Elloise

"Good morning!!" I loudly said on my veranda, here in my room.

I'm in a good mood today, why not?

I quickly went into the bathroom, took a shower, put on my uniform, grabbed my phone and shoulder bag, and headed downstairs. I caught my parents before they left, so I kissed them on the cheek before sitting down and eating my meal.

I finished my meal quickly and got into our car, driven by our personal driver, Manong Armando, who is kind. I arrived at our campus and immediately heard whispers, but I chose to ignore them.

Our college and senior high school share the same campus, while the high school campus is located across from ours. I'm in Grade 12, along with my friends Helliana Elaine Cortez and Xyrene Lopez, and I have many other friends, both male and female.

"Elloise..." they both shouted, and I chuckled softly at their antics, causing the students around us to look. They both playfully rolled their eyes, which made me laugh even more.

"Let's go, there are so many pests here," Xyrene suddenly said, and I laughed at her comment before lightly hitting her arm.

We turned around and walked away, and suddenly, the girls around us started squealing. I already knew who they were. It was Dark's group, the owner of the school and known as the king of the campus because of his good looks and basketball skills. Everyone chases after him, except for me.

I'm also a famous cheerleader on our campus, but I have no interest in joining the Councils. I'm definitely not the Queen Bee here; that title belongs to Angelyn and her clown followers.

And there are rumors about Angelyn and Dark, but I couldn't care less about them. We quickly arrived at our classroom, I put my bag down, and then chatted with my friends. They always have so much gossip, these two.

Suddenly, our professor arrived, so we all settled down and kept quiet near the window to enjoy the fresh air. We have air conditioning, but the view from the back is beautiful. I couldn't help but feel uneasy, as if someone was watching me from outside.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I looked outside and saw Dark's group at the waiting shed near our classroom window. They were laughing and teasing each other. I decided to ignore them and focused on our professor's lecture.

"Elloise..." Xyrene suddenly shouted, interrupting the class. I gave her a disapproving look, realizing that our professor had already left.

She suddenly threw her notebook, and it landed outside. Why do I have friends like this? I was about to go out and get it, but our next professor arrived.

"Ma'am, can I go out for a moment? My notebook is outside," I asked, and she nodded, so I quickly went out. Why does my most talented friend always do these things?

As I walked in the hallway, I immediately saw Dark's group still at the waiting shed, near our classroom window. I decided not to pay attention to them and walked towards our window.

"Hey, it's Elloise!" one of Dark's friends said, but I ignored them.

"Hi, Elloise," they greeted me. I smiled sweetly at them before taking my notebook.

"Elloise, can you give this to Jaydon Alvarez?" Xyrene suddenly said.

She handed me an envelope with a letter, and I just nodded at her. She seemed thrilled, and I walked towards Dark's group.

"Jaydon Alvarez," I said, catching their attention.

"That's me, Miss Beautiful," he said flirtatiously, making me raise an eyebrow before handing him the envelope.

"He said it's for me," I told him before turning around and walking back to our classroom, where I sat down.

We quickly went to the cafe. As soon as we entered, people looked at us, but I chose to ignore them. We found a table and sat down.

"What are you going to order?" Ellaine asked. I just nodded at her.

"What do you want to order?" she asked.

"Just a burger and a milk tea for me," I said to her.

She nodded and left. Suddenly, a student approached me with a bouquet of mixed flowers. I was puzzled because I had been receiving these for a year, but no one ever claimed responsibility. People would just say they didn't know who the sender was.

"Hi, Elloise," the student said with a smile.

"Hello," I greeted back.

"Someone is sending these to you," the student said, handing me the flowers. I happily accepted them, sometimes even receiving expensive chocolates and notes from an unknown admirer.

"Thank you," I said to the student, who nodded and smiled before walking away.

"Your hair is so long, girl," Xyrene said, making me laugh.

"Here's a note. Read it," she said excitedly, so I laughed before taking it and opening it.

Notes:

"I'll never stop falling in love with you."

Damn! I felt like blushing secretly. I couldn't help but smile, no matter who you are, I'll stand by my words.

"Hey, smile," Xyrene suddenly said, making me laugh.

"No way...you're shameless," I said to her.

"Oh my god, I feel a butterfly in my stomach," she said loudly, grabbing the attention of the students around us, including Dark's group, who looked in our direction.

"I can't help but smile," I defended myself.

Then Ellaine arrived, giving us our orders. She sat down, and I started teasing her. I really didn't want to feel giddy, whoever you are.

We quickly finished our meal, and I still had m

y milk tea in hand because I didn't eat properly. As we walked in the hallway, these two continued teasing me.

"Elloise..." Dark's group suddenly greeted me. I don't know why, but whenever they see me, they always greet me.

I just smiled at them before walking away.

"Elloise, why are you so beautiful? King said," Jaydon suddenly said, making everyone burst into laughter, including me.

"Fuck you," Dark said loudly, hitting Jaydon's arm. His friends laughed along.

"I don't know either, maybe my parents did a good job," I said to him before laughing and leaving.

"Next time, I'll try to be as good as you," Jave said, and I just laughed at them.

Whenever they greet me, their group of friends always laughs, while their king just looks at me. I don't know what happened there.
