CHAPTER FOUR

"Do you really have to act like this? Babe you know that I love you so much and I can never have anything to do with Angel" A guy named John said to Kristen

" Can you hear yourself speaking? Infact I don't have your time so just leave me alone" Kristen said and tried walking away but John grabed her

"Kristen why are you doing this to me? You know that I truly love you " John said in grievance

" what am I doing to you? You better respect yourself and get out of my way" Kristen said and pushed past him

"Kristen please stop this" John shouted but Kristen didn't turn back as she hurried Back to class

" Kristen Where have you been?" phoenix asked with a frown as Kristen entered the class

"I went to the restroom and was stopped by a Psychopath" Kristen responded

" Are you okay?" phoenix asked a little concerned

"yeah I'm fine so you don't have to worry about me " Kristen replied and sat down

Soon their teacher entered the class and she wrote on the board before addressing the students

" we are going to have a science project so I'm going to peer each of you with a partner " The science teacher announced and the class murmured among themselves

" I'm going to be picking each peer through a game" The science teacher said as she quickly explained the game while bringing out a big box filled with names

After the picking session Phoenix ended up being partner with Troy Bolton while Kristen became partner with Stanley

" Ma can I please change partner ?" phoenix asked the teacher feeling unwilling

" No miss Addison you can't change partner " The teacher said without room for complain and gave them the projects to work on

" you are to submit this project on Monday " The teacher informed them

" But Ma I don't think that we can complete this project before on monday" A student complained

" Do you think that it's any of my business? all I know is that you must submit your project on Monday. Any question ?" She asked and a student raised his hand to ask a question

" I don't think you have any question " The teacher said and walked out of the class

After the teacher left Troy walked to phoenix with a faint smile

" Hi partner where are we going to do our project in?" Troy asked phoenix and she gave him a fierce glance

" of course here at school. you better not have any unhealthy thought" phoenix warned him

" Have you forgotten that today is Friday and tommorow is the weekend so we can't do it here at school. Why not we do it at your home? " Troy asked her with a smirk

" sorry to disappoint you but that's not happening " Phoenix Responded

" okay we'll see about that " Troy said with a mischievous smile and walked away

Phoenix was still thinking what he meant when she heard the sound of the school bell Which brought her back to her reality

" phoenix aren't you going home? " Kristen asked her

" Yeah I'm going I just have to keep my test book in my locker First " Phoenix replied

" I'm sure that my dad is already waiting for me so I'll get going " Kristen said and walked out of the class

Phoenix lazily stroled to her locker and place her test book inside before walking to the gate.

Surprisingly her mom car was already there so she just opened the car door and got in

" Good afternoon mom, you came early today what happened? " She asked but her mom only surge her shoulder

" Hello Aunty " Troy who just walked to their car greeted Mrs Addison

" oh my God it's been so long since I last saw you " Mrs Addison exclaimed and he just smile

" Troy Bolton I finally get to meet you again " Anne said excitedly from the back seat and phoenix rolled her eyes

" why not you have dinner with Us?" Mrs Addison suggested

" Aunt there is no need for that because I'm coming to you house tommorow. Phoenix and I have a science project " Troy stated. Phoenix wanted to reject but her mom word cut her shut

" That's nice. Don't worry I'll prepare a great meal for you. " Mrs Addison said with a smile

" I'm so excited. Can I take a picture with you? I told my classmates that you are my sister's boyfriend but they didn't believe " Anne said and Troy smiled happily

" Sure " He replied and their moment was cut short by phoenix

" Anne how many times have I Told you that he's not my boyfriend? " phoenix asked angrily

" Okay okay I was wrong and won't say anything again" Anne said and quietly took a picture with Troy before waving good bye to him

As the car drove off phoenix remained silent with a black face. Anne sigh for the tenth time and turn to phoenix

" Are you still angry about what happened back then?" Anne asked her

" What do you think? " phoenix asked with a raised brow

" okay like I said before I'm sorry but can't you see that you both are meant to be..." Anne said and was stopped by Her mom

" That's enough Anne can't you see that your sister is angry? " Mrs Addison said

The car became quite nice again and phoenix couldn't help but think what was going to happen with Troy coming to her house the next day because of the stupid science project

" sister what are you thinking about? We have arrived " Anne said to phoenix.

This was when she realized that they have arrived at home and her mom and sister had already gotten off from the car

" Are you okay phoenix?" Mrs Addison asked as she touched phoenix forehead worriedly

" Don't worry mom I'm fine. I'm just so tired due to school work so I'll go to my room to rest " phoenix said and walked out of the car

" I won't have dinner so don't bother to call me later" phoenix said as she walked to her room
