Jaune's form had majorly improved after the weeks of practice with Pyrrha, let alone all the instruction he was getting from upper classman. Right now, all that was left was for him to find his semblance.
"This, is the part, where you lose." Cardin was pushing down on a kneeling Jaune who had his shield in-between them. "..." He kept his mouth shut, which was good. I properly beat that into him then, he isn't a Legendary Devil Hunter, nor does he have the power necessary to allow for such frivolities as a Provocation.
Cardin clearly wasn't happy that Jaune didn't respond, and I was about ready to hit that fuck with a truck. But luckily for him, the muscle Jaune started to pack on came in handy and allowed the shorter boy enough leg power with the proper foot work and body movement to push off the ground and get his enemy on unstable feet.
Cardin took a step back, surprise filling his eyes for a moment, before Jaune Capitalized on it. He kept low, stepping into the taller boy's guard and hitting the bottom of his chin with the pommel of his sword, before following up with a quick 2 slash combo. One to the shoulder, one to the knee.
I glanced up, watching Cardin's aura drain on the TV Screen in real time when Jaune pushed his advantage with quick, fast slashes. He pushed Cardin back, forcing the other boy to use his Mace to deflect the metal of his sword.
I blinked, groaning as the world was replaced by that stupid SCP 3008 look alike. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" I noted recently my voice took on less of a nasally quality, but still kept that classic Vergil cadence.
I watched as Alphonse leaned back away from his blank TV, and he was uncharacteristically not smiling. Something I really didn't like, because that man had a perpetual smile every time I saw him to blow off steam from having my ass kicked nigh-thousands of times by Ozpin.
"Well, put quite simply." He snapped, and I found my self moved into the seat next to him as he let out the air in his lungs and just let himself relax against the leather couch. "We've got a problem." I raised a brow, waiting for him to elaborate.
"I have a selection of universes that are mine to fuck with and observe from here." Well, as far as I'm aware, I was the first time he's actually fucked with them. "And you'd be right, you're my first~" He crooned about it, teasing like he normally was, but that peppy little edge wasn't there at the moment.
"Okay, and?" The TV switched on, showing a home menu with multiple different worlds, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and bleach to name a few that I could see. "They're technically all time looped and when the story ends they reset back to zero." That makes sense, have the story basically be an 'Infinite Loops Project' fanfiction that was exactly the same content as the original story so he could view them over and over.
"So how do I factor into that? I'm quite curious if the story will continue without me, and if my soul will be recycled for the same story over and over." He chuckled, the lightness back in his tone. "Popcorn?" He offered me a bowl that appeared from thin air.
"I'm good, would like an explanation please." He waved me off, selecting RWBY on the TV and letting the channel load.
"Timelines are such a finicky thing, but if you must know. I intended to give you some breathing room between incarnations." Well, seems I was going to be this fuckers plaything for a long time then. "It's not so bad, I'll give you a 401k and stock options."
"Hah. Hah. Very funny." I even slow clapped a little. At this rate, I'd never reach my eternal rest.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, for now, interloper shit." The screen flickered, showing a white haired teen wielding what looked like Gilgamesh beating the shit out of some hunters. If I had to gander as to what specific identity he stole was, I would say he was parading around as Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5 if I correctly recognized that shirt.
He had superior everything; Speed, Strength, weapon. It was like watching a beast play with his meal. I watched as he tore through the group, throwing them off balance and grabbing one by the leg with both hands- I'm kinda glad the video was muted, because I'm pretty sure my ears would hurt from that grown man's screams.
The interloper broke said Hunters leg in half like a pretzel stick, and even helped himself to some blood like a regular demon might if it was trying to collect more power. "From the way you've described things, you should have more than enough power to just smite him." I side eyed Alphonse, pinky finger slipping into my mouth. "So why don't you." An old habit of mine, but the familiar pressure of biting my own flesh helping me stay grounded at the moment.
Alphonse gained his smile back, the regular one I normally saw him with. If a bit strained. "An old friend of mine decided to pop on by and saw me watching you. So we made a bet." He paused, and I already understood the basic terms.
"Normally, another god shouldn't be able to access my worlds, as that could be a vector to escape." He rolled his hand and eyes. "But your 'Old Friend' made a bet, cutting that avenue off?" He nodded, turning the TV and fully turning towards me.
"Correct, it was a personal moment of weakness, really." He sighed, shrugging again. And it just dawned on me that the man is a lot more shrewd than I thought, rather than outright tell me… He'd rather I observe and come to my own conclusions. "And I won't correct you."
This annoying shit…
"Since it seems like you're content to have your fun with me, you'd rather not have this interloper despite the bet?" He nodded sagely, miming pulling beard hair to a fine point. "So, clean up duty?"
I blinked and was back in the stands of students.
