POV: Yuna Yu

I don't remember setting an alarm but it disturbingly went off when I was about to receive a kiss from my crush.

Damn it!Frustrated, I pick up my phone and turn off the alarm. A little self-loathing fills inside of me for doing such a stupid thing. I glance at the time and give out a sigh of relief.I can make it to the morning class.I struggle to get out of the accommodated warmth and comfort of my bed. I set down my phone on a nightstand shared between two beds and without caring to adjust my bed again for the afternoon, I change into a new outfit.I'm wearing jeans trousers with a plain white, baggy T-shirt. It is the most comfortable pair of clothes that I have and it's gonna come in handy during Mr. Goldhart's boring history classes. I know I shouldn't be saying classes are boring when I'm made to repeat the year but I just can't help it. I avoid having the second panic attack of the week by not thinking about how bad I shouldn't screw up during the retest.I leave my phone behind on the nightstand and leave the room after locking it. Although there are beds for two people, I'm the only one in the room. I don't know how long it would be before I get a roommate, but I anticipate that it's just around the corner as the next batch comes in.I walk out through the cafeteria and I catch the smell of pasta for lunch. I had resisted the urge to buy myself a protein bar earlier but I can't resist the smell of food anymore. I immediately felt hungry, and also extremely dejected that lunch is about three hours from now.Groaning, I force myself to walk out of the cafeteria and into Mr. Goldheart's classroom."Amazing work today, Yuna," Mr. Goldheart appreciated, "You're really putting in the effort!""Thanks," I said. I wasn't really interested to stay another moment in the classroom because my stomach was roaring for food."Just make sure to work on the dates in the second chapter," He advised, "A lot of those come up in the test."I nod and he smiles appreciatively. I wait for him to make another suggestion but he doesn't. Taking that as a cue to leave class, I quickly grab my stuff and walk out of class. After spending a half-hour in the cafeteria eating, I put my plate on the tray. Heading out of the cafeteria and into the girl's dormitories' corridor, I found myself feeling heavy from sleep. As I approached my dorm room, I found it to be open.Oh gosh, what is it? I thought to myself and I carry myself to the door. The first glance inside the room told me what was happening. I had my first roommate. She was tall, about 5'8". Thin and slender legs, accented for her athletic body. She had a blonde hair ponytail that extended down to her shoulders. Her gray eyes stared right into mine and for a moment, I felt drawn toward them."Hi...?" I started, "Are you new here?"It was such a duh moment that I felt stupid asking it the next second."Yeah!" She said energetically and didn't seem to mind my awkward question. Extending her hand towards me, she said, "Hi, I'm Linda. I'm gonna be your roommate from now!"
