha: You idiot!

Piranha: Who do you think you are to talk to me like that?!

Mikael: A simple boy.

His threatening look was a premonition of wanting to get rid of the enemy in front of him, but as for me, I simply looked at him understanding more about his mental patterns.

This guy could serve as an Intuit.

Piranha: What do you want?

Mikael: May you return to your old position as a high-ranking candidate and become one.

Piranha: Are you kidding me?

Piranha: What crazy guy would think of that?

Mikael: It is difficult, so much so that it would be better to give up on the idea, but it is not impossible.

Piranha: Why are you so sure?

Mikael: Because many cards could be in play if you just looked at them properly.

It's all a matter of perspective and the ability to distinguish many potential things for each situation.

In the case of this one, street life is peaceful and peaceful times are lived; and that is when the chances of giving the biggest surprise attacks are greatest while those who eat without worries continue in the comfort of their dreams.

The dragon is absent, and the tiger is still asleep.

Reality must be seen as it is.

Piranha: What do you ask for if I return to my old power?

Mikael: I don't want money, or a good position, if I don't want to be in your company as a low-category connection without any special merit.

Piranha: What the fuck are you saying?

Piranha: It sounds like you're asking too little to be a simple offer of humility.

Mikael: Is that so?

Piranha: No matter how you look at it, there's something you're up to.

Mikael: I'm more simplistic than you think.

Piranha: Suppose you are on my side and ask to be in my business freely as someone who does not exist, what do you offer me so that you stay by my side?

Piranha: Only those I consider useful are the ones who walk by my side.

Mikael: Don't think that the prison incident and the Ardilla merchandise drop were mere coincidences.

Mikael: Everything was orchestrated by one person.

Kyuto's previously disdainful expression disappeared at those words.

Kyuto: How did you do it?

Mikael: I have my contacts and a strong sense of curiosity.

Kyuto: You're crazy no matter how you look at it: a whole risky plan just to break me out of prison and deal a fatal blow to a guy like Squirrel.

Kyuto: All that... Is it that possible?

Mikael: Maybe, although there were some setbacks.

Kyuto: How do you plan to proceed now?

Mikael: I already have some of the merchandise that was supposedly taken by the feds from Ardilla, and it is waiting to be picked up by me.

Mikael: Fifty percent heroin.

Mikael: In conclusion, this will be your capital and the initiation to your ancient power, the real question is directed to you, How do you plan to proceed?

He didn't respond instantly and was still a little puzzled, but then he looked at me while smiling slightly.

Kyuto: Don't think that by being on my side you will be very safe, or that I can always protect you if you trust me too much.

Kyuto: Sometimes I tend to be cold-blooded.

Mikael: I am aware of the risks.

I'm not looking at him because of how he has a reputation for being known, but as an individual and a common human being.

Mikael: I think that was enough talk, I'll go to the room.

With those words I got up from the table and left that place without continuing with the topic.

That should have been enough to understand the situation.

I'd better wait to see what he does next.

Once I got to the room and locked the door, I sat on the bed and took a phone out of my pocket.

I didn't take my phone with me when I went to work and even less when I left prison, so the reason is simple: it was already defined.

Since I am revitalizing my injuries, I go out for a jog in the morning and then come back to rest. During that period, it was only a matter of time until "That Man" located me and gave me a phone without being seen by third parties.

Since he has many contacts in many places, it would not be difficult to send me a way to contact him.

When I turned on the phone, in the contact list, the only number registered was his and I proceeded to call.

The waiting tone rang just twice and then it answered naturally.

...: Wonderful strategy, as I expected from you.

Mikael: Both luck and external help made it possible, of course.

....: I think you needed to give me more information about it, I didn't think it was in your plans to make a whole revolt at zero seven.

...: You were not the only one who came out, but many others too.

...: What do you have to say about that?

Mikael: I'm not sure, maybe it was part of the unexpected setbacks.

...: Be careful with what you do, you shouldn't do unnecessary things on a whim.

The one who says really unnecessary things is you...

I have my reasons.

...: Your part of the merchandise was left and guarded in the warehouses of the North, and just as you requested, the evidence was replaced and you are free from being sought as a fugitive.

The plan had to be made in one day, before my case was processed by the courts and I was officially declared a trafficker and accomplice.

Normally the paperwork and official presentation takes three days, so everything was planned by me and altered by him, who was the performer.

I planned the supposed police merchandise inspection from the beginning and delayed the work until the fourth week; I indicated the moment for the supposed discovery; I entered the prison and took Kyuto Gaelia out of there; I gave the first blow to Squirrel and I will deliver the merchandise that was being paid for with Kyuto's money to himself.

All of these were the necessary preparations to begin the first phase of testing.

But certainly, everything was possible thanks to this guy who is a crappy and corrupt federal agent that I have contact with.

The cost for having asked him for help to execute that plan was to give him fifty percent of the merchandise to leave evidence for the news, and keep a part to sell it again and earn extra money.

Mikael: I'll contact you later, Gael.

Gael: See you soon.

With that brief goodbye, the communication ended and I broke the disposable phone so as not to leave evidence.

Now is when the real storm begins.

But it was inevitable.

I think I'd better rest while watching the big moon light up the night sky.

The moon is so fearful...
