The Cost of a Glance1

At this moment, Su Yan was clad only in a chest binder and underpants. Her back, as white as jade, her rounded and shapely buttocks, and her long, slender legs were fully exposed to the air, her pristine skin laid bare to Yang Kai's gaze.

Even in the dim light of night, Yang Kai could see her clearly.

The curve of her back was perfection itself, with her delicate shoulders exuding an enticing sheen, and her slender waist accentuating her moderately rounded posterior. Her translucent skin was breathtaking, and the tight underpants clinging to her bottom only fueled the imagination.

Due to the whiteness of both her skin and attire, it initially appeared as though she was entirely unclothed.

Perhaps having heard the noise behind her, she placed one hand across her chest, turned partially towards the door, and held a pristine nightgown in the other hand, evidently in the midst of changing.

Their gazes met in the air. Yang Kai's expression was one of astonishment, lingering momentarily on her fair and full form. Su Yan's beautiful eyes flashed with a hint of murderous intent, her shoulders trembling slightly.

She had seen his crimson eyes! They were like wolves prowling in the snow or hungry specters lusting after her pure form, wandering unabashedly over her pristine body. Moreover, the man opposite was breathing heavily, as if poised to pounce.

"Crack, crack, crack..." An icy frost rapidly spread outwards from Su Yan, her crimson lips pressed together, her eyes cold with a glacial fury.

Yang Kai finally realized the gravity of the situation, quickly turning and accelerating to his utmost limit to flee the scene.

His speed was astonishing; within mere breaths, he burst out of the room. But before he could orient himself, a loud crash echoed behind him. A large hole appeared in the wall, and a white figure flew out, landing before Yang Kai with an expression that combined icy coldness with a touch of anger.

Yang Kai took several cautious steps back, raising his guard, his mind racing to find an explanation. But upon reflection, he knew he was beyond justification; nothing he said could undo the damage.

No girl would tolerate being seen in such a state without seeking retribution!

Su Yan had already donned her attire and was staring coldly at Yang Kai. Although she had been enraged to the point of considering violence, she realized Yang Kai likely hadn't meant to intrude and probably hadn't expected her to return from Blackwind Trade City and stay in the room opposite.

It was, after all, a misunderstanding! Yet even if it was a misunderstanding, Su Yan could not simply let it go.

She was waiting for an explanation—one that would soothe her anger.

But the man opposite, who had seen her exposed, remained silent, his eyes still glaring red, exuding a palpable aura of battle intent, showing no sign of shame or fear.

Very well, I don't need your explanation. I simply want to vent my frustration by giving you a good beating!

An ice flower materialized silently at Su Yan's fingertips, and with a flick of her hand, it spiraled rapidly towards Yang Kai.

As it flew, the ice flower expanded with the wind, growing to the size of a basin by the time it reached Yang Kai, and its speed was tremendous.

Yang Kai did not dare to delay. He unleashed his True Yang Qi, delivering a punch to the ice flower.

His fist ached; the ice flower's cold attribute was in direct conflict with the Yang attribute of his True Yang Qi. The punch shattered the basin-sized ice flower into fragments.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... The shattered ice flower transformed into countless ice needles, raining down upon Yang Kai.
