Chiefs Meeting 2

The murmurs continued with outrageous words each pouring dirty water on Gu Dong and Gu Feiye.

The murmurs grew louder and bolder till a rage filled voice ended it.

"Stop!"

A terrifying silence overwhelmed the room.

Gu Dong angry voice echoed loudly chilling the people inside, the people outside weren't spared, the lower ones almost collapse from the terrifying amount of energy infused in it.

They all looked at Gu Dong, his chest heaving and temple constantly twitching. His grinding teeth echoed loudly in the now silent room.

"What do you mean Gu?!" A voice broke the silence followed by several other voices.

Usually Gu Dong has them firmly wrapped around his fingers, under his wrathful control. All of them aren't united enough to bring him down,each with his own thoughts. They found a common reason to be united today and the voice is overwhelming enough to consume him.

"Why are you trying to harm the innocent girl?"

Ify turned her head to look at the familiar chief. Her chest heaved with anger on seeing the infatuated look on his face. His brows twisting heavily occasionally casting glances at Winter. His looks towards the other chief is like a bunch of predators eyeing his precious gem.

The person felt a chill crawl up his spine and looked in his daughter's direction.

He blushed in embarrassment and lowered his head.

"I hate you!" Ify pointed at her father Ian with a wrathful gaze. He had been leading her on this journey of revenge and repeatedly assured her she will get what she wanted.

Ian eyes dimmed, he glance at Winter and saw the mesmerizing face, pure and flawless, he couldn't help but compare it to his daughter's now spot filled and his heart hardened again.

Ify had gone too far that day and that's what made the crown prince punish her. How can miss Powers coerce the crown prince into doing anything? the crown prince is cunning and sly he probably did it to ruin the miss Powers reputation! Miss Powers is too gentle and beautiful to harm anyone.

The fight that day was also probably intentionally provoked. He knows his daughter well and several atrocities she has committed over the years and he have to cover up. It was all his daughter's intentional provocation and rudeness. All this isn't his fault because he spoilt her, why can't she be like miss Powers, kind and gentle.

He has to redeem himself now and make up for all the necessary punishments he hasn't administered over the years. Fortunately he isn't too late.

Ian thought righteously not finding faults in anything he said. If someone decided to read his mind, it would be seen as filled with nasty and disgusting thoughts.

"Ify you are wrong and should know when you apologize"

" Apologize to miss Powers this instant!"

Ian said sternly, if one can ignore the former events this would have been a good moral sceme of a disappointed father disciplining his wrong daughter.

Ify's bloodshot eyes glared at Winter. 'This is all her fault!'

She rushed up to Winter full of anger, the guard is caught off guard and lost focus only regaining when his body came into contact with the floor.

"You this vixen!"

"You seduced my daddy!" She rushed up to Winter full of momentum.

Winter's eyes flashed a hint of coldness and she decided if the girl actually comes up to her she wouldn't mind breaking the hypnotism and deal this girl a final blow.

She is gradually irritating her.

"I will kill you"

As the girl raised her hand, Winter stood up and raised her hand to strike a deadly blow, one hit aims at fatal spot capable of killing.

She still felt a little reluctant to hit her. The girl's whole body is covered with disgusting pus and rotting flesh emanating a disgusting stench. She will get her hand thoroughly sanitized later.

"Ah!"

Ify body flew out and hit the wall nearby. Her condition directly worsened, a deep gash on her head spurted blood everywhere. Her body is in no better condition with deep and minor injuries, the pus looks better compared to her current condition.

Winter's eyes flickered to the little person beside her.

The little maid turned her head shyly. She had kicked the second chief's daughter in a moment of panic. The crown prince had said to make sure the miss doesn't get hurt.

And besides she knows the miss is still doing something that requires her to act soft and harmless, she don't want it to be ruined by this crazed person and she quite like the dog like faces of these arrogant people placed heavily under the miss feet.

It's satisfying.

The second chief miss is too ugly to taint the beautiful and radiant miss she had to do something.

"Thank you" Winter flashed a beautiful smile her pearly white teeth dazzling. Her eyes contained a playful tease.

Little maid lowered her head shot, her face usually flushed. She felt her irregular heartbeat and secretly cursed the miss as a vicious person, always maliciously seducing her. Luckily she is too loyal to the crown prince and didn't fall for her tricks or she would have been swayed to her a long time ago.

How despicable!

"I will kill you! I will kill you b*tch" Ify crazed and deranged voice shouted.

"Tch! In a bad condition but still have the energy to talk"

" I didn't think your condition is bad enough!" Little maid sneered.

The faces of the chiefs fell like they swallowed shit and their unfriendly gaze turned to Ian and Ify.

Ify might have been reduced to this but she is still of noble blood and the little maid blatant disrespect to her is equivalent to disrespecting all noble blood.

Even if hypnotized their ingrained arrogance and pride is something to be feared. Years of being in power and a figurehead receiving all the praise,fear and respect has become almost an obsession to them.

They instinctively feel lower and disrespected when little maid insulted Ify.

They were happy when she threw out Ify but angry when she insulted the latter.

Little maid didn't shrink back when faced with so much anger, she stood confidently beside Winter. She glared at them back with equal force and placed her hands on her hips.

She didn't do anything wrong. It was that ugly woman that should be locked up in a mental hospital.

Winter's lips curled up, any previous dissatisfaction towards the little maid vanished at that moment. She like the little hedgehog pose.

She didn't care if the hypnotism broke and spoke up her mind.

"Is this your sincerity?" She turned her gaze to the chiefs.

The chiefs heart leaped up feeling a chill ran up their spine.

Why did the gentle miss suddenly turned scary?

Almost like a demon straight out of hell.

"You people made baseless accusations against me, and now the supposed victim almost attacked me?!"

Winter didn't want to lose the momentum to attack the chiefs soft spot. The supposed higher blood disgust her.

She had always being disgusted with the concept right from the school and couldn't do anything to it. But she will do her beast her for the little maid.

"Am I just a joke to you?!"

" Or do you find me an easy target"

They missed the slight viciousness that passed through this sentence.

"We are sorry miss Powers" Ian said solemnly.

The rest immediately thought she just fault scary then out of anger and helplessness. This beautiful and gentle miss that looks like she can't hurt a fly will never hurt someone.

It must have been like this incidence that day that made her angry.

Once again their impression of Ify plummeted. And Ian made it worse by making a fuss on how the crown prince lady made things difficult for he and his daughter. That he didn't put the chief in his face.

Winter saw their expression and awkwardly smiled.

Why did she feel like a scheming mistress?

"I don't raise her properly which resulted in all of this" Ian cried out bitterly.

" To show my sincerity I will withdraw the case and properly discipline her"

Winter nodded with a smile on her face. The calculating look in Ian's eyes is impossible to hide.

"To personally apologize, I formally invite you to an afternoon tea at my manor"

Winter shook her head somewhat horrified 'i dare not' but her expression is still smiling.

"I believe it is inconvenient"

The other chiefs forgot their momentary fear of the Winter and the idea of her felling angry and helpless grew stronger. Their common enemy is now Ian. Not wanting to be left behind each one quickly expressed their own form of apology in their sincere way trying to outdo each other.

Winter calmly rejected all their invitations to various event. Who knew the shudder that passed through her body hearing their 'sincere apology'

The silent Gu Dong suddenly spoke up.

"This allegation presented to the chiefs council cannot be easily absolved"
