A young man walked through the streets of the Salvatoris Private Education Complex, a school created by GU to prepare humanity's future pioneers. A Salvatoris school had been established on every planet except the Moon, which now served as a military base. Alexander was at the Salvatoris school on Mars, renowned for housing the greatest minds of the Salvatoris project. The minimum requirement for entry was a soul power of 20 at birth, making it the school with the fewest students. In addition to preparing them in the most advanced breeding, farming, and agricultural techniques, which were supposed to be the core of their curriculum, they were also taught about science, politics, and military tactics, despite not being originally planned.
The increase in human soul power had unexpectedly led to much greater physical and cerebral enhancements compared to animals. Every subject in the Salvatoris project was a genius far surpassing any previously known in humanity. Consequently, GU decided not only to train them in exploiting resources with their newfound abilities but also to mold them into scientific, political, and military geniuses capable of leading humanity to its highest peaks.
Back at the Salvatoris school on Mars, the young man, Alexander, a 17-year-old standing at 7 feet 2 inches with an athletic build and piercingly intelligent eyes, headed to his advanced genetic engineering class. This course focused on molecular and cellular genetic manipulation for the modification and enhancement of living species, including humans. Despite being at the cutting edge of current scientific research, it was just one of many courses for Salvatoris students. Even though it was called a course, it was more of a research collaboration with specialized scientists, where students had almost caught up with the researchers on the subject.
As he approached the laboratory door, his gait exuded a noble and proud demeanor. His waist-length pure white hair was tied at the nape to prevent interference. In his hypnotically gray eyes, one could discern ambition and determination for the life ahead. In a week, he would turn 18, awaken his own dimension, complete his training, and be free to pursue his ambitions, whether creating his own business or entering politics. He would finally be free from the constraints of youth.
Upon entering the classroom, all researchers turned towards him, knowing it was his usual time to arrive. In their eyes, one could see respect and acknowledgment of who he was. He had joined this "course" four months ago and within three months had caught up with and surpassed both scientists and fellow students, becoming the new research director of the laboratory. What was most impressive was that he dedicated only one day a week to this research. The rest of the week, he was involved in three other research endeavors where similar achievements were repeated. He focused on each subject for only six months before moving on, allowing him to achieve an unprecedented level in at least eight domains within a year.
The other three days of the week each focused on a crucial element of his future life. One day was dedicated to studying everything related to preparing for the exploitation of his dimensional land based on data collected from research animals. There was a military course, studying military tactics and command, from firearms to mastery of various vehicles such as space warships. The final day was a day of rest, often spent following current affairs, analyzing current policies, and engaging in political discussions with former officials and ministers at the school.
In addition to this overloaded schedule, he dedicated himself daily to a special sports program that granted him total mastery of his body and unparalleled physical fitness. His physical condition was such that calling him superhuman would not do him justice.
After briefly acknowledging the various scientists present in the lab with a nod, he headed towards his independent workspace. Upon arriving, he was slightly surprised to see Nicolas and Juliette, two members of the Pantheon group he had started creating when he was 6 years old. Nicolas, a 14-year-old teenager, and Juliette, a 12-year-old girl, were the two individuals who had achieved the highest soul scores after him. Nicolas had reached 38 and Juliette 39. He had recruited them as soon as they joined the Salvatoris project education complex at the age of 5. He named his group Pantheon, after ancient legends from a time when many gods were still believed in. His greatest ambition was to elevate humans to a level where he and the Pantheon members would be considered gods by the rest of humanity. His group was highly exclusive, with fewer than 100 members. However, the minimal criterion for eligibility was a soul score of 30, making it prestigious to join because it represented the future elite of humanity, all members assured of excelling in their disciplines and shaping the future of the human species.
He greeted them with a handshake before warmly and authoritatively asking, with a hint of skepticism, the reason for their presence. "The director has called all those awakening their souls in a week to come to the conference room; the meeting starts in 5 minutes. You shouldn't dawdle," Juliette said, looking at him with her light green eyes. "You're lucky; you'll finally get out of this stifling place," Nicolas complained. "I still have over 3 years to wait before I can leave here," he finished on a discouraged note, feigning tears and wiping an invisible tear from his cheek.
