An untold Truth and A Real Win!

"H-how do you know that!?" Carol questioned Rajin, taken aback when she heard the name of the golden spear from his mouth.

A small smile appeared on Rajin's face as he stepped forward.

"Thanks to an old acquaintance of mine who loved to read about history, I learned more about the grand fight between humans and demons that occurred five hundred years ago.

When I visited his personal library, I found an old, half-torn book. What I discovered in that book was more than enough for the time I spent reading it."

Everyone in the arena was confused, staring at Rajin in curiosity.

"W-what did you find in that book!?" Carol asked, sweat covering her face. Rajin grinned at her.

"I found something that has never been told in society, a secret kept from us, normal people, by those of high status like you.

In that grand battle, after the demon king 'Ravana' used the Resurrection Array, the Devas granted humans the responsibility of protecting every life form on this planet in the future.

To fulfill this responsibility, they bestowed upon us, humans, the power of the Devas themselves, the ATSURAs.

This is the story told to all people around the planet to this day.

However, on that day, I learned that along with the nine heavenly weapons, humans were also granted five Mythical weapons.

The presence of those five Mythical weapons was completely different from that of the Atsuras.

Five families took responsibility for those Mythical weapons and kept them a secret from the outside world.

To this day, it has been kept a secret by those five families and the authorities...

And I see, one of those families was the Royal Family of Sweden, huh?"

Rajin's eyes twitched as he stared at Carol with a wide smirk. Carol was stunned, her feet frozen to the ground.

"That spear of yours... isn't it one of the five Mythical weapons, the Triaina?"

Everyone in the arena was shocked; they had never imagined that the spear in Carol's hand could be a weapon on the level of the Atsuras.

Shinju stared at Rajin in astonishment.

"Huh—how unfortunate that the person wielding this weapon isn't capable enough to unleash its real power.

Otherwise, I would have been turned into nothingness when I blocked the spear with my hand."

Rajin mocked Carol, smirking. She became furious, veins appearing on her forehead as she tightened her grip on the Triaina.

"I have to agree that everything you said is the truth.

Our family has held the responsibility of the Triaina for the last five centuries. But no one has ever been able to wield this Mythical weapon.

On their tenth birthday, the eldest child of the family had to attempt to wield the Triaina to see if they were capable.

But every time anyone tried to focus their magical power on the weapon, their mind and heart were torn in the moment. It was nothing but sending them to their death.

On my tenth birthday, I also had to wield the Triaina as the eldest child in my family. I was ready for my death.

But when I held the Triaina and focused my magical power on it, instead of pain, I felt a unique power surging inside me, unlike anything I had ever felt before.

I thought I had reached the heavens.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the Triaina glowing brightly; it was the first time in five centuries that something like that had happened.

After a wait of five centuries, someone was able to wield the Triaina, someone who could withstand the backlash of its power. And that person was none other than me.

So, you said one thing wrong: in the whole world, only I can wield the Triaina.

The Triaina itself chose me as its wielder, or my mind and heart would have been torn the moment I focused my magical power into it.

And today, I will prove that I am the only one capable of wielding the Triaina in my hands!"

Carol roared as she raised the Triaina. Suddenly, it began to glow brightly, clouds gathered, and the air blew swiftly.

"RAJIN! TODAY, YOU WILL SEE YOUR END!"

Carol charged toward Rajin.

This time, Rajin felt the immense pressure emanating from the spear, but he stood there, watching her dash toward him.

Everyone in the arena was confused and stunned; if Rajin didn't do anything, the spear would pierce straight through him.

Still, Rajin remained motionless.

Carol was now in front of him, swinging the spear toward his abdomen.

"RAJIN, THIS IS YOUR END!"

Carol roared as she thrust the spear toward Rajin's abdomen.

THUD!!!

Suddenly, Carol collapsed to the ground, unable to move her body.

(What's happening!? Why did I suddenly fall to the ground? Wait... Why is my vision getting blurry!? W-what is happening to me!?)

Everyone in the arena was stunned when Carol suddenly fell.

A smile appeared on Rajin's face as he moved toward her.

He sat beside Carol and caressed her hair. Carol slowly raised her face to look at him, confused.

"W-what have you done to me? W-why did I suddenly fall?"

Carol asked, on the verge of losing consciousness.

"Ohh! Her Highness still can't figure it out!?

I didn't do anything to you; your body couldn't withstand the backlash from using the Triaina for this long.

In the end, all your limbs were torn, and now you are here, unable to move.

Well, I guess I'm at my limit as well—"

Rajin was about to finish when he collapsed to the ground beside Carol, losing consciousness.

Everyone in the crowd was stunned. Tomoki appeared in the center of the arena, raising his hand.

"After such an intense battle, with Carol Johansson falling to the ground before Rajin, the winner of this team battle is the Fourth Division!!

Thus, the winner of the battle between the First Division and the Second Division is the Fourth Division!!!

They will now face the Second Division in the final round!!!

And with this, the second day of the Inter-Division battle comes to an end!"

Woah!!!!

The whole crowd cheered as Tomoki announced the results.

Some were happy, and some were sad, but this was one of the best battles they could have seen in their life.
