The room was filled with the sweet scent of flowers as Lexi awoke the next morning, the aroma mingling with the lingering warmth of the night before. She found herself lying atop Chen Yun, her head resting on his chest. He was still asleep, his breathing steady and calm. Lexi smiled, feeling a sense of peace and contentment she had never known before.
Chen Yun stirred as she traced gentle patterns on his chest, his eyes slowly opening. The first thing he saw was Lexi's smiling face, and he couldn't help but smile back. The sight of her filled him with a sense of happiness he hadn't expected.
"Good morning," Lexi whispered, her voice soft and affectionate.
"Good morning," Chen Yun replied, his voice deep and warm.
They lay there for a moment, enjoying the quiet intimacy of the morning. Eventually, Lexi broke the silence with a mischievous grin. "You know," she teased, "I think your 'little monster' down there deserves some praise."
Chen Yun chuckled, shaking his head at her boldness. "Is that so?"
Lexi nodded, her smile growing wider. "It's very… powerful and rich. Just like you."
They were just woke up but they heard the fire alarm in the kitchen ring. Chen Yun ran to the kitchen and saw two wet girls looking at him with fear.
"Brother, you're awake!" Chen Mengmeng's eyes widened as she looked at Chen Yun. "Why are you up so early?"
"If I hadn't woke up early, wouldn't the two of you have set the house on fire? What's going on?"
"I was baking cookies and experimenting. I was going to make them for you, but…" Chen Mengmeng stuck out her tongue.
"Stop fooling around. The two of you should hurry up and take a shower. Don't catch a cold."
Chen Yun knocked on their heads before the two of them went to take a shower.
After showering, Chen Mengmeng pulled Chen Yun to the dining table. Clara then brought out a plate of biscuits.
"Brother, this is the most successful batch we've made. At the very least, the cookies have taken shape. Try it while it's hot," said Chen Mengmeng.
However, Chen Yun didn't dare compliment those black cookies' appearance.
Chen Mengmeng's words alone were scary enough!
This was the most successful batch of cookies, yet they had only taken shape! What about the first few tries? Had the cookies been directly roasted into slag?!
He picked up a piece and placed it in his mouth. After chewing for a while, he swallowed it.
Then, he gave her a thumbs up. "Not bad, not bad. Your chocolate biscuits are superb."
"I made cream cookies. They are just burnt."
Chen Yun was silent. He was also in despair and didn't dare to think about it in detail.
He was afraid of being poisoned.
Meng looked excited that her brother liked them and she also picked up one as she was about to bite it, Chen Yun interrupted, took the piece from her and hand ate it quickly, and swallowed it, "This is so good!" Meng then asked, "Bro, you could take some from the plate!! Why take it from hand?" Chen Yun laughed nervously.
Meng then again took a piece and ate it and she threw out quickly and said while drinking water, "This is gross. You lied to me, brother." Chen Yun laughed and Lexi also laughed and said, "It's ok, Mengmeng, I will teach you how to make a good and tasty cookie, Ok?" Clara and Meng then agreed and they looked happy that Lexi was going to teach them.
Chen Yun laughed with them and he checked his watch and saw it was time for some work so he then told them that he was going out and he left.
Chen Yun was thinking of starting a Music Company. He wanted to step into the music industry. But before that, he had to get an office so he had got his target locked on the newly built "Eclipse Tower" which was a height of 650 meters. It had recently become the second tallest building in the world. And now Chen Yun wanted to Eclipse Tower but cause, of course, he can't buy Burj El-Gazali (The tallest building in the world).
Chen Yun had already got an appointment with the Manager of the Tower so he was going to meet him. He got in his Ferrari and hit the road toward Eclipse Tower. That tower was so high that it could be viewed from miles away.
After a while, Chen Yun arrived at the Tower and he looked up and realized, he looked like an ant in front of an elephant. He went inside and met the Manager.
In the end, the Manager sold the Eclipse Tower to Chen Yun for $5.9 billion (double the price it was made of.) Chen Yun did the paper works and then the manager left there and now the world's second-tallest building is owned by Chen Yun.
Chen Yun then went to the control room and looked at the map of the whole building and noticed that this building had 138 floors, all enclosed by the inner layer of the glass facade. He then took the elevators to the top floor, looked around, and thought, "I think, this is a good place to have my office." He then went to every floor one by one and looked around deciding everything that would be on every floor.
...
After three hours, he finally reached back to the ground floor and he was really tired. But was quite impressed by the building and thought it was worth it purchasing it.
He then went outside, got into his car, and went back home cause he had to rest, he was really tired from doing all that checking.
