Bane of Gods.

FELIS stood there like a statue, his eyes shut tight and his right hand held up in a glowing fist. Ash was mesmerized by the pulsating light emanating from Felis's arm, so much so that he didn't notice the multiple crew members advancing towards him. It wasn't until Glit, her face twisted in horror, tapped him back into reality that he snapped out of his trance.

Given the intensity of the situation, it was understandable for Glit to be scared, but the sheer terror in her eyes spun Ash's head involuntarily. Four individuals, who had previously blended in as ordinary crew members, were now moving purposefully toward him and Glit. He stood there, frozen. So much had transpired in mere seconds that his mind was shocked into a standstill.

Just as they were about to reach him, the lower deck latch burst open, and One-Eyed Rowan sprang out. He leaped over both Glit and Ash, his guns flashing in his hands as he fired two shots from each, dropping the four assailants with perfect accuracy. The bullets struck their foreheads with lethal precision, and before Ash knew it, Rowan had his arm wrapped around him, hoisting him off the deck floor.

"Come on, guys, you're slowing the Cap'n down," Rowan said, heading straight for the starboard. Before Ash or Glit could protest, Rowan dove off the side of the ship with them in tow. One moment, Ash was staring at Felis's statue-like form; the next, he was gulping down a mouthful of salty ocean water. He struggled in Rowan's grasp for half a second before feeling himself being pushed out of the ocean by something.

He shook off the water from his eyes and glanced around him, they were in the small lifeboat that usually was attached to the side of the larger boat. He looked to check if Glit was okay but she was pointing at something behind them, her jaw dropped open.

Ash glanced back and saw the scene unfold on the boat. Captain Felis had shifted into a powerful stance, drawing his fist back slowly while locking his gaze on the Narvach's ship, the Silent Sorrow. This ship was one of the few named vessels in the Leviathan army, which meant it was more than a ship, it was a symbol!

"You might have thought yourself a god, Helios! But I..." Felis bellowed, his arm pulling back further, his eyes blazing as he stared at the Silent Sorrow. "I am the bane of gods!" With that, he thrust his fist forward, punching the air with explosive force.

What happened next was a blur to Ash, as if someone had taken frame pictures of the moments and was showing them to him one by one. As the captain's fist hurled through the air, the glow from his arm vanished, and a visible wave of energy erupted from their ship. It smashed into the Silent Sorrow, instantly blowing the ship into smithereens.

Screams of agony filled the air as what was left of the Narvach's ship began to sink into the ocean. The wind caused either by the Captain's punch or the ship's explosion knocked their boat sideways, causing Ash to knock against his friend.

He tried to stand up and see what was happening, but his eyes widened in shock as a massive wave of water loomed over their boat, with Helios floating atop it, his hands outstretched and his face contorted in rage. "The Admirals told me that if I ever encountered any of the four Pirate Kings, I should make a report, only a report, but you have angered me!" Helios roared, thrusting his hands forward. The wave surged forward, towering above the ship.

Ash stumbled back, falling on his butt in fear. Yet again, his fear proved unfounded. He looked up and saw their captain, Felis, standing directly in front of Helios in mid-air. "You talk too much!" Felis's voice thundered across the ocean like that of a deity. He then delivered a powerful punch to the Narvach, the force of which sent Helios flying across the distance, disappearing from sight. The wave crashed down, drenching the deck with a stream of water.

Felis landed in a roll, grabbing Kay and Mute as he dove into the ocean with them. Rowan swiftly maneuvered the lifeboat toward the three, pulling them both aboard. Ash glanced at Kay and Mute, seeing their surprise and exasperation. They had no idea what was happening, and even Ash, who had some inkling, was confused.

Rowan then started the mechanical engine, and the lifeboat sped away from the chaos.

Helios opened his eyes underwater as he drifted to the bottom of the deep dark ocean. He felt a sharp pain from his stomach where Godblast punched him andnhe was amazed he was still alive. The cryptological potion he'd consumed automatically kicked in to save him from drowning and for this reason almost ninety percent of it has been drained from his body.

He swam upwards unable to use his ability for fear of draining himself, at last he broke the surface tension of he water and breathed fresh air. He swam forward and held a floating debris, a recognizable part of the Silent Sorrow. He gritted his teeth as he watched the other boat drift away from the area gliding across the water and fleeing the sea and around him he saw the members of his crew hanging on to floating debris of their sunken ship. His annoyance reached its peak, not once in five years has he being in this position.

He frantically searched his pocket for his emergency potion, this situation was hopeless and if he wanted any hope of survival, he needed to have his powers back. He felt his chest pocket and felt the pouch. He sighed and his lips curved into a smile. He drew the pouch out from his pocket, his hand already trembling from the cold of the ocean. He might be a very strong cryptid, but he wasn't used to conditions like this. He opened the pouch only to find a broken vial inside it.

He winced as part of the broken glass cut his fingertip. He breathed in anxiety as he watched the boat sail away from afar, his eyes reddened and he felt his own veins popping out of his skin.

"GOOODDDBLLLASSST!!!!" He yelled till his lungs gave out.
