Disaster.
Upon hearing the word, most would think of natural calamities like earthquakes or tsunamis—and understandably so. But in the novel Song of Nightmares, the term held a completely different meaning.
In the original novel, there was a line that described it perfectly:
「 "Some may regress upon death, while others are sent to a new dimension to start anew. In the end, it all hinges on the roles they are assigned. But there are those burdened with the role of a calamity, and that becomes their inescapable fate. 」
Therefore, they are people who could not escape from their role as destoryers and become a possibility in the story.

"That's right. You've all had your moments of freedom, haven't you? It must feel good to live unbound, doesn't it?"
