[Prologue]
"Why are we here again?"
Keith never cared much for the places his father brought him.
"What? Don't you know the history of this place?"
His father opened his arms as if he were presenting his masterpiece.
"Do I want to know it? Or is it one of your boring fairy tales?" Keith asked.
"My boring fairy tales? I thought you liked my stories?"
"But your stories are always so unrealistic. Where do you even get those ideas?"
"It's nothing but the truth. You know I never lie."
"Whatever you say..."
Keith looked around.
"So where are we now? I can't see anything aside from lots of grass and a cliff."
His father smiled.
"Let's walk a bit."
Even though they were the only two people there, Keith could feel a very potent Aura covering the area. Nevertheless, he couldn't determine its source.
About 200 meters further, Keith looked in the distance.
"What's that over there?" he asked.
"That, my son, is a sword piercing a coat."
He was right. About 100 meters from the cliff, a katana reflecting the sunlight was piercing a white coat as it was stuck in the ground.
"Is that supposed to be your version of Excalibur?"
Keith put on a doubting face and looked his father in the eyes.
"What do you mean 'my version'? You think it put it there?"
"Of course you did! Who else would do something so random as to stab their coat with a sword and then ram it into the ground, but a guy who loves telling tales to his son?"
Just as the words left Keith's mouth, he immediately regretted saying them. His father smiled.
"Did I just hear you ask whose deed this is? Well, since you asked, I suppose I can tell you a story."
"Great..." Keith mumbled.
"It's not just any story." his father said.
"It's a story you won't believe."
