One Side Big and One Side Small

"What are you talking about?" Hu Jiao'er asked, her face slightly changed, forcing a smile. "I don't understand."

Could he have realized I'm not my sister? Impossible! He is only at the ninth level of the Body Tempering Realm, while I am a formidable True Element Realm expert. How could he possibly see through my disguise? Besides, my sister and I look almost identical. There is no difference in our voices or appearances. Even the older members of the clan often mistake us for each other. How could he possess the ability to discern the truth?

Yang Kai looked at her with a faint smile and said, "Are you unwilling to admit it?"

"Admit what? I honestly have no idea what you're talking about." Hu Jiao'er made a final attempt.

Yang Kai rubbed his forehead and said helplessly, "Let me be clear, then. You're not Hu Mei'er. I believe you are her twin sister."

Hu Jiao'er froze, then chuckled, "Why do you say that?"

This time, she didn't strongly deny it. Instead, she watched Yang Kai with interest, curious about where she had given herself away. If Yang Kai couldn't specify the details, then he was likely trying to bluff her into admitting it.

Perhaps he was still unsure and wanted her to confess first, Hu Jiao'er guessed.

"Are you testing my perception?" Yang Kai didn't get upset. He chuckled and turned to pick up the teacup he had used earlier. Taking a sip, he said, "Actually, I wasn't sure if you were Hu Mei'er, but now I am certain that you're not."

Hu Jiao'er's expression stiffened. She gritted her teeth in frustration, realizing that his words were indeed a probe. How infuriating! As a warrior in the True Element Realm, I was caught off guard by a mere Body Tempering Realm boy. This is a disgraceful failure.

Continuing to deny would be pointless. Hu Jiao'er let out a soft laugh, sat sideways on the fragrant bed, and gazed at Yang Kai with an alluring demeanor, her voice gentle, "When did you start suspecting me?"

"When I was drinking tea," Yang Kai tapped the teacup in his hand. "Though the tea's aroma was pleasant, it couldn't mask the lingering scent of a woman's fragrance on the cup. And there was a faint lipstick mark on the rim. I figured this cup must have been used recently by someone else, and that someone is Hu Mei'er."

"Just from that, you concluded I wasn't Mei'er?" Hu Jiao'er was taken aback.

"That's not the only reason," Yang Kai shook his head slowly. "The second reason was your aura. I don't believe a woman's demeanor can change so drastically in just a few days. To compliment you, Mei'er's allure is slightly immature, while yours is completely natural and innate."

"I like hearing that," Hu Jiao'er covered her mouth with a light laugh. "Go on, what else is there?"

"Third, although your body fragrance is quite similar to Mei'er's, there's a subtle difference. Her scent is sweet, while yours has a more delicate elegance."

"You cheeky brat!" Hu Jiao'er's cheeks turned crimson. Yang Kai's frank remarks made her lose composure. Recalling the lengths she went to test him, she felt an urge to slap him into oblivion.

"The fourth reason..." Yang Kai ignored Hu Jiao'er's piercing glare and continued.

"There's more..." Hu Jiao'er was stunned. She never expected that a mere Body Tempering Realm boy would notice so many flaws in her disguise. She thought it was flawless.

"Hehe, the fourth reason is your injury," Yang Kai pointed at Hu Jiao'er's foot. "It appears to be a sprain, but it's actually an internal injury caused by your own technique. This is the biggest giveaway. Although Mei'er is a young girl, she's still a martial artist. How could she easily sprain her foot like that?"

"That was my oversight," Hu Jiao'er nodded lightly. At the time, she only focused on luring Yang Kai and didn't consider the deeper implications.

Looking up and seeing Yang Kai still deep in thought, Hu Jiao'er said with feigned annoyance, "Don't tell me you noticed more flaws."

Hu Jiao'er was unwilling to accept it. How could something she considered perfect be riddled with so many holes? And yet, his analysis was so logical that it was irrefutable.

This cheeky boy is really irritating!

If he dared to mention another flaw, I'd definitely teach him a lesson. He doesn't know how to read the room.

"Then I won't say any more," Yang Kai furrowed his brows.

Hearing this, Hu Jiao'er became displeased. Her eyes turned icy, yet she maintained a charming smile as she insisted, "Speak!"

"I still think it's best not to," Yang Kai shook his head.

Hu Jiao'er snapped, "I said speak! How can you leave someone hanging like this?"

Yang Kai chuckled, "I fear if I say it, it might anger you."

Hu Jiao'er's eyes narrowed dangerously, "Anger me? Then it must be something unpleasant."

"Indeed."

"That makes me even more curious to hear it."

"But you must promise not to get angry."

"If you don't speak, how would I know whether I would get angry or not?"

"Then I suppose I'll remain silent."

"You... you don't know how to back down in a disagreement with a woman, do you?" Hu Jiao'er was secretly fuming. This boy seems clever but is actually quite naive, not understanding the subtleties of human interaction.

"Backing down might cost me dearly. I fear... I'm no match for you," Yang Kai replied earnestly.

"At least you have some sense!" Hu Jiao'er smirked triumphantly, walking gracefully from the bed to the table, where she sat with a flirtatious glance at Yang Kai. After a moment's reflection, she said, "Fine, I promise I won't get angry with you."

"Also, promise not to hit me."

"Alright!" Hu Jiao'er gritted her teeth and agreed, "Tell me, what is this final flaw?"

Yang Kai responded seriously, "In truth, it's not really a flaw; it's just that you and Mei'er are not entirely alike."

"Where are we different?" Hu Jiao'er asked curiously. She and her sister were practically identical twins, so how could there be any differences?

Yang Kai smacked his lips, hesitated for a moment, then stammered, "Your, uh, posterior... it's a bit uneven, unlike Mei'er, whose figure is perfectly symmetrical."

As soon as he uttered these words, Hu Jiao'er's face flushed bright red, and a powerful energy of the True Element Realm burst forth, causing the winds to howl fiercely within the room.

"Remember your promise!" Yang Kai reminded calmly, unfazed by the turmoil around him.

Hu Jiao'er's formidable aura suddenly subsided, leaving her trembling with rage but unable to lash out. Her silver teeth nearly shattered from clenching so hard, and after a long pause, she slammed the table furiously and shouted, "Nonsense!"

For a young lady to resort to such vulgar language, it was clear how furious Hu Jiao'er was.

That wretched boy dared to comment on the unevenness of my figure. Is that something a man should say? How could he claim that I'm asymmetrical? My figure is perfectly balanced!

Cheeky boy, don't you know what it means to ask for trouble?
