"What do you mean, Al? Who's the bastard?!" My father's voice boomed throughout the room. I could hear the loud bang when they closed the door. I let out a burdened sigh and facepalmed. This is really embarrassing.

Al seems to be contemplating what to say. He looked at me and then looked at my family. I just gestured for him to go outside. He looked at me like he was grateful for what I had done. Was he really that pressured in front of my family? He really is the opposite of A, his brother. But I can understand him. These people would intimidate me, too, if I weren't a part of this family.

"Why are you here anyway? How about the trial with the empress?" I looked at their disheartened faces. It's because I ignored their question and tried to change the topic. It was not very comfortable to talk about. I just know today about me crushing on that nonchalant boy. He's charming and mysterious, but I can't let my family know about that. They would not understand.
