In To the Forest

Griezler and Arlin reached at the river in which he can see the bridge. The bridge is made up of simple wood block and tied with rope each end of the both side side to the wooden stump . Where one can narrowly walk while holding rope. It is 245 feet height lying under the bridge is a river having depth of 86 feet deep.

Incoming attacks are coming and he looking forward to the coming storm

"You go first"

"Then what about you dad"

"As you can see they were coming, you cross the bridge quickly. I can ward off those hazed persons"

"then i m going" i don't want to be the cause of taking any more life that mom gave to me.

With a little determination Arlin keeps moving to the other sides

The distance between the village exit and forest entry is very long, so the bridge in which Arlin is travelling is very lengthy. While Arlin try to make his way quick to reach the other side. So his dad can easily escape from the current enemies.

Hha i reached here, i always wondered why the other species in the forest doesen't infiltrate us our village until now All answer is lying in front of me,what is this door?

Even if i stayed in that village, i wouldn't even go near this forest nor is see this door before. Some symbols and sign is marked on the door.

A hand is approaching on my back,was blood over his hand

"!shit.. You scared me dad, hhaa you are here then what about enemies?

I saw this forest and forgot everything for a while.There is a good reason for that, although it looks like a forest from a distance, when you get close to it, it is like a nest, surrounded by thick roots emitting some energy that feels familiar.

When he look back, No enemies are seen and the bridge is also broken. Look like my dad himself broke the bridge to prevent the hazed person from coming here.

"Why are you standing here? "

He took something from his pocket, it is a small spherical ball it glows when it placed on the door

"It is a Skard that every door of the forest have. When it placed on the corressponding place on the door

I had never been in the forest until now, and i am very afraid of what kind of creature we are going to encounter.

A question arose within me, can I escape? All that time always remember my mother's face. That's what brought me here.

They entered the forest and the door is closing on its own after passing through the door. Before closing Skard itself flying back to Griezler and he caught it and put it inside his pocket.

Arlin got dumbfounded"WhAt"

Griezler take his swords in charged stuck on the ground.

"I can acscertain the location the monsters so we can nearest safest location in this forest'

An energy emanate from body to sword get pass through the ground. It is same color as a fire.

"I tried to pin point the monsters location nearby but there is no single monsters here nearby, is this good or bad"

"Dad what happened"

"Go to left, there is a cave nearby "

"Don't be scared, there is no monster i detected there"

After travelling some distance they reached their destination.

"Go get some sleep first"

"Are you not going to sleep"

"Don't concern about me, you concern about yourself"

Just as Griezler about to say, Arlin slept on a cloth that was there

"A~aahh imm sor~~ry mo~m, imm sor~~ry mo~m"

A voice awaken the sleeping Griezler, he approached Arlin and look at him as he was having bad nightmare

"Poor kid, it is not you fault and pat his sleepy head"

A night passed smoothly Arlin waked up from the sleep

"Oo you woke up, did you get a good sleep"

"Mm i slept well"

"liar"

"Did you say anything"

"Nothing, you carry this wooden spear to reach the exit, we will have to face some monsters"

Upon hearing this my water inside my throught dried up, thinking about what to do when facing a monster

"Don't worry Arlin,even if I give my life, I will save you from this forest"

" I don't like it, if we are escaping it will be together"

"I don't want to lose anymore life for me"

Hearing Arlin words touched Griezler, he smile

"Did you smile, do you think it's funny?

"No i smiled beacuse i am happy "

Arlin didn't understand the word his father said right

"Come Arlin, let's go "

Before he continue, he bow down to the cave

for give him a sleep

"Waiiit for mee"

Griezler and Arlin thought they will encounter so many monster, but there is nothing but a complete, only hearing birds voice

"What is happening to this forest"

"Dad, i think we are safe now and i can see the exit from here"

"Wait, you can see from here but i can't see it

What are your eyes Arlin"

"Is this really good, i never had his experience in this forest, oo i remembered my wife did not allow me to go to this forest after the child's incident that day"

"Is this hint of that brutal incident, anyway it is better to get out of this forest before anything

After travelling long while they reached the exit he took the skard and put it into door, the door slowly opens

They felt relieved

"Now we can get out of here" Arlin happiness is out of control"

But their sadness is come to end suddenly as they don't know something is approaching for this opportunity.

"On the right side in which they were standing, between two trees a huge hand shown up out of nowhere,a blue furs covered

look like a gorilla with a sharp nail and on the other hand there is human body

"What the heck is that" Arlin scared the shit and his body can't move

"Get a grip Arlin do you want to waste your mom's sacrifice"

"Momm"as some voice is hearing inside my mind and a hand is on my back feeling the presence of mom

"Am i this pathetic" slapped on his own face "wake up"

Arlin stood up again waiting for the chance of survival

Griezler grinned

"That is my boy"

Now both are waiting for the door.When the door opens wide they have to try to get out and then try to get that monster out of here
