Chapter-12

Chun Yujin felt a black wind brush passed his face as his disciple called him.

He then slowly look towards the man in front.

With his body completely covered in thick Black fur, and crimson red eyes and claws as long as a saber.

And on his mouths was Chun Yijun's entire left arms..

"Little fei..." Chun Yujin said as he slowly fall to the ground.

Time seemed to have stop For moment, as rain drops fell to the earth.

"MASTER!!"

A terrible scream ripped through the downpour—raw, thunderous, unrestrained. And then—

BOOM!!!

A deafening sonic boom shattered the air as Lin Haoran activated his technique.

[HEAVENLY HAMMER]!!!

The sky cracked. The rain froze mid-fall. For a split second, even sound itself seemed to lag behind.

Lin Haoran's body, weighing just under 40 kilograms, was hurled forward by the full force of [The Invisible Hand of God]. Accelerated at nearly 980 meters per second, he crossed the distance between him and the beast faster than a bullet—faster than the eye could track.

The monster turned, sensing something in its primal instincts.

Too late.

The sword in Lin Haoran's hand came down—not as a weapon, but as a divine executioner. A human body should never have been able to move like that. But with Heavenly Hammer, Lin Haoran had become a living missile, his telekinesis turning him into a kinetic weapon of pure destruction.

The blade struck.

It met the creature's furred flesh and didn't slow. Weight × Speed = Devastation. The energy behind the strike—several tons worth of kinetic force compressed into a human-sized frame—was beyond anything the beast could ever hope to face.

It split in half.

The sword, unable to withstand the energy coursing through it, shattered moments after impact. The strike carved into the earth, the sheer residual force opening a ragged trench nearly four meters deep, splitting apart stone and soil alike. The shockwave slammed into the far walls of the crater, shaking the entire mountain, dust erupting in a stormcloud of pulverized rock.

Where once stood a beast of nightmare, now there was only ruin.

The sword's hilt, the last remnant of the weapon, crumbled in Lin Haoran's trembling hand—disintegrating into the rain.

He was tried and his whole body felt like it was going collapse.

The human body was not designed to be thrown around with the horrifying speed of [The Invisible hand of God] .

However he could not help it as it was a moment of rage.

He looked at the corpse of the unknown monster who was the monsterize Lu Fei, he then looked to his master who way lying on the ground bleeding.

Lin hoaran regretted it, it was a lapse of judgement on his part,

From the very beginning Lu Fei's wife didn't talk, She didn't even make a sound, as if she didn't exist and his master ignored her like so.

and the same was with Lu Fei midway during the fight, but all of this was only according to his perception, on the other hand, his master didn't see Lu Fei's wife at all, she was already dead!! What Lin Haoran saw was her ghost.

And The same goes to Lu Fei, who had actually died during the battle, and had snuck off ready for an ambush, what Lin Haoran also saw later was his Ghost, and it was this short moment of identification that led to him to lower his guard.

He failed to see the monsterize Lu Fei hiding amongst the corpse in ground ready to strike!!

Lin Haoran gritted his teeth in anger, but before he could think of anything else the ground suddenly trembled at this moment!!

"What now?" Lin haoran was puzzled.

The trembling stopped for a moment then as if a mountain had fallen from the sky a loud noise was heard as the ground violently shooked!!!

....

In the dense forest quite at an unknown distance from the mountain was at two brothers moved silently, their laughter mingling with the rustling leaves.

The elder one, Li Wei, held up a rabbit triumphantly, its soft fur still warm.

"We'll feast tonight, little brother!" he exclaimed, ruffling the younger one's hair.

Li Ming, his eyes wide with admiration, nodded eagerly, his stomach already growling in anticipation.

As they made their way home, the earth beneath them trembled. Li Wei paused, his smile fading as he turned to his brother, eyes filled with sudden fear. Before either could react, a wall of blackness surged from the horizon. The shadow loomed, swallowing the light and everything in its path.

Li Wei was the first to go, crushed instantly beneath the unfathomable weight of the darkness. Li Ming, thrown like a ragdoll into the air, tumbled through a storm of uprooted trees and debris. Pain seared through his body, and as the world spun around him, he caught a glimpse of the source—a towering giant of unknown height, striding through the landscape as if it were nothing more than a child's plaything.

In his final moments, as the ground rushed up to meet him, Li Ming's last sight was the colossal figure, its immense form shrouded in an eerie, otherworldly aura. The brothers' happy day had turned into a nightmare, leaving nothing but silence and the distant tremors of the giant's steps.

...

Lin Haoran stood at the rim of the mountain peak, the chill wind ruffling his robes as he gazed out over the vast expanse of land below. The horizon stretched endlessly before him, a serene blend of blues and greens under the fading light of the setting sun. It was a tranquil scene, or so it seemed at first glance.

Then, a tremor shook the ground beneath his feet. It was subtle at first, barely noticeable, but it grew steadily more pronounced with each passing second. Lin Haoran's brow furrowed in confusion. He squinted into the distance and saw a tiny figure on the horizon. Despite its diminutive appearance, each step it took sent a shiver through the earth.

Curiosity gnawed at him as Lin Haoran instantly activated his [Astral Sight].

The world around him sharpened into a crystal-clear focus, His vision travelled zooming in on the distant figure. His heart skipped a beat when the truth revealed itself.

The figure was not tiny at all. It was a colossal giant, standing nearly 40 kilometers tall and at a staggering 220 kilometers away, almost at the limit of his range of vision.

Lin Haoran's breath caught in his throat. How could such a thing even exist? The sheer size and power of the giant defied all logic and reason.

It was as if a god had stepped down from the heavens, its very presence an affront to the natural order.

As he stared in horrified fascination, Suddenly the giant turned its head towards Lin Haoran as if seeming to sense his gaze, Its eyes, glowing with an otherworldly light, now locks onto Lin Haoran's position.

A cold shiver ran down his spine. He felt exposed, vulnerable, and utterly insignificant under the gaze of this titanic being.

Before he could react, a firm hand gripped his shoulder and yanked him back. It was Chun Yujin, his master, bloodied and battered and missing a hand from the recent battle.

"one must not look directly at a god," Chun Yujin whispered , pulling Lin Haoran into the cover of the mountain crater.

Lin Haoran's heart pounded in his chest as he crouched beside his master, hidden from the giant's view. "Ma-masster??" he whispered, Luckily his master had somehow survive, his voice barely audible. " What is a god?" Lin Haoran asked.

"Who knows" Chun Yujin replied, his expression grave.

"But for now they are a being beyond our current understanding, Haoran. To catch their attention is to invite destruction." he continued.

Lin Haoran's mind raced. He had always guessed that there might be there might be powerful beings in the world considering how magical and large this place seemed to be compare to earth, but to see one with his own eyes was something else entirely.

The sheer scale of the giant, its casual, earth-shaking movements, and the terrifying power it radiated—it was a humbling, awe-inspiring sight.

After, what seemed like an hour or so the trembling ground, slowly seemed to subside.

The two heave a sigh of relief, they slowly stood up, but Chun Yijun seem to staggered at he stood.

"Master.." Lin haoran hurried help his master up.

"sigh* The years are indeed acting up on me, what an awful oversight, to actually be ambush at such close range" Chun Yijun said in regret, as he looked at the ruins of the battlefield.

Lu Fei corpse which had split into two, the deep ravine on the ground and his disciple who had miraculously survive the disaster.

He slowly looked at his disciple with a puzzle look.
