A girl who was never cared for and loved by anyone, not even her family, until her 23rd year of existence in this world, a goddess-like woman came to her.

"Who are you, Miss? Why do you know me?" the girl said. She eyed the woman warily.

The girl got goosebumps and felt scared at that moment. She has trust issues, but there is a feeling inside her that this offer will turn out great.

After the High Priest officially announced me as the High Priestess chosen by Goddess Adara, the people cheered, and all their voices were heard throughout the empire. White petals were thrown in the air and scattered throughout the grand temple. The people wore the greatest smile they ever had. Excitement was plastered on their faces. I waved at them and couldn't help but laugh at myself because I looked like I was in a beauty pageant. 


"Your Holiness, did you receive Goddess Adara's message?" 


I looked at one of the people in the crowd who asked me with excitement and anticipation. I gulped and looked at the High Priest for reassurance. He just smiled gently and nodded at me. 


I turned to the woman who asked me and smiled at her with my business smile, which I practiced a lot. Their eyes were sparkling when they anticipated my answer.
