-3rd Person View-
-December 8th, 2013-
A lot has happened in the life of Isaac Tate Allen since we last saw him. Nobody needed him more than Thea Queen. Isaac had attended all of the Moira Queen trials and helped Thea cope with her mothers lies.
Once Thea was take care of, Isaac went back home and spent the night at Barry's house. The next morning, Isaac caught Barry trying to sneak out of the house with a suit case, trying to avoid waking him up.
-Isaac Allen's View-
"Where you going Barry?" Barry turned towards me. I was sitting on the couch, fully dressed like he was.
"Uhm, I was going to.." Barry struggled to find words and I smiled at him. Even since childhood it was difficult for him to lie to me.
"You're not going to Starling City without me Bartholomew." I stood up off the couch and grabbed my bag packed with clothes that I was hiding from him behind the couch.
"Woah, you're still like a kid, that place is dangerous you can't come with me."
"Really Barry? You're telling one of the best boxers in the country that he can't go somewhere dangerous? You can't even fight Barry. And you act as if I didn't get shot there and survive an earth quake." I said in amusement. I walked out of the door.
"Come on Barry, the train station isn't five minutes away." Barry sighed and followed me towards the train station. I would've taken my car there since that'd be way faster, but I wouldn't pass the opportunity to have a conversation with Martin Stein on the way back.
——
We got off of the train and found that it was raining. Barry put a book about the safety of the Particle Accelerator on his head to stop the rain, but I smacked his hand away.
I pulled an umbrella out of my bag and put it over us.
"Always be prepared for anything, Mr. Allen. Even the weather." I added with a smirk. I gave him the umbrella handle to let him lead the way, since we were running a bit late.
Since I've been to Starling City many more times than him, I showed him a few shortcuts so we could get there faster.
As we approached the crime scene, I had to stop just outside once I saw the people investigating it.
"What are you doing?" Barry asked.
"Barry, all of those people know me by name, face, and voice. That is Detective Lance, Oliver, and his accomplices. If they see me, it'll blow your whole cover." Barry nodded and walked in alone.
When Barry introduced himself, I saw all of their eyebrows raise at the last name.
"Allen? Like Isaac Allen?" Felicity asked. I saw Oliver's eyes peer around, but I could tell he would do that. Wherever I am, strange things happen, or more like strange people happen to appear in strange places where strange things happen!
"Yeah that's my brother, he's not here though, he's at home." Barry lied, kind of effectively. It was only effective enough for, well no one to believe it, but still.
Once Barry gave them his two cents on how this crime was committed, he left the crime scene.
"How'd it go?"
"Better than I expected Tate." He answered earnestly.
"Alright, well since now we know that I can't take much part in this, I'm going to go about my business." Barry nodded.
"Well, tomorrow I have to go. to Queen Consolidated, because Oliver's assistant told me that I'd have a bigger help in the case." Barry said.
"I'll probably be at the Queen Mansion and drop by Thea for a surprise." Barry nodded as we got a hotel to stay the night.
——
The next day I escorted him to Queen Consolidated just to make sure his safety was secure. Barry wouldn't shut up all night about how it was impossible for this crime to happen. He still hadn't exposed to me about why he originally came here, but he didn't have to.
I already remembered.
"Good luck." I told him.
"Back at you."
I then left him to go to Queen Manor, but when I got there, Thea was leaving the house with Roy. She's briefly described to me their relationship was nothing more than platonic, but I can't quite remember the entire events of this episode. So I don't know where she was going.
I sighed and decided not to pursue the route of a jealous boyfriend, because it could go south.
Not placing trust in a partner is how relationships end, so I'll confront her later. If she is doing what I think she isn't doing, I'll leave her, simple as that. I won't cry about it.
I decided to find other things to do in Starling City. I walked around and saw people signing up for a marathon.
"Sure, why not." I muttered.
——
I went back to the hotel room to clean up after winning the 5k. I proudly wore my medal after showering and dressing comfortably.
'I fucking love awards.' I thought in pride.
I then got a call from Barry, telling me that Oliver figured out that he wasn't really sent from the CCPD to work on this case and that he was coming to the hotel room.
Once Barry came inside, he instantly got a phone call.
