Scott entered the house and climbed the stairs wondering what he would find. He had no idea what Ana's mood might be like. When he walked into the bedroom, he found Ana sitting in the middle of the bed with both hands on her stomach. She was watching her stomach very intensely.

"Baby, what are you doing?" Scott asked slightly alarmed.

"He's not moving at all, Scott." Ana said panic in her voice.

"You were given a sedative less than two hours ago to lower your heart rate. It put you right to sleep. I'm sure the baby is sleeping. He was just fine when Nicholas checked him." Scott tried reassuring her. When she didn't move from her spot he climbed onto the bed beside Ana.

"What if he is gone to punish me for being wanton?" Ana muttered.

Scott sat up and pulled her face up to look at him. "Do not say that ever again. I mean it."

"I can't tell the truth now, Scott?" Ana scoffed.
