FIRST DAY AT ELITES ACADEMY 1

Jasmine's POV

"Buzzzzzzzzz buzzzzzzzzz"

"Ughhhh" I said annoyed at the fact that I wasn't able to get enough sleep.

I lazily got up from my small sized bed and headed to the bathroom to prepare for my big day.

"Ooooopppssss"

"Pardon my manners"

"Hi, I'm Jasmine but my mom and friends call me Jazzy for short. I'm the only child of my parents. My dad's late though and I live with my mom in a small apartment in Folks neighbourhood in Country A. I'm 16 and I'm almost in my final year of high school."

"I finally got a scholarship to study at the prestigious Elites Academy and I'm sooo excited since today's my first day. I'm not really surprised about getting the scholarship though. Not to brag buttt I'm pretty smart. I always come first in all my subjects during every exam,test and the likes. My academic performance also superceded the requirements of EA."

"I may be really smart and all but I'm not a nerd at all. I'm really bubbly but only when I'm around people I know. I'm a bit shy though."

"Jazzy get your self off that bed right now" Mom yelled from downstairs. She must think I'm still in bed.

"I'm up mum. I'll be down in a bit." I yelled back.

"Gotta go"

I head to my small bathroom in my small room to have my bath.

30 minutes later

I'm out of the bathroom

"Yeah, I love to take my time in the bathroom"

I applied my lotion, applied my hair cream and applied a bit of makeup. Just powder and a little lip gloss. I then put on the uniform the academy sent me and I wore my black boots. It's the only one I have anyways. I wrapped my really long black hair in a messy bun.I then headed downstairs and found my mum sitting at the dining looking as pretty as always in her apron. I'm sure she just finished making breakfast.

"Took you long enough. Come have your breakfast and leave immediately." Mum said obviously scolding me.

"Buh I still wanna spend time with you before leaving mom." I said teasingly.

"First you spend eternity in the bathroom, now you want to sit and chat with me. Do you have any idea what the time is? Uhn missy" my mom said.

"I know mom. You don't have to worry. There's no way I'll be late on my first day okay." I said to her.

"You know I'm just worried my dear. You finally got the scholarship you've always wanted after saving up for the form for so long. I don't want anything to happen on your first day. That's why I want you to take your sandwich now and head to the academy immediately. You can have it on your way, okay." My mom said trying to persuade me to leave for the academy early.

"Buh mom, it's just 7:55 and the academy is just a 10 minutes walk from here. Thanks to my athletic skills, I can get to the academy after walking for just 5 minutes" I said boasfully

"Fine then missy. Have it your way. I'll be leaving for work soon. I already had breakfast so make sure to lock the doors and windows when you leave okay." My mom said while taking off her apron.

"Okay mum. Bye,love you" I said to her blowing her a kiss and she dramatically caught it and left.

"Oooohhhh mum, she's such a drama queen" I chuckled and ate my sandwich hurriedly

"Well I'm off to the academy now"

After walking for 8 minutes, I finally arrived at the academy and I really can't find any word to describe what I'm seeing right now.

"Ooo mmyyyy Gooodddd. Am I dreaming?" I asked myself mentally while gawking at the mansion sized academy in from of me with my mouth slightly ajar.

"Look a fly is about to get in" someone said from behind me.

"I quickly closed my mouth and looked back to see who said that"

"You must be new here right?" The really cute girl in front of me said.

"Uhm yeah" I replied her in my shy and timid voice.

"Great. We're friends now okay" The girl said again.

"How could we be friends just like that. She doesn't even know my name neither does she know my class. I think she's crazy" I said obviously in my mind.

"You don't even know my name so how are we friends?" I asked her out of curiosity.

"Well, it's also my first day here. I'm Tiffany by the way. What's your name?" She said.

"Oooh. I'm Jasmine but you can call me Jazzy." I replied her and smiled cutely.

"Okay Jazzy. How about we find our way to the Principal's office together" Tiffany suggested.

"Okay" I said.