I stood making my way to the door, Glynda glanced at me but returned to the match. The hallways never felt so empty as I made my way to Ozpin's office, for I was a woman on a mission today.
Gilgamesh was a Devil arm, and despite being at the academy I could feel it, I'm sure I could convince Ozpin of my case, an artifact from my world somehow sleeping through dimensional boundaries and finding it's way here to corrupt someone.

*CRUNCH*
I stood at the edge of the clearing, not having arrived fast enough to save any of the Hunters my… Prey? No, sounds rather unlike me. I supposed my enemy would be fine. But these line of thought is not getting me anywhere.
Ryuji was currently crouched above a corpse, Gilgamesh still out and about, as he raised fist full of flesh and blood after fist full to his mouth.
I was able to size him up better while this close, rather than observing through a TV screen.
"Huh…" He paused, hand mid-way to delivering another mouthful of viscera. "I certainly didn't expect to meat you this soon." I could hear his joints and bones creak as he leaned so far back to see me, his head was touching the ground. "You look like a hot piece of ass, shame I'll have to rip you to shreds." His grin so large it spanned from ear to and sent a chill down my spine.
"You've clearly given in to…" My mouth ran itself before I could properly come up with a witty comeback. "Sorry, I can't really tell, what demon did you fuse with? Was it one of the Sparda's?" His eyes bulged at my words, and I started to slowly circle him.
His back arched, head staying on the ground for a moment before he sprung to full attention, his eyes never leaving me, or more specifically, my assets. "Neither, I couldn't rack enough points up for either from my Patron." He cracked his neck manually with his hand, his tongue lapping at his lips as he started to stretch. "But I got the next best thing." Gilgamesh materialized on his hands and legs, the mask slowly materializing on his face.
"Malphas!" I could feel his magic move as a portal appeared under his feet and disappearing into the deep purple.
"Shit!" I turned around, Rebellion slicing through the air to cut him in half horizontally- "Oof-" His fist planted directly into my stomach, the force causing the very air around us to shudder and blood spew from my mouth. I watched his grin twist into a lecherous smile while blood rushed to his cheeks.
Faster than my mind could comprehend, he slammed another fist, this time directly into my chest, and forced me to take a step back. "Fu-" I was cut off, his foot slamming me into the side of my head and forcing me into a disorienting 360.
I was pretty sure I had a mild concussion at that point when I started to see 3 of him with their legs- "Ope-" My body was finally catching up to the speed of the battle, my legs bending slightly before I shot off like a rocket backwards. The ground rumbled, and a crack formed from the pure force he put into the kick.
"Oh ho~ You actually dodged that?" I took a moment to breath, my head was spinning, and his voice was like nails on a black-board to my ears. "And here I was hoping for an easy win." He shrugged with that smug grin of his.
"You… I don't like you at all." The words came out slightly slurred as I recovered.
He laughed at me, a full-bodied one, as tears started falling from his eyes. "Ahh~ Well said, Missus Obvious!" My grip on Rebellion grew tighter. "But I think it's pretty clear you aren't going to win." He started mimicking Jet Stream Sam thinking, even resting a hand on an imaginary Murasama. "Tell you what, it would be a crime to kill such a hot piece of ass as yourself… So why don't you join my Harem? Be the first girl and primary wife, eh?"
…
I stared at him with a deadpan, he was at full mast, eyes looking away and tongue licking his lips. "Oh, I can just imagine the fun we'll have in the bedroom~ There are tons of kinky shit we could get up too~" I… Was he seriously that fucking horny? "So whattaya say?"
"No." Just stay talking, stay distracted for a little bit longer. "I'd rather not at all procreate with a parasite like yourself." I pointed the tip of my blade at him, standing tall and defiant. "Tch- What a shame, and here I was hoping I could pop out a couple Sparda-lings for myself to fuc-"
"NOW!" Gintarou's ink exploded out of the ground, turning himself into a sea urchin like thing that stabbed through the ground and trees alike. Unfortunately for me, Parasite had dodged the blow by jumping through his Malphas portal.
Gintarou returned to me, curling around in font of me defensively. Though I had to admit, my very own black fox made from ink standing with me and being the size of a Tibetan Mastiff… Not the time, I have to focus on the fight.
Last time, I hadn't been prepared from this. "What!?" This time, though, I was ready for it. "Cease." His foot struggled against the flat of Rebellion. Though, that was because he was practically standing on the blade because of my block. I pushed against the ground with more force, shattering the earth and sending him straight up into a spinning Gintarou.
"Slice'em!!" I called out as Gintarou sharpened in the air, clashing against the metal gauntlets of Gilgamesh. "Athena!" The ink slithered off my left arm, forming a large black owl that grabbed my shoulders and lifted me into the air.
