Burn

The entire yard was enveloped in a tense, unnerving silence. All who were present witnessed the never-before-seen violence of the Prince.

Who knew he was this dangerous?

Kingsley's head exploded without him even lifting a finger.

What else can he do—no, how much worse can he go?

The guards hesitantly raised their swords. With whatever courage left in them, they have to protect the household they swore loyalty to. But… Is this what they get for underestimating an Alpha-blooded wolf?

"Attack! Defend the Kingsley mansion!"

"Aaaahh!" They screamed what could very well be their final warcry.

They could only take a few steps before their systems felt controlled by an outside force. They looked at each other, frozen in place, and saw nosebleeds in their comrades. Some started to cry blood.

Blood streamed out of their eyes as they cried in pain.

Sirius casually put his hand in his pockets.

Within the closed doors of the Kingsley mansion, painful cries were heard. It became a bloodbath when blood continuously spewed out of them.

Some, drained of their blood, would fall limply on the ground. Giving their master's cold body some company.

Lord Sigertem watched this massacre from the gates, horrified.

This is a savagery that they've never seen in years from their own race. Werewolves have been so civilized that they forgot one could be capable of this. And from the strongest in their race, no less.

Sirius's head slowly turned to him.

"I show you mercy and this is what I receive?" He calmly said. "I respected you as her birth father, even after everything she went through under your roof."

He fully turns to him.

"Clearly, you don't deserve my respect."

"W-Wait—I didn't know he was gonna take Alice! I don't even know about his plan!"

Arthur Sigertem has never felt this afraid for a long time.

The guards pale and fall to the ground continuously, their blood sucked out of their system. They never had a chance to get to him.

The blood he gathered fluidly came together behind Sirius as he created small, round constructs that clump together, akin to magnetic steel balls. He takes one and casually flicks it to Lord Sigertem.

He watches, frozen in fear, as the ball flies to him and lands on his right leg. It disintegrated upon contact and seeped into his skin.

A moment of silence.

And then an explosion.

"Aaaah!!" Arthur Sigertem cried in pain as his leg exploded, blood spurting out.

It was a bomb!

"Painful, right? Imagine what will be left of you if I throw all of these." Sirius nonchalantly says with hundreds more of the shrapnel blood bombs behind him.

"N-No, please! Please spare me!"

Sirius looked down at him.

"My mate needs me. I have no more time to spare you."

The bombs change shape as he turns his back. The blood construct grew in size and blocked the light of the moon from Arthur Sigertem's view.

A dragon's head was formed. Roaring to the skies before dipping down to Arthur.

It opens its mouth and Sirius hears his father-in-law's final cry before another headless body falls limp.

Inside the mansion.

Sirius finds the door leading to the back. He hears a commotion and quickens his pace.

"Aaaah! No!" A woman screamed, but he knew it wasn't her. When he arrived, he saw another building off the side of the mansion's back garden. It looked less maintained than the mansion. A storage place of some sort.

The doors were open. Dante and Vito were inside, handling two women. They held them by their neck.

Just as Sirius neared the building, he spotted a brown bear further inside.

"Your Highness!"

He recognized the two women immediately. The stepmother and the stepsister. They stopped struggling and nervously avoided his gaze.

"L-Let us explain, Your Highness," said the stepmother. "We were just—"

"Where's Alice?"

The woman sharply inhaled and turned to the bear. It was growling at them and looked territorial and strong, with its body covered in scars. But he observed it closely and saw a person under its protective stance. Even more, Sirius saw a few strands of silver hair.

"What is this situation?"

"This bear seems to be protecting Lady Alice," Vito spoke. "When we arrived, this bear and a few other animals were attacking these women. Then we saw Lady Alice's condition and realized these two hurt her and the animals came to her rescue—"

"Hurt?"

Sirius stared at the bear, who growled back at him.

"If you are protecting my mate, then we are on the same side. Let me see her."

Despite his barely contained fury, he kept a relatively calm tone. Alice has very formidable friends who are better at protecting her. He's not so foolish to attack the bear.

"Your Highness!" The step-sister called to him. "Alice is useless to you. I'm more competent and powerful than her. I can shift and I have telekinesis! Alice doesn't deserve you, but I do—"

Milani choked on her words when her throat started warming up. The heat soon spread all over her body. Dante released her when he felt her skin turn inhumanely warm impossibly fast.

"Why'd you stop?" Sirius says quietly, without even sparing her a glance. "What? Is your blood boiling or something?"

Veronica's eyes widened when she saw her daughter's veins visibly turn bright red. Every vein in her body was visible, and Milani could only grip herself in confusion and fear.

Indeed.

Her blood started boiling.

The bear watched Milani and turned to look at Sirius after seeing his power.

Slowly, the bear stepped back, revealing Alice's unconscious figure.

"What are you doing to my daughter?!"

"…"

He kneeled beside Alice's head and gently cleared the hair off her face. His power sensed the multiple bruises on her body and her blood's rapid movement to clot the wounds. He placed his palm on her cheeks and helped her body heal faster with his ability. But it's not enough. Her bones are broken and dislocated.

He retracts his hand slowly. I'm sorry for being late. I will hold them responsible, for today and for all those years you endured.

"You… You lied to the entire kingdom about your illness, didn't you?!" Now the stepmother has lost her mind. "You're hiding your power! This is treason! And now you're killing my daughter!"

"You will pay for this, Prince or not!" She screams, trembling while witnessing her daughter burn.

"What you did to her… should be returned tenfold. I never want to owe someone, so I always repay what is due."