"Hello? Mr. Queen what do-? What? Uhm sure." Suddenly while still on the phone, he looked at me with wide eyes and reverted.
"Yeah, I'll bring him too."
"Shit." I muttered. Of course Oliver knew I was here, why wouldn't he. He's the Arrow, he's gotta know everything. I didn't completely think he wouldn't find out, but I was wishfully thinking he wouldn't.
"Well Isaac, we have a party to attend in an hour. While I would love to attend fashionably late like usual, I'd rather be on time." He said with a smile.
"Oliver said he'd have someone come up here with two suits for us." I opened my mouth but he interrupted.
"Yes Isaac, your suit is white." Now I had no quarrels about going. I don't care that everytime I wear a white suit it gets ruined, I love the color white too much. Reminds me of the stars. What I kinda didn't want to do, was interact with Thea.
It's completely my fault that I don't ask about Roy more, so this following conversation would be needed.
(A/N: Don't care about the complaints, long lasting relationships and harems don't happen out of thin air. Chemistry = Harem, trust me.)
——
We arrived at the house via limousine, and wouldn't you know it. As soon as I opened the door, there goes Roy coming out.
"Oh hello Roy. What brings you here?" I questioned him with a stiff smile.
"Oh you know, just coming to support my friend's mom." I nodded my head and let his hand go. I sighed distastefully and walked inside.
I didn't have any real dislike towards Roy, it was simply my emotions in the moment. Well, I kinda don't like him actually. He's a bit too rageful for my taste.
"Come on Bar'." We walked inside the main room where the music was coming from. Standing there looking at the door way was Oliver and Felicity. Oliver whispered some things to Felicity before walking over to me.
Barry walked towards Felicity, leaving me with Oliver.
"My sister went upstairs." He said, patting me on the shoulder.
"Does she know I'm here?" I asked. He shook his head no.
"I'll be there." I responded, he nodded and left shortly after, perhaps for some vigilante activity.
I went upstairs towards Thea's room. I knocked in a specific pattern that I always used so she knows it's me.
I heard rapid footsteps and she opened the door quickly.
"Oh my God, Tate? What are you doing here?" She asked in confusion, bringing me into a hug. I hugged back with a half smile.
"Well, you know I was in town, so I came to see you today."
She noticed my tone was off, so she stepped closer to me and put her hand on my cheek.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
I gently brushed past her and into her room, not looking for much affection right now.
"I'd rather talk about this inside." She closed the door behind her and we both sat down on her bed next to each other.
"What's the matter?" She asked again.
"You know I saw Roy here? I just found that weird because you told me that you guys were just friends and you don't talk to each other a lot. You said you were just coworkers.
So I noticed the lack of people inside and I thought that it was strange that he was the only one of your coworkers to be here." I cut around the bush, slowly making my way to what I was trying to insinuate.
Thea scoffed at my answer and looked at me in disbelief.
"You think I'm cheating on you with Roy? Are you kidding me?" I really didn't think that, I just wanted to know what was going on. I altered the timeline a lot, because her and Roy were supposed to be together.
Since they don't have any romantic moments, what was bringing the two closer together like this? Of course, I couldn't tell her the real reason, so I gave her a fabricated truth.
"No Thea, I know you better than a lot of people. I know you wouldn't do that. I'm just trying to figure out why he's around so much when you two are just friends?"
"Huh, I'm not supposed to say anything, you're lucky I love you." She sighed and gave me a kiss.
"Roy is basically obsessing over the vigilante because he saved his life, and since the vigilante has saved my life more times than anyone else, he thinks that I would be of help in finding him." She explained.
'So it's the exact same as the original, except they're aren't dating? Even with my intervention, the universe somehow has them connected. Hah, the universe works in mysterious ways.'
"So that's it?" I asked.
"Yes, Tate. There's nothing else you need to worry about. I've got my eyes on you only." She said with a mischievous smile and a sultry voice. Knowing what that meant, I left my worries behind me and allowed her to initiate the intimacy.
"Are you sure this is what you want to do? At your mom's party while there's a bunch of people downstairs?" I asked, as she began taking my shirt off.
"I've waited long enough Isaac, I want nothing more."
'Thank you Barry!'
