After punishing Elsie, Stel lay on the large bed in the bedroom, wearing only a bath towel.
Soon, Elsie regained some strength and stumbled out of the bathroom.
Her remaining nightgown and other clothes had all been torn apart by Stel.
Elsie had nothing left to wear.
So, like Stel, she wrapped herself in a bath towel.
But the household towels were too short.
They couldn't cover Elsie's entire body.
She had no choice but to leave her long, white legs completely exposed.
With Stel lying on the bed, she could only press her legs together and lean against the bedside.
A bit of her body peeked out from the towel.
But for Stel, the sight had lost its appeal.
Stel lay silently on the bed.
His mind, however, was in turmoil.
Why am I not being attacked by zombies?
Could it be that upon rebirth, I acquired this ability?
In a zombie apocalypse, having the ability not to be attacked by zombies.
Means I can do whatever I want in this world.
I can search for supplies or do anything else without worry.
"Master, please listen to me, I…"
Elsie thought the quiet moment was a good opportunity to explain herself to Stel.
"Shut up, there's no need to explain."
Stel turned his head, and his cold gaze silenced Elsie.
Her delicate shoulders trembled.
"I know exactly what kind of wretch you are."
"Even if you didn't do it on purpose this time, it doesn't matter."
"I'm keeping you alive because you satisfy my needs. Once you're no longer useful."
"You'll end up like those zombies downstairs, understand?"
"Yes…"
Elsie shivered all over, feeling as if poisonous insects were crawling on her skin.
After silencing Elsie, Stel began to contemplate how to take revenge on the person hiding on the second floor.
If you dare to mess with me, you'll pay the price!
After resting for a while, Stel grabbed his backpack.
He pulled out the supplies he had brought.
Canned food, bottled water, and instant bread.
These supplies were enough for the two of them to last another month.
Though the food was monotonous, it was better than nothing.
In this apocalypse, having anything to eat was a blessing.
Seeing so much food, Elsie swallowed hungrily.
Stel rationed the food for each day.
But now that he knew zombies wouldn't attack him, he didn't have to worry about food.
He could go out and gather supplies anytime.
Stel hesitated about whether to tell Elsie about this.
After some thought, he decided against it.
He didn't trust this woman, and if she knew his secret, she might betray him.
With this ability, he could achieve a lot.
Like… building his own palace!
In this apocalyptic world, with human society on the brink of collapse.
With laws and order broken down, he could do whatever he wanted!
Desire flickered in Stel's eyes.
Having just Elsie wasn't enough.
After returning to the apartment.
Bobby went back to the balcony from the bedroom.
He peeked down.
The yellow car had been breached by zombies, and Stel was nowhere in sight.
Bobby was ecstatic.
"Hahaha! That guy has probably turned into a zombie by now!"
Pausing, Bobby patted his chest, half pleased, half disappointed.
"Too bad I didn't get to see him die with my own eyes!"
But Stel's death was good news for him regardless.
He thought about how Stel was gone, and the woman upstairs was now living alone.
Then he had a chance.
Especially when he thought of Elsie's white, slender legs.
Bobby felt a rush of blood to his head.
He planned to wait for a while until there were no zombies on the second and third floors, then quietly make his way to the third floor.
If that didn't work…
He looked up at the third-floor balcony.
He could always climb up!
After all, in this apocalypse, there was no law against assault!
In the early morning, the zombies' movements became sluggish.
With few surviving humans around,
the zombies had no targets and stood like wooden stakes.
Bobby, having nothing to do, stayed on the balcony a bit longer.
Maybe he could catch a glimpse of Elsie's legs.
He could also tell her that Stel was dead.
But as Bobby was scheming, his ears twitched slightly.
"Ah…"
A woman's voice floated in from somewhere.
Though faint, it was unmistakably Elsie's voice.
Only that woman could sound so alluring!
"…!"
Bobby's interest was piqued, and he followed the direction of the sound.
He finally confirmed it was coming from the bathroom above.
He quickly ran to his bathroom.
Pressing his ear against the wall adjacent to Elsie's apartment.
"Ah…"
Sure enough!
It was definitely Elsie!
As Bobby listened, he felt himself getting aroused, and his head started to sweat.
"That slut, her boyfriend's dead, and she's still doing this alone!"
But then he thought, smiling wickedly.
"Her man probably couldn't satisfy her!"
"What a gem of a woman, she should be mine to enjoy."
Thinking this made Bobby overjoyed.
He stayed in that position, eavesdropping on the sounds from the other side.
For a full two hours!
After two hours…
Bobby's neck was stiff, and he finally couldn't take it anymore, so he returned to his room.
His entire body was drenched in sweat.
"This woman is something else. No wonder her man couldn't handle her…"
But Bobby thought, once he got into her apartment,
everything would be under his control.
Elsie would have no say except to serve him!
However, Bobby had one lingering doubt.
Where did Stel's big backpack go?
Could it still be in the car?
He looked closely but didn't see the backpack through the car window.
"Maybe after he turned into a zombie, he wandered off with the backpack…"
After all, zombies aren't thinking beings.
They might not even realize they're carrying something.
They just follow their instinct to attack humans!
Bobby grew more convinced of his theory.
At night, when Elsie was asleep,
Stel suddenly opened his eyes.
In the pitch-black night, his gaze was especially sharp.
He quietly got out of bed,
making no sound.
Elsie, exhausted from the day, fell asleep instantly.
She didn't notice Stel.
"Perfect time to test it out…"
Stel wanted to know just how far his immunity to zombie attacks would go.
The dead of night was the best time to experiment.
