The Cursed Luna

The man sat down in his private study, a glass of whiskey in his hand that he twirled tirelessly. His eyebrows were furrowed, his gaze fixed on the same letter for the past minute. He sighed, dropping the glass on the table and ran his fingers through his hair. He contemplated calling her but paused, not wanting to be nagged today. He really had to do something about them.

A knock jolted him out of his thoughts. "Come in," he called out and watched as the doorknob shifted before being opened fully.

A maid stepped in, her head lowered. "Alpha, an Alpha Jo-" the maid didn't get to complete her words as the intruder stepped into the room.

"Alpha Ethan," the intruder voiced out.

Ethan cocked an eyebrow up, his lips forming a thin line. "Leave," he ordered the maid, who scampered out of the office.

"Alpha Josh, to what do I owe this visit," he said, picking up the glass of whiskey and gesturing for the alpha to sit down.
