Sakura and Kazuki both collapsed without even landing a single scratch on Ishida since their spar began. Fatigue was quickly catching up to them.

"I can't… Are you even human?" Kazuki said, panting heavily as he dropped to the ground.

"Yeah, you're definitely not human. How can you dodge all those attacks and not even get tired?" Sakura added, breathless and frustrated.

Ishida didn't mind their comments. After all, even he didn't fully know what he was at this point—so their complaints felt normal to him.

"Let's end it here then..." Ishida said, turning away and walking toward the newly given house—or rather, a small mansion, considering how large it was. "We'll continue another time."

"Wait, wait..." Kazuki quickly jumped up despite his exhaustion. "What about making us your apprentices?"

Ishida turned around and looked at them.

"Well, I can definitely train with you both as peers. 'Apprentices' is too big of a word for me."

Kazuki and Sakura both stood up, their faces lighting up with excitement.

"I'll take that as a yes," Kazuki said eagerly.

Just then, Kazuki's Kasugai crow—assigned by the Demon Slayer Corps—flew in with a new mission. Surprisingly, it was for both Sakura and Kazuki.

"Looks like you both have a mission to complete. I'll see you later then," Ishida said, walking inside and leaving the two outside.

"Let's go, then. Asakusa is far from here," Sakura said.

"Wait… I've never been there. I heard it's really different from this place!" Kazuki replied, looking both confused and intrigued.

"I've been there a few times—though it was before I became a Demon Slayer," Sakura said, as the two strolled away from what was now known as the Moon Hashira Mansion.

It took Ishida a few hours to settle into his new residence, which was much bigger than the room he had been given earlier at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters.

As the name suggested, it was a complete mansion in itself.

After settling in, he cooked a meal for himself—something he hadn't done in a long time. After eating, he took a short nap to rest. Once he woke up, he headed out for his night patrol, assigned to him directly by the leader, Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

And from that day forward, his journey as a Hashira began—The Moon Hashira.
