The conflict between Pakistani cricketers with India's Harbhajan Singh is not going to stop. If Pakistan gets involved in any matter, then the Indian cricketer's face is like a small sword. Harbhajan and Kamran Akmal clashed once again within a month.
Akmal had his first clash with Harbhajan during the T20 World Cup in June. Akmal made rude comments about Arshdeep Singh during the India-Pakistan match at the Nassau County Stadium in New York. Akmal apologized when Harbhajan later protested strongly. The two former cricketers met again in the ongoing World Championship of Legends (WCL) in England. Akmal and Harbhajan had a heated exchange after the match between Indian champions and Pakistani champions in Birmingham on Saturday this week. It quickly went viral on social media.
Akmal opened up about what was the quarrel with Harbhajan.
Akmal said on a local YouTube channel, 'I made a mistake and was talking to him about it. I never thought of speaking offensively to anyone's religion (Regarding Arshdeep). Later I was talking to him (Harbhajan) about joking about Babar Azam. Admittedly, Babar and Brian Lara's class will never match. There is no point in comparing them. But as cricketers we should never make jokes. He also realized that it should not have been done.
Harbhajan's joke about Babar went viral on social media right after the 2024 T20 World Cup. Harbhajan was asked on a sports platform, who would he (Harbhajan) choose between Kumar Sangakkara and Brian Lara? In reply Harbhajan says Lara's name. Next question, who will Harbhajan choose between Lara and Babar Azam? How would Harbhajan answer, he couldn't help but smile.