We headed towards the main entrance of the academy. We both gawked shamelessly at the huge building painted in all white. It was like paradise. There were beautiful statues at the side of the walk path and beautiful flowers were also planted by the side walk. There was also a really huge water fountain at the center. It was all just so beautiful to behold

After walking around for like 10 minutes, we still couldn't find the Principal's office.

We entered the hallways and started to wander about still in search. The floor in the hallways were tiled and shiny. We could almost see our own reflection.

We got to a dead end and we say something that looked like a shelf. It was a shelf buh it was filled with soo many awards. Awards gotten from so many competitions. I doubt there's room for more.

"We've been walking for ages Jazzy, why not ask someone for help" Tiffany suggested

"Okay then" I said and we started searching for the right person to ask.

Just as we were walking through the hallways, we heard some noise coming from the far end of the hallway

I wonder what's going on over there. Tiffany pulled me to the crowd to see what was happening.

I really didn't get anything. All I saw was a group of boys heading into the hallway.

A lot of girls started screaming, some even passed out and I started to understand what exactly was happening.

The boys who just walked in are dressed like bad boys and I'm sure they are.

They are 3 in number. The guy in the middle must be their leader.

I must admit, they look really cute in their uniform. The one in the middle has really black hair with a bit of gold at the tip. He had a pair of dangling ear rings on his right ear which made him look really really cute. Even I didn't realize when I started drooling.

I was awoken from my thoughts when Tiffany pulled me back a bit.

"What's going there? Who are they?" They don't seem to be following the academy's rules. Shouldn't they be kicked out?"I asked Tiffany all at once.

"How would I know. It also my first day here you know" she said

"Ooh" I replied

"But I think that's Jayden Jones" she replied with a squeak

"Jayden who now" I asked her

"Woah woah guurrll, don't tell me you don't know who Jayden Jones is?" She asked looking at me strangely

I won't even deny the fact that I don't know him. Never even heard of him.

"Well I don't " I told her and she suddenly feigned anger "How can you not know him? I mean he's the talk of all the girls in Country A and many other countries. He's the first son of the Jones family" she explained

"The Jones family?? Like JJ designs group? You mean he's the son of the CEO of JJ Group Designs?" I bombarded her with questions

"Yeeessss. He's only their son but he's also the heir of JJ Groups Designs" she said

"I didn't realise when a woow left my mouth. I really can't believe I attend the same school with him."

"Shouldn't we get going? We still need to find the Principal's office" I reminded Tiffany who was still busy gawking at the boys

"Ooooh yeah. I totally forgot about that" Tiffany said

We just turned around to continue our search when I bumped into someone. No, someone bumped into me

"Hey you low life, are you blind or what?" Said a girl who was also putting on the academy's uniform but she had too much make-up on.

"I should ask you that instead. You're the one who bumped into me." I said already getting pissed off

I may be shy and appear timid buh I've got a really bad temper. I didn't even notice that all eyes were on us now

"How dare you talk back at me uhn?" The Barbie doll said

Before I could say anything else, I felt my side cheek go numb in the blink of an eye.

That girl just slapped me. How dare she

All the students in the hallway started whispering amongst themselves. Some stared at me with pity while some stared at me with disgust. I guess I just made lots of enemies on my first day

"Jasmine, are you okay?" Tiffany asked concerned

"Yeah I'm fine" I said still holding on to my affected cheek

I was about to say something to the girl who just hit me when a heard a deep voice from behind me. When I turned around to see who just spoke, it was none other than Jayden Jones. I was really surprised to see him right in front of me.

