Game starts 2

Mark face turned cold immediately i asked him truth or dare, he contemplated for a while then answered:

"Truth!"

Well , if he lies, there's no way i can know, not think much about it , i asked the question on my mind

"Why did you approach us?" I asked mark folding my arms, we were all silent waiting for his reply.

Mark smiled faintly, "your group seems like an easy target , I would feel less guilty if a bunch of strangers died for me to live" He replied , shaking his head , mark stood up from the couch, "The rule of this game is simple, say the truth , do the dare, or die , no matter where you go, the game will find you" Mark said

"Another rule is that, if two people choose truth, then the next person has to choose a dare" Mark added

Honestly , I am extremely confused at this point. What does he mean by us dying , if we don't do say the truth or do the dare.

Mark head for the door, not turning back he asked "Truth or dare?", Immediately those words left his mouth, the atmosphere in the room turned dark, " A little piece of advice before I go" mark said, "You must ask someone the question in twenty four hours , failure to do so will lead to the last person who answered the question death" Mark added then left the room, His figure melted into the darkness.

"Jeez , he freaked me out a bit there" Julian said, shaking his head.

"Ha-ha, I also thought what he said was real at first but I think he's playing a prank on us" Isaac said.

As they talk amongst themselves, I noticed something strange, Julie has not said a word since mark left, the aura she radiated also seems dark.

"Victor!, Truth or dare" Julie asked , a creepy smile found its way to her lips. Her voice was soft , but the weight it carried bore down on me.

'N—no something bad is about to happen'

"N—no don't" before I couldn't finish my words, victor answered "Truth" , Julie smiled and her eyes glowed red. "Tell me , what did you do , the night of October 29th 2021?" Julie asked.

Victor face stiffened as he heard the question, for a while he didn't respond , he eventually spoke "I—I didn't do anything, I was inside the room given to us by Isaac father" Victor stuttered , Julie smiled brightly and said "You told a lie, the punishment will take effect in few seconds" Julie said.

'Isn't that night the same night James sexually assaulted Anna?'

The smile on Julie face varnished , she looked around, her face frowning for a second or two, she seems confused.

"W—what happened?" Julie asked as if suddenly coming back to her senses.

"Julie are you okay?" Julian asked , his face filled with an expression i can refer to as worry.

"N—no everything went black after Mark asked us Truth or Dare" Julie responded, her body shook slightly, "Something is wrong with the game" Julie said shaking her head.

We looked at each other , I was confused a little, but I can guess that whatever happened few Seconds earlier was not the handwork of Julie.

'Then what punishment will be given to Victor?, is he going to die?'

"H—hey Julie calm down" Issac asked, "so you mean, the one who asked Victor a question now isn't you?"

Julie nodded frantically, "I really don't remember asking any question" Julie responded.

"Hey Vick, can—?!" Unable to finish his words Isaac paused because Victor already closed his eye on the sofa, as if asleep.

"Vick?" I called out to victor , but he didn't move a muscles. 'He must me tried!' I couldn't think of anything else , except that he's tired.

Julian moved closer to victor , placing a finger under his nose, Julian face paled, He then placed his ears against victors chest.

Julian froze for a second or two, my heart started to beat faster, 'no no, don't tell me he's dead'

"H—he i—is dead" Julian said , his eyes turned red as he started to cry. Julie ran to the corner of the sitting room and started to cry, she hugged her legs and rested her head on her kneels.

"I—i killed him" Julie said, "I— I caused his death" Julie said again.

'Oh God, what have we gotten ourself into?'

Cold sweats started to form on my face, my body started to shake and my heart started to beat widly.

"L—Lets get out of here" Issac said, I could see that he's trying his best to stay calm.

The lights in the room started to flicker off and on, The rain started to become heavy, The wind picked up , its like we are in the middle of a hurricane.

A figure walked out of the darkness, Her face white , She has no nose , and her mouth reached from ear to ear , A grey colored suit adorned her body, and her exposed skin was wrapped with white linen.

"W—what?" I yelled in fear, the figure disappeared almost immediately i saw it.

"Haaa, Julian screamed as he also saw the figure, julian jumped around the room and eventually ran upstairs.

"Julian!" I yelled and dashed after him, the last thing I wanted was to be in the room with that damned creature, The rain is also making things worse.

Soon i arrived in a corridor , i looked at the narrow path, "Julian?" I called out.

The air was thick with an eerie silence as I wandered through the old, abandoned mansion. Dust motes danced in the dim light filtering through cracked windows, casting elongated shadows along the decaying walls. My footsteps echoed softly, the only sound in this forgotten place.

I had heard stories about this mansion—tales of tragic deaths and restless spirits—but I never truly believed them until tonight. As I turned a corner, a chill swept through me, raising the hairs on the back of my neck. There, at the end of the hallway, stood a figure.

"Julian?"

A figure that shouldn't be there.

My heart thundered in my chest as I stared, paralyzed with fear. The apparition was faint, almost translucent, yet undeniably human in form. Its eyes, hollow and sorrowful, seemed to pierce through me, sending a wave of dread coursing through my veins.

I tried to scream, to run, but my voice caught in my throat, and my legs refused to move. The ghostly figure remained motionless, watching me with an intensity that made my breath hitch.

Time seemed to stretch, seconds feeling like hours as we stood locked in a silent, terrifying tableau. I could feel the weight of its presence, a palpable aura of sadness and longing that suffused the air around me.

Then, without warning, the figure began to drift towards me, its movements slow and deliberate. Panic seized me as I finally found my voice, a strangled cry escaping my lips. Adrenaline surged through me, and I stumbled backward, tripping over debris strewn across the floor.

I scrambled to my feet, tearing my gaze away from the advancing specter. Desperate, I sprinted down the hallway, my footsteps echoing loudly now, the sound of my own fear reverberating in my ears.

I burst through the door back into the living room, lungs burning, heart pounding, Gasping for breath, I glanced back at the stairs, half-expecting to see the ghostly figure at the top, watching me still.

But there was nothing. Only darkness and silence.

Shaking uncontrollably, I backed away, never taking my eyes off the stairs until I was safely down the winding path, far from its haunting presence.
