Duskendale II

(Rhaegon's POV)

"You are bothered by this." Queen Cersei said, "Why?"

We were in her chambers shortly after she dismissed Stannis and the red woman. She told me she wished to speak to me alone and here we were, alone.

I paced back and forth as she sat in a chair while calmly looking at me, "That fool." I said, "How can he let that woman seduce him? He was fine before I flew to the Dothraki Sea! That was months ago! What did she tell him? What did she do to enchant his mind???"

"Calm down, Rhaegon." She said, "It's quite simple, what she did."

I stopped, "What?" I said as I looked at her

"She spread her legs and allowed your uncle to enjoy her pussy." She said with a chuckle, "Forgive my language, Ser."

I was taken aback by her sudden remark. It made sense, I did think of it. I just didn't expect Her Grace to even say such things.

"I…." I said, "Hm…."

She lifted the cup of wine and took a sip, "It must be divine….for the stone-faced Stannis to be enamored by it." She said with a smile, "The power a woman can hold is amazing. But maybe you are right, maybe she did enchant his mind. We won't know until we make them talk. I didn't like the way she looked at him, the way she looked at you. These…..red witches from Asshai are not to be trusted."

"You know of them?" I asked

"When I was a young girl, I met one." She said, "I saw what she did to a group of men…..took their fingers to the flame and a voice spoke to them. Witchcraft, a horrific thing. She once tried to castrate my brother and sacrifice his cock to the flames, to see what dwarven flesh could do….Jaime had her hanged without my Father's knowledge."

I frowned, "How come I didn't know that?"

"There's a lot of things you don't know, beloved nephew." She told me with a smile, "Your mother once practiced magic, did you know that?"

I looked at her, "Yea…."

"She used blood magic during her pregnancy with you, afraid she was going to lose you." She said, "The Maesters told her not to do something stupid but she didn't listen. She said that not only will you live to be born, you will be resistant to all forms of poison or ailments. I thought she was insanse until you were born….and never once got Ill.."

"Coincidence." I said

"Why would it be one?" She said, "Well, maybe it is, but that is the truth."

I sighed, "If Father won't do something about Stannis, I will."

"Do as you must, I am behind you. But if you are to put Stannis to the blade, get enough proof for it." She said, "That is all."

I nodded, "Yea…"I said, "May I ask why you're in Duskendale of the sudden?"

She chuckled, "No reason." She said, "The Capital can be suffocating sometimes. My dear Myrcella wished for a breath of fresh air."

I raised my eyebrow, "And Duskendale did it for you?"

She looked at me, "I heard of your list of potential suitors." She said, "Lord Robert finally put you on tour, hm?"

I nodded, "Yea."

"Do not for one moment think of considering the Frey girl." She told me

"She's pretty." I said, "And seems like a sweet girl."

"She can be The Maiden incarnate, I wouldn't want her near you. Walder Frey is not to he trusted." She told me sternly, "Take the Sands instead."

"T-The Sand Snakes?" I said

"Paramours instead of a wife to secure an alliance with Dorne? Do it." She said, "That may leave a chance to get another form of alliance. Walder Frey will not suffice."

"Well you're not the first one to tell me to have the Sands…" I said

"And I won't be the last." She said

"But say I do get them, what then?" I asked, "My children, if I do bed them, will be bastards no?"

"Get yourself a proper wife, she'll have your Targaryen children." She said, "If Dorne wants a dragon, give them one Sand with Targaryen blood to suffice. In the meantime, build power here. To have Dorne and the Stormlands with Dragons is to have the south."

The Queen, My Aunt, is telling me this. Oberyn Martell himself came to offer his daughters. If everyone and their mother is telling me to accept, then that must mean that it's the wisest choice. Or is it? I don't know. I need to meet them first.

"Who will that wife be then?" I looked at her

She stood up and walked over to me, patting my sleeves as she smiled, "Soon, she'll come to you." She said with a serene voice, "And you'll fall for her. I know it."

********************

I looked outside the window, "Man…." i said

I was in my chambers later that night, unable to sleep after the conversation with Queen Cersei.

in the distance and atop the hill I landed him on, Morghul's shadowy figure was visible. He was cozily asleep, the poor boy. I had been flying him for far too long but he doesn't complain but gets rather moody about it.

I sighed, "What am I doing?" I whispered aloud

I was thinking about Uncle Stannis and his whole new demeanor ever since he found a new religion. Not only that, I was thinking about this whole tour that I needed to finish. Why did I come to Duskendale? I knew that the Queen would simply refuse him outright but my immediate response was to fly straight here.

"….Curses…" i said as I looked up to the sky, "I need to be at the North soon….."

I heard a light knock at the door, which startled me.

"What?" I said, "Who's there?"

I saw as the door began to slowly open and I immediately reached for my blade, surprised to see blonde hair reflecting the light of the candles that lit the room.

I saw pale purple eyes look at me with a weird light in their eyes.

I narrowed my eyes,

"P-Princess…?"
