The Return

The proposal from her siblings was shot down by the attorneys because it would mean Ana giving up a hundred million dollars of money she was owed. This would also jeopardize the current talks to pay out a significant portion of what was owed to Ana in return for dropping criminal charges against Coulter for the extortion case. This would clear up the siblings' issues anyway. The proposal wasn't smart and reeked of panic and desperation.

Two days after the Coulter's visit was Ana's twenty-six-week appointment with Dr. Clinton to determine whether Ana could finally be free of any restrictions. Ana was feeling anxious about the appointment, but she didn't really understand why. Melissa told her it was general nervousness since she was so afraid of being put back on bed rest. Ana thought she might be right.