After finishing wiping away this invisible tear, his sad demeanor disappeared, replaced by a cheerful attitude. He then proudly and paternally told Alex, "However, I'm proud to see my little Alex finally taking flight. All these years taking care of you were not in vain; don't disappoint me, my little one."
He had barely finished his sentence when Juliette delivered a sharp blow to his head. "Stop talking nonsense, idiot. Alex will be late because of you."
Observing their interaction, Alex burst out laughing and briefly chatted with them before swiftly leaving the laboratory. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, he had just enough time to arrive on time at the conference room.
He arrived promptly, a few seconds early, and quickly made his way to one of the seats in the conference room to settle in. Just after he sat down, the door beside the stage opened, and the school director, Alfred Rolist, a renowned psychologist known as the world's best, walked towards the podium prepared in advance for his speech. After settling in, the 160-year-old director turned his gaze to the students present in the room. He took his time, scanning all the geniuses present who represented the future and hope of humanity. His gaze lingered longer on Alex, who met his gaze, the two men seeming to communicate through their eyes. Alex was aware of the weight resting on his shoulders. Humanity's overpopulation had worsened in recent years, chaos gripping several parts of the world, and famine claiming thousands of lives daily. Living conditions were becoming increasingly harsh for the lower and lower-middle classes of society, struggling to find stable employment or housing to meet their needs.
The director began his speech a few minutes after entering the crowded room filled with thousands of students, representing humanity's last solution to solve current issues in a stable and sustainable manner. Mentally reviewing the key points of his speech, the director began to speak.
"Salvatoris students, you represent the dawn of a new era. The GU has placed its final hopes in you, providing all possible resources for your development. It is not an exaggeration to say that at this stage, you represent humanity's last hope for peacefully resolving the afflictions plaguing our solar system. However, I have no doubt about your capabilities. Everyone in this room today represents the pinnacle of humanity, whether in knowledge or ability. In a week, your dimensional land will open, allowing humanity access to a new food source. This will provide us with the foundation to combat famine and the ensuing economic crisis. Many lives depend on your success, and you must approach your future task with seriousness and rigor."
"The GU has provided our school with a vast array of equipment resulting from the latest research to facilitate the rapid cultivation of a large number of arable lands and adaptation to your new environment. Many of these cutting-edge technologies have been produced by students present in this room. I won't elaborate further, as you all have tasks to complete this final week. However, I wanted to inform you personally that the GU has decided to grant you 4 days off starting tomorrow to visit your families or friends. All scheduled classes in your timetable are therefore canceled. Make the most of these last days to mentally prepare for the colossal task ahead. In addition to your dimensional land, you will also become independent adults, free to make your own choices. I will conclude my speech by wishing you all the best for your future lives. Long live humanity and long live the Unified Government!!!" exclaimed the director in a fanatical and authoritative voice to conclude his speech.
"Long live humanity and long live the Unified Government!!!" responded the people in the room in unison, their tone as fervent as the director's.
Alexander, after listening to the speech, felt a renewed determination stronger than before. Like everyone else in the room, he felt the weight of expectations placed upon their shoulders, keenly aware of the investment the entire human species had entrusted to them at the cost of many sacrifices. They had never known hunger or want and had benefited from the best facilities and education possible for the current era.
As he rose to leave the room, he saw the various students he had grown up with walking confidently and determinedly towards their next classes, driven by unwavering determination to save the human species that had given them everything. Each reaffirmed their convictions about the task ahead.
Excited about the prospect of his future, Alexander returned to his laboratory for what would surely be his last class at Salvatoris. Today, however, for the first time in several years, his mind was occupied by something other than his research. He envisioned his plans for the future and for humanity, and how his name would be etched into the history books forever as one of the pioneers of this new era of the human species. He had no doubt that in this life, he was destined to accomplish great things—more than any human had done before him.
He ended his final day as a student by mentally preparing his future plans and the actions he would take to achieve his ever-growing ambitions. He arrived in his room and prepared for sleep. Before going to bed, he sent a message to his father informing him of the school's decisions and that he would arrive tomorrow morning to see him.

I struggled a lot to imagine the dialogues and interactions between the characters. If anyone has suggestions for improvement or tips on how to make them better, I'm all ears. Thanks for reading!
