Chapter Fifty-Eight

"What's up with that guy?" Erwin grumbles as he plops into the mattress beside me. "Why is he so clingy? I don't like him a bit!"

 

I close my book and set it aside. "Nothing can I do about it." I take off my reading glasses and put them on my nightstand beside the bed, "He is a business partner and a very important one."

 

"I know." Erwin scooches in and lays his head on my lap. "Now tell me what happened between you and your brother eight years ago?"

 

"Hmm, I will tell you in one condition." I say.

 

"And the condition is?" Erwin arches his brow.

 

"Afterward you have to tell me where you go every day and what is going on in your mind." I pinch his nose.

 

"Okay, if you want to hear so eagerly then I will tell you." Erwin nuzzles with my nose, "First tell me about yours."
