Chapter 42: He Has the Qualification

"Don't think we're out of people!" The middle-aged man's words were loud and resolute, yet to Yuhara, they sounded like the wails of a loser.

Previously, Yuhara had only speculated on how much the Mangekyō Sharingan suppressed ordinary Sharingan, but now he was certain. The suppression was unimaginable because whatever abilities they had, the Mangekyō possessed them in a stronger form, plus additional mysterious and powerful capabilities. Even without activation, it enhanced the state and strength of the Three Tomoe Sharingan. Essentially, the Mangekyō Sharingan and the regular Sharingan were worlds apart.

No wonder Itachi and Obito could so easily annihilate the vast Uchiha clan, even with the Root's covert assistance. However, Yuhara wouldn't let such a thing happen. Everything he did was to completely eliminate this possibility.

Raising his head slightly, Yuhara stared at the man in front of him and shook his head, "Well said, but can you achieve it?"

He planted his bamboo stick into the ground, and his chakra surged once more. "Strength isn't just talk. No matter how eloquent your words, if you can't even make me use my Mangekyō, it's meaningless. Frankly, with your level of power, you're thinking of a coup? Have you even considered seeking more allies? Let alone handling your image, setting clear goals, and uniting the clan. Without unity, how do you plan to rebel? Without goals, do you intend to fight the entire Konoha?

You think you're lions, but in my eyes, you're sheep. Konoha likely sees you the same way; otherwise, they wouldn't have targeted me. After days of arguing, you should realize Konoha is trying to provoke you into action. Because once you act, they'll have the excuse to eliminate us all!"

Taking a deep breath, Yuhara's Three Tomoe Sharingan began spinning faster. With this rotation, a suppressive and destructive power started spreading through the bamboo forest. "I've always said, being tough isn't wrong, but being too tough is foolish! Just like how the Uchiha who compromise too much will lead to extinction. Extreme toughness leads to destruction. You'll bring the clan to ruin. Also, you wanted to see my Mangekyō? Well, take a good look and feel its power!"

As he finished speaking, the tomoe in Yuhara's eyes connected into a pattern. The eerie design, along with the terrifying power, made the already creepy bamboo forest even more ominous. In an instant, a blue chakra began to emanate from Yuhara, forming skeletal ribs around him.

Seeing this, everyone present couldn't help but swallow hard. The elders, in particular, trembled visibly. "Susanoo..."

The sight of Yuhara's Mangekyō Sharingan excited the hardline elders. They had never seen Shisui's Mangekyō because he aligned with the clan's moderate faction and was mostly absent due to his duties in the ANBU. Thus, they had never witnessed its power.

Despite Yuhara's differing stance, even more radical than Shisui's in some ways, his attitude was justified. Not only had he unlocked the Mangekyō Sharingan, but he could also use Susanoo!

The elders had experienced the era when Madara Uchiha left and the chaotic period of the four Mangekyō battles. Even without unlocking the Mangekyō, they knew each Mangekyō Sharingan had unique abilities, and its ultimate power was Susanoo. Every Mangekyō user could theoretically awaken Susanoo, but not everyone did because it required exceptional mastery and caused significant strain on the eyes.

Yuhara's effortless display of Susanoo indicated his high proficiency with his Mangekyō. Watching the middle-aged man struggle against the initial form of Susanoo, the elder who had spoken before sighed and stepped forward to shield him.

"That's enough, Yuhara-kun. It's enough."

"Elder..."

The middle-aged man lowered his head in shame, unable to meet Yuhara's eyes. Facing the overwhelming pressure of Yuhara's Mangekyō, he realized the sheer terror of its power. Summoning the courage to face it once was more than enough for him.

"Alright, Jiya. If you're not a match, you're not a match, and Yuhara-kun isn't humiliating us," the elder said, shaking his head and stopping the middle-aged man from speaking. He then turned to Yuhara with a serious expression. "Yuhara-kun has the strength. He stands at a height we can't reach. He has the right to do whatever he wants. Everyone should leave now. You should all understand the vast gap between us."

Ignoring the others, the elder approached Yuhara and looked into his eyes. Yuhara frowned, seeing a mix of obsession and longing in the elder's gaze. Realizing his overstep, the elder quickly composed himself.

After a moment, he spoke softly, "Yuhara-kun, I think we can have a proper conversation."

"Oh?" Yuhara raised an eyebrow and smiled. "Don't you want to see more of my Mangekyō Sharingan?"

"No need. This is enough," the elder said, shaking his head. "You don't need to maintain this state, Yuhara-kun. It's not good for your eyes..."
