Minor Skirmishes

The location of the hidden spirit world wasn't very close, but it wasn't far either, a few thousand kilometers away. On board the giant blue bird, an aura of joy and festive atmosphere prevailed, although the gaze of jealousy and envy was directed towards Zhao Yongzhengfor several reasons. His unexpected presence, standing next to the captivating beauty, Zhao Xiaohui.

"Flying really feels great, how I envy the cultivators!" Zhao Yongzheng told his big sister with apparent jealousy in his voice.

"Haha, yes, it is fun and I cannot deny it," Zhao Xiaohui replied laughing, enjoying arousing his envy and teasing him.

Zhao Yongzheng added with a slight joke, "I think I can fly too!"

"Oh, and how are you going to do that?" Zhao Xiaohui raised one eyebrow curiously and said.

"I think the only way for mortals to fly is by flying their souls to heaven" From afar, a female voice came as he approached them, the first disciple of the Phoenix Hall, Jing Yi.

"I also think cultivators can fly this way too," replied a manly and rough voice, from afar, a person of huge structure who also approached this tripartite gathering, the first disciple of the Formation Hall, Jiang Huang.

"Big Brother" Zhao Yongzheng acted quickly and bowed down before the quarrel between his big sister and Jing Yi began, he didn't want to start any conversations and cause him a slight headache.

"But I don't think they will share the same heaven as us cultivators," another male voice emanating from afar, disciple of the Divine Eye Hall and son of master Zhao changming, Zhao Xia.

"Big brother," Zhao Yongzhen bowed again, a pitying smile on his face. He did not know that a simple joke would cause all this.

"Oh, are my eyes fooling me, or are you seeing something I don't see? Has the ruler of heaven come down to us to tell us this great news?!" A mocking voice came from the first disciple of the Divine Eye Hall, Chen Yong, as he approached them with confident steps.

"Big Brother!" Zhao Yongzheng bent again, feeling pain in his back due to the frequent bends and heavy load he carries.

The crowd watched that discussion with interest, as they witnessed the strongest disciples of the sect gather together, and it was amazing that this gathering was around the disabled. Even the master of the Formation Hall, Qing Shan, seemed to be curious about this discussion, but she did not pay attention to them or show any reaction, but her great power enabled her to hear everything that was going on without having to look.

In the midst of this curious crowd, there was one character indifferent to what was happening, the first disciple of the Divine Revelation Sword Hall, Zhao Mei. She sits far away, closing her eyes as they wait for them to reach the invisible spirits realm, uninterested in the discussions around her.

"And I thought that the insight of the disciples of the Divine Eye Hall was second to none. It seems I was wrong, not everything is as big brother claims," Jing Yi said, with a scathing irony sneaking into her voice.

"And I agree with my big sister, not everyone in the Phoenix Hall is as beautiful as phoenix," Qing Yong replied softly, one corner of his lips rising in a cunning smile, responding to her sarcasm coldly and confidently.

The atmosphere seemed charged among the disciples, as if the words they exchanged were just a shell of deeper depth than the hidden competition.

Jing Yi, a disciple of the Phoenix Hall, known for her charming beauty and confidence that preceded her, looked at Chen Yong with a sarcastic look and a clear loneliness.

"Our vision of things may be different, but we are undoubtedly good at guiding spirits on their right path," Zhao Xia said in a condescending tone, with sarcasm evident in his voice, unable to hide his inferiority view of mortals.

"Haha, that's enough. We are about to enter the invisible spirits realm, and any differences can be postponed until later," Jiang Huang said, interrupting the discussion with a rough, manly laugh that reflected his confidence and prestige, trying to end the conflict between the disciples.

Chen Yong looked at Jiang Huang and nodded slightly, endorsing his wise words that carry with them the weight of strength and leadership. Everyone knew that Jiang Huang was not just an ordinary disciple; he had a special place among his peers.

"Hmpf, Zhao Yongzhen, doesn't mean that you have come with us and you have the right to hinder our trip," Jing Yi snorted arrogantly, turning round to leave with the pleasure she had hoped to get from the argument dissipated, "I wouldn't hesitate to leave you behind if you tried to hinder our."

Zhao Yongzhen was disturbed by her words, but still kept his calm smile.

"I agree with you, big sister," Zhao Xia said as he looked with half-closed eyes at Zhao Yongchen, before turning his back and leaving the place in turn, showing the indifference to which he is accustomed in his dealings with him.

"Haha, thank you for coming, big brothers," Zhao Yongzheng said with an innocent smile at Jiang Huang and Chen Yong, trying to calm the atmosphere before he entered the invisible spirits realm. He did not want any skirmishes that might disturb the flight or cause problems before the mission began.

Jiang Huang, gently possessing his strength, put his hand on Zhao Yongzheng's shoulder and said, "Hahaha, don't worry young brother Zhao, things will go well. Just focus on doing what you can, this trip will broaden your horizons."

Chen Yong added, "Remember, we are here to learn and discover. You don't have to do too much, and also be close to master Qing Shan and be wary of anything."

"I am dying to see the abundant harvest of all," Zhao Yongzhen nodded, grateful for the unexpected support of Jiang Huang and Chen Yong.

"I think this trip will be very interesting this time, so if you find something else it doesn't mean you can't have it," Chen Yong said with a quiet smile nodding toward Zhao Yongzheng.

"Thank you, big brothers," Zhao Yongzheng said these words with all the kindness and affection he could bring out to his big brothers.

"Well, my turn is over here, be careful, Zhao Yongzheng," Jiang Huang said as he left, waving his hand carelessly as Chen Yong followed him with quiet steps.

From afar, the master of the formation hall, Qing Shan, smiled slightly as she watched as her glorious disciple handled the situation. She felt good but couldn't stop herself from sighing because of the minor skirmishes that had occurred, and said to herself in barely audible voice: "Ah, this trip couldn't be more exciting than it is now."

Zhao Yongzheng's face was slightly disappointed as he turned to Zhao Mei, thinking for a moment that the gathering might arouse her curiosity and get closer to them, but it didn't happen.

"You really like the big sister, Zhao Mei," said Zhao Xiaohui, pointing with her soft jade finger towards her younger brother's forehead, with features trying to hide her naughty smile.

"And what is admiration good for?" said Zhao Yongzheng with a deep sigh, "Not everything you wish to realize is realized, especially if a disabled person is like me."

"What's wrong with that? If you tell our father, he will pull the strings together," Zhao Xiaohui said, encouraging her brother in her own words.

Zhao Yongzheng shook his head in denial, "And I bring ridicule to her by marrying a disabled person? I can't do that to her. Not to mention that my time is coming to an end."

Zhao Yongzhen quickly cut her off the discussion, saying, "Let's rest now before we arrive. You also have to take a break."

Zhao Xiaohui complied with her brother's words, breathing deeply as she sat beside him, closing her eyes in an attempt to gather her thoughts before entering the invisible spirits realm. Zhao Yongzheng, on the other hand, removed the heavy load from his back and leaned on it to rest a little.

After hours of quiet flight, a strong female voice reverberated in everyone's ears as if speaking near them. It was the voice of the master of the formation hall, Qing Shan, telling everyone: "Get ready, we're closer."

Everyone woke up from their nap, exchanging anticipatory glances and enthusiastic comments as they prepared to embark on their adventure in the invisible spirits realm, which holds countless secrets and opportunities that only come once every seven thousand years.
