18. Be Patient

"Thank you for accompanying Mommy so well when Mommy was sick," said Tiffany.

"You're welcome, Mommy also always accompanies me every day," Amelia replied.

Tiffany began to kiss Amelia's cheek affectionately, Tiffany was always touched by what Amelia had done so far. With confident steps, Stella continued to walk towards Mike who was just sitting in his chair. Arriving in front of Mike, Stella immediately sat on Mike's lap with a mischievous look.

"Get out of here!" Mike shooed Stella away without touching Stella's body at all.

Stella was confused by Mike's current treatment. "What's wrong with you, you forgot that I'm pregnant with your child!" Stella was annoyed and started jerking Mike around.

"What kind of nonsense is that!" Mike also jerked at Stella.

Mike started to push Stella off his lap, causing her to almost fall to the floor. However, Stella quickly balanced herself to avoid falling.

"Stella, please don't come to my office without me telling you to," Mike said in a loud voice and it echoed in the room, a workspace that had become a silent witness to the illicit relationship between Mike and Stella.

Stella threw a bag at Mike and it almost hit Mike's handsome face. However, Mike quickly scanned the bag.

"So, you're not admitting that I'm carrying your child?" Stella started to touch Mike's chin.

Mike brushed off Stella's hand. "Stop talking nonsense, I never got you pregnant!" Mike continued to deny Stella's pregnancy.

"Okay." Stella nodded her head. "Then, I'll reveal to the media that we're in a relationship and that we go to the apartment together." Stella started threatening Mike.

Mike clenched his hands into fists, now feeling threatened by Stella about the pregnancy.

"Don't be rash!" Mike snapped at Stella again. "Don't ruin your own career for your own pleasure," Mike said, trying to calm Stella's mood.

Mike didn't understand why Stella was threatening him like this, Stella herself had said that Stella's pregnancy was because of Steven as Stella's husband. So, why is Stella threatening Mike now? What exactly is Stella planning to do now? Does Stella want to be held accountable by Mike? But, that's impossible because Mike is already married to Tiffany.

"Maybe you're not discussing my career, but your wife's career," Stella said very upset.

Because Mike didn't want to fight with Stella, Mike preferred to tidy up his desk, because soon Mike had to go home early and Mike's work was also finished.

"Where are you going?" Stella asked Mike who was busy tidying up his desk.

"Going home, no more work," Mike replied casually.

Stella laughed and said. "You're going home early? Do you want to be judged as a good husband by Tiffany?" Stella began to insinuate that Mike usually came home late every day, but today Mike was very different.

"Whatever you say." Mike really didn't want to fight with Stella.

Mike picked up Stella's bag that had fallen on the floor and put it on the desk, now Mike picked up his briefcase and was ready to leave the office.

"Mike, you've changed," Stella said as she watched Mike leave the room.

"Everyone does change over time," Mike replied.

"Do you want to end our relationship?" Stella began to discuss their illicit relationship.

"What do you think?" Mike instead of answering Stella's question asked Stella a question as well.

Stella was getting annoyed with Mike's behavior at the moment, as if Mike didn't care about Stella anymore.

"I have to go home because my wife and son are waiting at home," Mike said as his body was suddenly hugged by Stella from behind.

This time Mike's back was to Stella's body, and Stella immediately hugged Mike's body from behind. Stella groped Mike's broad chest with her head resting on Mike's broad back, and Mike caught his breath so as not to get carried away, especially since Stella was a woman who was good at seducing Mike and knew Mike's weaknesses.

"I'm sorry if I threatened you about my pregnancy with Steven, I'm like this because I love you so much, Mike." Stella's voice began to change as if she was holding back tears.

Mike was still silent without responding to anything, Mike let Stella who had been hugging his burly body.

"Mike, I love you." Stella continued to talk about love to Mike who was currently silent and still.

Slowly Mike reached out to touch Stella's hand and removed it from his body, and Mike led Stella to stand in front of Mike and now the two of them were facing each other.

"Stella." Mike tried to touch Stella's cheek gently. "You have to be able to love Steven like a husband, after all Steven is your husband." I don't know what's going on in Mike's brain right now, but Mike seemed to be advising Stella not to keep chasing Mike.

Stella looked at Mike strangely, because it was unusual for Mike to say this to Stella.

"Mike, is Tiffany currently pregnant with your child again?" Stella suddenly discussed Tiffany.

"Not for now, maybe one day Tiffany will carry my child again," Mike said cheerfully when he said that, and Mike's face looked very happy.

Stella smacked Mike lightly on his chest.

"You're evil, you told me you wouldn't get Tiffany pregnant and carry your child again, you're such an asshole!" Stella started swearing at Mike, then tears started rolling down Stella's cheeks.

Mike took a tissue and wiped away Stella's tears.

"Stop, don't be like this, Stella." Mike seemed to be really tired of the forbidden relationship, a relationship that should not have been done by them.

Right now Stella really didn't understand why Mike had changed.

"I've been patient in this relationship with you, Mike." Stella continued to discuss the relationship with Mike.

"I have to go home, I can't keep talking about this," Mike said as if he no longer cared about their relationship, a relationship that shouldn't exist.

"I will always be patient and continue to be by your side," said Stella who did not want to end the forbidden relationship.

Patient? Stella has been patient all this time? It looks like Stella really has to look in the mirror in a super big glass, because so far the one who has been patient in life is Tiffany, Tiffany who has patiently faced Mike with Stella who has no conscience at all. However, Tiffany never took any action, because Tiffany knew that one day Mike would change for the better, although Tiffany did not know when it would happen. However, Tiffany believes and must continue to patiently live life, a life full of mystery and very sad makes Tiffany a stronger woman, strong in everything.

"Let's go home, I have to go home, I'll take you home." Mike is the type of man who is not afraid, what's more Stella is a woman who is deeply loved by Mike, so Mike invites Stella to go home together.

Stella didn't say anything, but her hand started to pick up the bag that was still on Mike's desk. Mike put his arm around Stella's shoulders and they started walking hand in hand, but once they were outside the room, Mike began to let go of the embrace and put his feet first.

'Tiffany must have done something to Mike,' Stella said to herself, and then her hands began to clench into fists in annoyance.

Stella was definitely upset with Mike for suddenly changing so drastically, and Stella didn't know what had happened to Mike.

'Before it's too late, I have to be a good husband to Tiffany,' Mike said in his heart.

Did Mike not tell Stella that Tiffany had been sick for the past few days and Mike had been taking care of Tiffany? No, Mike didn't tell Stella at all, and it seemed like Mike was already keeping his distance from Stella. Is Mike like this because Stella is pregnant with Steven's child? I don't know, maybe he is.

"Mike, before I go home, I want to stop by the apartment." Stella suddenly said that after they had gotten into Mike's luxury car.

"What are you doing there?" Mike looked confused at Stella.

"There's something I want to pick up."

"What? Can't you just buy it again? I'll get it." Mike didn't seem interested in coming to the Apartment.
