"Liya, I can practically hear you sob" Donovan said as Kaliya turned to face him, she jumped off her bed as she ran into his arms crying. She had truly missed her older brother and just seeing him made her cry more in Donovan's arm.

"I'm sorry novan, I just couldn't help it" she said as Donovan rubbed her head soothingly. It hurt him that he couldn't be there to save his little sister from ever falling into the clutches of such a family and the worst part was she fell in love with a man who almost ended her life.
