Chapter 6: Lethal Love

As I had expected, my house was completely demolished, pc and all so I had little to pack with me if anything, deciding that I needed the rest more than I needed to rummage through the rubble I opted to get a room first, sleep, buy a round at the red light district before treasure hunting in the rubble of my former dwelling.

By the time I had found a motel that was both cheap enough that I could afford it and not shitty enough that I would get scammed or robbed it was dark outside.

As my feet carried me toward the cheap motel indicated on my phone's map I suddenly received a notification from my system which was rather unusual. My eyes quickly took in the text in me as my eyes widened.

At the same time, the moment I finished reading the prompt I suddenly felt a sharp ping in the back of my head.

I instantly and instinctually knew what it was.

'Danger Sense!?'

Danger Sense was the power I chose to have in my active spot in day-to-day life since it worked passively and it didn't hurt to have it on in case my bad luck made it so that a stray balcony fell on me.

'Move!!!'

Leaning to the side and spinning on my heel I was narrowly able to dodge a knife thrown at my spine, in the corner of my vision I could see someone else at the other end of the alleyway.

A fair-skinned pretty girl wearing a sailor's outfit holding a knife in each hand. She had catlike yellow eyes and a wide mouth with fangs making her look like a vampire. She had pale ash-blonde hair tied into two messy bungs.

But what stood out to me the most was not her appearance but the expression of Bloodlust and... uh... lust she held.

Giving me barely a single moment to catch her appearance she charged at me again.

'Fast!'

She was incredibly fast and agile, even more than me using Polar Channel Flow. And I could tell from her stance and movement that while inexperienced she was not half bad as she braced her knife lunging at me while I held steady.

'Polar Channel Flow - Celluar Overdrive'

All my senses expanded and my cells were cranked up to a thousand percent allowing me to narrowly sidestep her stab and send a jab to her face, but she seemed to have excellent awareness as the moment her lunge failed she turned on her heel to face where I sidestepped, reversing her grip to this time aim for my kidney as she brought her knife down while twisting her body like an eel.

/Bam!/

"Ghak!"

Knowing I couldn't dodge it I used my enhanced reflexes to instead intercept the knife with my left arm while I raised my right leg and kicked her as hard as I could, she managed to brace herself with her other arm but still went flew a few solid meters regardless while I backed away to make some distance.

Toga landed on her two feet, her arm trembling slightly from the pain as she blushed.

"Owie~ you really show no mercy do you Hakari-kun? So cool~! I'm Toga Himiko! Date me please~!" She said, licking the blood with an almost orgasmic expression as her creepy eyes stared into me with fervour as I tried to ignore the sharp pain in my left arm, my right arm landing on top of a dumpster.

[{Rare} Danger Sense] => [{Rare} Apport]

"Well, I would love to go on one if you would just stop stabbing me?" She got a ferocious expression hearing that.

"But you would be much cooler with more blood on you!" She said charging me while at the same time pulling another knife out of her skirt and throwing it with precision. Due to my focus, the knife grazed my side but at the same time, my eyes narrowed.

'Apport!'

"Huh!? Argh!" Toga suddenly faltered as her top appeared in my hands exposing her white bra while the metal dumpster full of trash teleported onto her back all of its weight suddenly bearing down on her as she fell, but managed to react fast enough to roll from under it, narrowly avoiding being pinned by it, unfortunately for her, I predicted her dodge and arrived in front of her.

'Apport!'

The sailor uniform in my hands was swapped with the knife in her hands as I leaned forward and slashed with the knife, aiming for her neck.

"Urk!" She winced as she brought up her arm, leading me to just slash her arm with it before she pulled another knife from her sock and stabbed forward with unprecedented dexterity, the tip of the knife sliding into my gut before I also stabbed forward, forcing her to backflip, both of us backing up to get some distance.

Seeing the blood on my shirt she blushed even further as she breathed heavily licking the knife again.

"You rather rough aren't you Hakari-kun~? But I am fine with that too~!" She pulled out another knife from under her skirt crouching to get into a proper fighting stance, I could see her bruised and bleeding arm moving slower than the other arm.

She is good, too good. She is supernaturally agile and dextrous, she is better at me at knifeplay that's for sure. If it's unarmed I win but the amount of knives she has is seemingly never-ending. My concentration slips every time I use apport and I can only use it so many more times due to the weight of that dumpster.

My eyes narrowed.

The only feasible way to win is getting her into a proper grapple, whether she will let me do that is another matter entirely.

"Please let me drink your blood~!" She charged at me at inhuman speeds, throwing one knife at my head which I had to duck, Toga however seemingly planned for the sight I saw when leaning down was Toga picking a knife up from the ground that she had thrown earlier as she stabbed forward with both knives, leaving me no room to dodge.

Well, she wasn't the only one with a plan here.

'Apport!'

Gripping both my shirt and pants I targeted her knives, my shirt replacing the knife aiming for my sternum but.

'The fuck do you mean my pants are too poor!?'

*Stab!*

I grit my teeth as I felt Toga's knife fully sink into my shoulder, but she was also surprised that her knife was taken again. But she was in close range, she started slipping out but not on my watch!

/Bam!/ /Crunch!/ "Kuak!!!"

My right fist struck Toga's face full force feeling her face fracture from the force my punch sent her flying like a rag as she hit the floor before shakily standing up from the vicious blow while I took a knee, it hurt really bad, and the blood loss wasn't good.

Fuck, she was strong. That appointed knife also cut my midriff, they were extremely sharp. I could see that she was hurt and disorientated by my punch but otherwise still in the fight, it was bullshit.

