Rowfield.

A lone man stood in front of a humble tombstone, with withered flowers placed on the stone.

"Sol lucet omnibus..." he read the carved words on the stone in a whisper. "...the sun shines on everyone."

His grip tightened on the bouquet of white tulips he brought, which lay on his side.

"The sun has shone on your daughter..."

The man smiles as a stray tear escapes his eye. It had been years since his last visit. He didn't want to keep revisiting this pain; he wanted to forget, but burying it only made the pain worse.

He felt even worse to even try to forget her. When she never did anything wrong—all she ever did was love.

"...sister."

At the palace.

"My bride stayed back today. I left too early, and she was still asleep."

Sirius heard Froilan's rapidly beating heart. His blood was almost boiling in anger. Or was it jealousy?
