Chapter 5 Bai Qingzhu, What a Coincidence

Anyway, who were they to each other?

Bai Qingzhu felt that owing Dongfang Ling a favor was fine, but she didn't want those people to have the opportunity to trouble Dongfang Ling.

She resolutely kept him outside and went in with the child.

They met the principal smoothly, who took her around while explaining the kindergarten's main educational philosophy and the living environment.

Bai Qingzhu had visited several kindergartens, but it was clear that compared to this one, the others fell short. Of course, this international kindergarten also had a much higher tuition fee.

However, she wasn't short of money, and the stage from three to six years old was very important for a child, as well as being the period when personality is formed. She had to find a satisfactory kindergarten in all aspects.

"Mommy, I need to use the restroom,"

said Miaomiao, who had been quiet until then.

This also reminded Bai Qingzhu that since they had entered, they hadn't seen the restroom yet. The quality of a kindergarten can be judged by its restrooms and kitchen.

The principal's cellphone suddenly rang. Before answering, he apologized, "Excuse me, I need to take a call first."

He went to call another teacher to help out.

Qingzhu followed Miaomiao into the restroom. The small toilets were neat and the squatting toilets were also nice; the sanitation was up to standard.

Then, she walked out.

And a man was standing in her way.

"Bai Qingzhu, what a coincidence,"

said Xiao Lijin, not expecting to see her again so soon.

Bai Qingzhu was also taken aback.

"Are you a staff member here?"

He was dressed just like the day before, in a black suit with a straight posture, similar to the domineering CEO characters on TV.

He surely was a handsome man, but the only reason she could think of for his presence here was a troubling one.

Right away, she no longer considered leaving her child here.

"Sort of,"

he replied. He was a major shareholder of the kindergarten and had just come to do a routine inspection when he saw her.

"Are you here for a job interview?"

Bai Qingzhu didn't want to waste words with him. Even though she had been very keen to leave her child here, seeing him, a man with questionable sexual orientation, made her afraid.

"Sorry, I've got something to take care of,"

she said and went back into the restroom. But when she heard a sound behind her, she turned her head and glared at him angrily, "What, do you usually use the women's restroom?"

Xiao Lijin frowned, confused by what she meant.

She quickly closed the door, and fortunately, Miaomiao had already finished and came out.

"Mommy, who were you talking to just now?"

"A scary person,"

Qingzhu replied. There was another door outside the restroom, and she hurried out with Miaomiao through that exit.

Perhaps because she was too hurried, she didn't even say goodbye to the principal before reaching the main entrance and getting into Dongfang Ling's car.

"That was quick. Did you already make a reservation?"

"Drive!"

Dongfang Ling appeared puzzled, "What happened?"

"Just drive when I tell you to,"

she insisted, continually looking back to see if Xiao Lijin was following them.

Dongfang Ling, still clueless, nevertheless drove away as she requested.

Bai Qingzhu breathed a sigh of relief, grateful that she hadn't been targeted. How could such a man work in a kindergarten? Wouldn't he be a bad influence on the children?

Of course, she didn't have the time to worry about other people's children. She just wanted to make sure her daughter wouldn't have to deal with such a teacher.

Xiao Lijin took out his phone and called Lin Qing.

"Check the owner of the car with license plate Wang B8888 for me," he ordered.
