FAQ: The one who decides these things

This chapter is subjected to update. Any update will be indicated on the author's note. The chapter entails details on things people might find confusing in the write-up. Most especially the power system.

There are Seven Sigils of power and each sigil is actually a precious and rare gemstone scattered across the vast ocean. The sigils grant Cryptids the ability to use different abilities according to the sigil they process within their system.

These sigils however powerful have side effects and cannot be ingested directly to be processed by a Cryptid's body system. So these Sigils are converted into potions to allow assimilation or processing.

Potions do have different qualities and this is one of the problems Cryptids face because low grade potions can be poisonous to their system.

The Seven Sigils are as listed. Note that the abilities listed in front of them are just the general ability this sigil covers and cryptids have to train themselves to understand their own abilities. Most Sigils will not be listed with their abilities due to Spoilers.

1. The Amber: Supernatural Condition.

2. The Sapphire: Nature Manipulation

3. The Azure: Perspective Manipulation

4. The Concave Eye

5. The Asterisk

6. The Moonlit

7. The Tusk

There are three classes of Cryptids and they are;

1. Thrones: These ones can only assimilate one Pearl. If they assimilate more than one they get poisoned blood that ejects their body through every orifice. They don't die at first though. So they shouldn't try again. They are tied to a specific one.

2. The Alloys: This one can use two to three of the pearls. But are tied to those specifics

3. The Fluid. They can use all seven pearls. But not together. Like alloys they can use two to three at a time and then once the assimilation is complete and they have finished. They can use another. And there are three classes of Encoders.

The Sigils are grouped into different sections due to their compatibility with each other;

The First group contains, The Amber and The Sapphire; This is called the Hazards! Alloys are usually tied to just these two and will be poisoned if they try to process another kind of sigil. However there are rare cases where a Hazard can process The Azure.

The Second group contains, The Tusk, The Azure and The Moonlit; They are called the Hexes! The Alloys in this section are completely tied to just these three.

The Third group contains, The Concave Eye and The Asterisk, They are called the Arcane! The Alloys in this case are completely bound to these two and are advised never to try to process any other Sigil to check if they are fluids or not.