"Apologise to her right now" Jayden said in a rather commanding tone

The whispers in the hallway got louder and I started to feel a bit uneasy. Tiffany and I just stood there watching the scene between the two of them unfold

"What do you mean apologize Jay, this ugly low life here had the audacity to bump into me" she lied

"You bumped into me not the other way round" I defended myself

"Don't make me repeat myself Stephanie, apologise to her now" Jayden said sounding angry this time

"Why are you yelling at me because of this ugly thing uhn? The girl, Stephanie said to Jayden and tried to touch his face

He suddenly pushed her hands away before they even landed on his face

"Get those filthy hands of yours off me. Apologise to her now or I'll make you suffer" Jayden said obviously annoyed by her act already

"Look here witch, I don't know what kind of spell you cast on my Jayden but get one thing straight,as long as I'm in this academy, you'll never be at peace. Mark my words" Stephanie said to me before leaving the hallway with her minions

I wasn't actually expecting her to apologise to me so I'm not surprised at all

"Stop right there Stephanie" Jayden yelled

Stephanie stopped immediately and turned around. She hadn't really gone that far

"Let me make it clear to you now. She's mine okay and no one has the right to bully her except me" Jayden said

Wait what, did I just hear him correctly?

"What do you mean by that Jay?" Stephanie asked also confused

"She's mine so stay away from her. No one in this academy as the right to bully her or touch her. Only I have that right. Whoever defies me will pay dearly" Jayden said

"What the heck is going on?" Tiffany asked me as she stares at me obviously seeking answers

"I knew you wouldn't embarrass me for this ugly thing over here" Stephanie said as she ran to meet Jayden and stared at me with so much hate and disgust

"I give you my word, I won't touch her. I wouldn't want to annoy you. She's your prey after all" Stephanie said smirking at me

"See you in class Jay" she said as she smiled seductively at Jayden

I think she likes him. I couldn't care less

Just as she left, Jayden walked up to me. I got a bit scared and started to walk backwards until my back came in contact with the cold wall. He then closed the distance between us and leaned down to my ear and whispered something

"You don't have to worry about anything okay. You're my prey now and I promise to make you suffer for what you did to me okay" Jayden said to me and it sent shivers down my spine

"Wha.. what did I do to you? I mean I've never met you before in my entire life so how could I have offended you?" I asked not understanding any of what he just said

"Looks like you have a really poor memory" he said then turned around to leave with his boys

I stood there shocked and lost in my own thoughts

"What was that all about Jazzy?" Tiffany asked coming to my side

"I really don't know either Tiffany. Let's just find the Principal's office" I said to her

"Okay but I have a bad feeling about all what just happened now. I didn't think we would encounter bullies on our first day" Tiffany said looking sad

"Hey it's not your fault okay. We were bound to run into them sooner or later" I said to her

We asked a girl who was standing close by for directions to the Principal's office and thank goodness she was nice enough to lead us there.

We finally met the principal and he gave us the necessary things we needed and he called someone to take us to our class

A few minutes later, a boy knocked on the door and the came in. The principal then told us to follow him. We thanked him and left his office. The boy who was leading us happened to be a senior who was in his final year already. He didn't really talk much and just left after taking us to class.

When we opened the door, we found a teacher writing on the maker board.

"Ooh there you girls are" A really pretty and young woman in her 30's said as she signalled us to come forward

"Class, these are your new classmates. Come here girls and introduce yourselves to the class" she said

"Hey guys, I'm Tiffany. I hope we get along well" Tiffany said smiling

I just stood in front of the class and stared at them for a while before speaking up

"Uhm, I'm Jasmine" I said and went back to meet Tiffany hurriedly

I hate standing in front of a crowd

"You girls find yourselves seats. Okay class, shall we continue?" The teacher Miss Riley said

"Yes ma'am" the class echoed

Tiffany and I were lucky to find spare seats so we sat next to each other.We had just settled down and started taking notes when we heard some girls whispering amongst themselves. They were talking about what had happened at the hallway earlier.

Could this day get any worse

Just as the teacher was about rounding up, the door suddenly opened and a group of boys barged in as if they owned the place. They were non other than Jayden and his friends.The boys didn't even acknowledge the presence of the teacher. Jayden suddenly looked around the classroom obviously searching for something. He smirked immediately his eyes landed on me.They walked right towards ME AND TIFFANY. Ooohhh noooo