I descended on the Parasite like a rod from god, pushing as much force as I could into the Helmet Breaker. "You bitch-" I cut him off, twisting my whole body off his hands and slamming my foot into his face. "Augh!" I pressed the attack, lungeing toward him and pushing his hands up into the air. "Desist." Stab after stab, my should felt like it was going to dislocate from the force of my blows.
Gintarou slid between his legs as Parasite took a step back, he launched himself forward with a powerful straight. "Pardon me." He landed short, and I could see him react to the pain of over extending his punch. "Certainly never show boxed, did you?" I was slithering around him, the rolling black viscous ink providing ample speed to make him just barely miss his kick.
"I'M GOING TO MAKE YOUR CORPSE INTO MY OWN PERSONAL ON-" Athena twirled in the air before dive-bombing him, slamming directly into his head and shutting him up. "If the fool would persist in his folly he would become wise." It only now occurred to me, that Nidhogg was also a parasitic lifeform.
"The fuck are you talking about, bitch!?" It would seem, despite being a person mixed with a Demon from the DMC mythos… He wasn't quite familiar with the playable ones that drove the story.
I slowed to a stop, stepping off of my Fox and outstretching my arm for my Owl. "One thought, fills immensity…" I felt like a weight had stepped off my shoulders. I stood, watching the blood drip from my Parasite's nose.
"I'll make you pay!" He opened a portal again, Athena lifting me off my feet and into the air. I watched as he executed a display of power with a flurry of powerful kicks. "Fuck! Where the hell did that bitch go!?" His head whipped back and forth he before he looked up at the sound of an engine revving.
I dropped through the air, grabbing Cavaliere and revving the engine to get his attention, my back tire slamming into his face, launching him into the ground as I continued past him into an Akria Slide.
"THAT'S IT!" Demonic power welled in the Parasite, gathering around him in purple rings. "FUCK YOU!" He copied Nero, his whole Devil Trigger moment and flip off stance. "SHOCK!" And I started backing away too late, having spent a moment too long gawking at the sheer audacity he had to copy the one person to beat both Dante and Vergil.
I blinked, and that was all the time it took to arrive in front of me with a fist raised to the air. Gilgamesh, gleaming on his hands and feet, venting air from his elbow- "Retreat!" Gintarou having jumped in the way and pushing me back out of the attack.
Athena swooped down and grabbed me, letting me see the inky black ball start to form. "YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY JUST YET!" The ground exploded from the force of the Parasite's jump.
A purple cone of energy formed around him and splattered Athena across the destroyed clearing. Her ball settling right beside Gintarou's.
I flipped through the air, landing on my feet and dragging Rebellion through the ground to slow me down. "COME 'ERE SWEETCHEEKS." The Parasite soared through the air, fist cocked back to meet me.
"Don't get cocky, Parasite." My hand raised to the sky, fingers at the ready.
This was going to hurt… "VON LYCAON!" I could feel my demonic energies move in response to my call, my finger's snap reverberating as from the depths of my soul arrived my salvation in this fight.
Rather than the perfect attendant I had been expecting, I instead was graced by the form of a wolf, very much the size of the Great Grey Wolf Sif. He was bone white, with dark black inky straps fastened around him and covering one eye.
"FUCKING FURRIES!" Parasite didn't have time to say anything more than that, his full attention being taken by the gigantic tail sweeping him out of the air and spiking him into the ground.
"This is only going to get harder, you sure you're up to it?" My hands rested on the balls of ink, my very presence speeding up the reformation process.
"MORE THAN YOU KNOW!"
I ignored the parasite budding his head in, we'd both be on timers for this, but he's presumably going to have the DT state longer than I can hold onto Von Lycaon. Turning around, I pulled Berryl into my hands and lined up the short.
"Ascend!"
Von Lycaon spun, tail picking them up and launching the Parasite into the air, I forced the air out of my lungs, hands steadying and- *KABOOM* My baby barked, and I got to watch the Parasite fall ass over head and crash into the waiting maw of my own 'Nightmare'
"Fall to Hell."
His jaws shut, blood exploding out between his teeth.
"Spit."
At my command, the broken body of the Parasite limply fell to the ground with a disgustingly wet squelch sound. Athena and Gintarou having finally reformed rushed at the twitching body, one tearing it to shreds and the other launching gusts of wind sharp enough to cut.
"Urgh-" I clenched my chest, heart hammering as I dropped Von Lycaon's summoning. "Shit-shit-shit." It felt like my heart was being stabbed and shredded into tiny little bits. I struggled to breath, falling to the ground.
I looked up, seeing a shining ball of light from above the parasite's corpse. "Help…" Gintarou appeared at my side, catching an arm around his neck and dragging me forward. "Thanks…" I reached forward, watching the light float to my hands before finally passing out.
