A girl who was never cared for and loved by anyone, not even her family, until her 23rd year of existence in this world, a goddess-like woman came to her.

Lucas held my face with his warm hands so gently that it felt like he was having a glass that could break time. "You know that I love you, right? I would not risk your life just because I didn't join the war. You're all I have, Alexa." I broke out in tears. I know he was just being forced to join this war because the Reds threatened him with my life. 


I couldn't hold it back anymore. Lucas is going far away from me, and there is no assurance that he will be back safely. I hugged him tight and instantly felt his arms around me as I cried even harder. My heart was breaking into pieces when I thought of him not coming back alive.
