Past lives.

In the dark night, Han Xin stood cloaked in shadows, his eyes fixed on the building where Overseer Kira moved about. The windows glowed with a soft light, illuminating her figure. She seemed so relaxed, as if she had not a care in the world. It was as though the other territories hadn't been attacked and were in chaos.

They had anticipated the city to be under a strict security lockdown, yet the streets felt alive and normal, bustling with activity. It had been too easy for them to slip into the city, hence Han Xin was extremely vigilant.

The only reason he let Xiang Yu enter the Overseer's buidling alone was that he would watch over him from afar thus why he was on the roof. Even so, tension gnawed at him. His heart raced with each passing moment and he could barely breathe.

He might have been panicking but Mei and Lian were so chilled you would think they were enjoying a day at the beach.