If I didn't have polar channel flow on and took that punch my brain would be making out with the pavement. She was durable and fast, more than me. Just perfect.

I don't have any more things to apport, and using it so many times in succession along with polar channel flow has reduced my energy level to little more than smatterings.

If this fight drags on any longer I will run out of Cellular Overdrive and really get stabbed to death.

Fuck you! If I am going out again it will be with my head crushed like a watermelon between a pretty girl's thighs!

It's all or nothing!

I braced myself, getting into a running position while Toga looked at my body like a juicy piece of steak, blushing and breathing heavily as she got her knife ready to slice me up even more.

Putting as much strength as I possibly could into my legs I shot like a rocket at her while she also ran at me, albeit slightly wobbly, still disorientated. And then I pulled my last move, a do-or-die.

'Ap...port...!'

I squeezed my energy to its limits, and replaced the bloody knife I picked up with Toga's shoe, making her suddenly lose her balance. And then I slammed into her lithe body like an energized ruby player.

"Guahk!" /Bam!/

Toga's body hit the concrete with enough strength that I felt her ribs strain, knocking the air out of her. The knife was knocked out of her hands with my inhuman strength, Toga tried to guard her body with her arms as I punched down, feeling her arms bend like dry pasta under my fist.

"Urk!"

My fists did not stop as Toga desparately tried to avoid my fists coming down at her, adrenaline surged in my veins I HAD to kill her. I could not sleep at night if I didn't.

/Bam!/

I broker her guard, her arms falling limply by her side, fractured and weak. She was finally defenceless, I could scatter her skull fragments across the pavement.

Before I struck, I saw her face, red with a blush and stained with tears. There was genuine sadness in her instead of madness like I expected.

"Haah, hahaah, I don't want to die~."

I stared at her face, my fists relaxed by my sides.

Two trains of thought were colliding inside my mind.

A part of me, emotions, pitied her. She was ostracized, society chewed her up and spit her out. I knew how such a thing felt. How a world where you felt like you couldn't live in felt like. She never received help and she turned out like this.

Another part of me, logic, wanted to just pick up the knife and end her. After all, she stalked me and planned to kill me at the very least. Killing her was the most logical course of action, I would both get rid of a future threat and likely get a roll for finishing the quest.

Looking at her I remembered something. A memory.

Of a boy, crouching behind a dumpster, crying and puking from stress. His feet bleeding from running out of the apartment without shoes on, he hadn't even known she was married and now because of that, he had attacked a Yakuza member. For all he knew, his life was over.

His life crumbled around him, his life no longer looked like a life but a guillotine closing in. Crushed by stress and worry he puked and cried himself to sleep behind a dumpster not knowing what to do, too afraid to go back to his apartment.

He was completely alone in the world.

And looking at this girl reminded him of himself. Fucked over by circumstances beyond their control and ostracised by society for being different. All it takes is just being dealt a single bad hand by life for it to fuck you over permanently.

They were a bit too similar for his liking.

Kota released a sigh.

Unfortunately, humans were animals of emotion, not logic.

It may not be the smart move, but his life was seldom about being responsible.

A hand came down and suddenly stroked the zoning out Himiko's cheek, snapping her out of it as she looked up, seeing the bloody yet somehow gentle smile of Hakari made her heart beat a thousand times a second.

"Hey, feels like we got off to a bit of a bad start, didn't we? Right, you wanted some blood right? Here, no need to pull knives over something like that." Hakari held the arm with the open wound over Toga's mouth as her mouth opened wide in anticipation, lapping up the bright red life elixir like a man in a desert.

She had an orgasmic expression as she did so. A pleasure so beyond anything else she felt before. 'This must be true love~'. But she whined as the crimson fountain was taken from her, she craned open her eyes to see Hakari's awkward expression.

"Sorry to... uh. Cut off your 'meal' there but I kind of need some inside me to function. Don't worry, you can have some more later, patience is the key to sustainable farming." Toga felt the weight of her love get off her as he shakily stood up.

"Thankfully, neither of us have loud quirks, not that I know yours that is, but no one should have been alerted." He said, tearing his shirt into strips with one of the knives and binding the wounds as tightly as he could as she watched, he looked so cool covered in blood, both hers and his.

He threw her shirt back, she pouted, did he not even want to look at her body or something? Regardless, she put it on since they were in public, she watched him scratch his head before turning to her.

"Hey, I know this might be moving things a bit too fast but do you have a place I could crash at? I am kind of homeless at the moment and cannot go into a motel looking like this." Toga smiled brightly.

She got to have a date with her crush AND she got to bring him back to her home? This couldn't have gone better.

Standing up she winced, her arms certainly did not agree with that.

"Sure! I have some hideouts Hakari-kun~! Follow me!"

'Hopefully, I made the right choice.'

This would definitely not bite him in the ass later.

A/N: It was really fun to write this scene with Kota's limited moveset. Kota may be skilled but so is Toga to a ridiculous degree, they both rely on their innate combat sense instead of a set martial style so in terms of technique they are about equal with Toga having an edge, with Kota having more brute strength compared to Toga's agility.

As for why he needed Cellular Overdrive to match her, Kota is still a normal-ish human compared to the blatant superhumans of MHA. Toga was easily pinning down Deku who was better trained than when he was able to carry the 250kg All Might on his back.

If only she had a combat quirk it would have gone much differently, unfortunately for her, Hakari is also kind of a monster when it comes to fighting.
