A Counselling Of Love, Career Or Both?

The sun-drenched campus buzzed with excitement as students from classes 9 to 12 gathered in their respective courses. Aarav and Rohan slipped into their seats, claiming the window side as their own. Fate, it seemed, had other plans. Kiara settled in behind them, her presence a subtle whisper in the bustling room.

Aarav's curiosity piqued, he hesitated to turn around, wondering why she'd chosen that particular course. But as he breathed in, his senses were met with a sweet, floral aroma that wafted from behind. It was as if the essence of fresh rose petals and citrus blossoms had merged in perfect harmony, filling the air with an intoxicating scent.

Her fragrance was like a gentle summer breeze, carrying the whispers of blooming gardens and sun-kissed afternoons. It enveloped him, transporting him to a world where worries ceased to exist. The subtle hint of vanilla and caramel added a depth to her scent, making it rich and alluring, like a warm embrace on a chilly evening.

Aarav's resistance crumbled, his head turning ever so slightly, his eyes seeking the source of that captivating aroma. His gaze met Kiara's, her eyes sparkling like diamonds in the morning light. For a fleeting moment, they locked eyes, the air thick with an unspoken understanding. Then, Aarav's gaze dropped, his cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and wonder.

Aarav's head jerked forward, his eyes snapping back into focus. "Ow, stupid me!" he muttered, rubbing his forehead.

Rohan raised an eyebrow. "Dude, are you okay? You zoned out for a sec."

Aarav waved him off. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."

Just then, the facilitators walked in, greeting the class with a warm smile. Aarav's gaze drifted off again, his senses still reeling from Kiara's intoxicating scent.

"Okay, everyone! Let's get started. We need someone to help us open our files. Anyone willing to assist?"

Aarav's hand shot up before he could even think. He was already standing, his long legs carrying him towards the facilitators with a fluid grace.

Kiara's eyes watched him, her gaze tracing the lines of his tall, slim body. He stood at around 5'9", his height accentuated by his lean frame. His hair was a rich, dark brown, styled in a messy, effortless way that framed his chiseled features. His bright eyes sparkled with a quiet intensity, and his full lips curled into a gentle smile as he approached the facilitators.

"Wow," Kiara breathed, her thoughts stolen by the sight of him. "He's... quite something."

As Aarav reached the front, his movements economical and precise, Kiara couldn't help but notice the way his eyes crinkled at the corners, the way his hair fell across his forehead in a messy swoop. She felt a flutter in her chest, her heart skipping a beat as their eyes met for a fleeting moment.

What was happening? She didn't even know him, and yet...

Kiara's gaze snapped back to her novel, her focus sharpening as she delved into the words. She was determined to make up for lost time, her mind shutting out all distractions.

Aarav returned to his seat, his eyes drifting to Kiara's intent figure. He gathered his belongings from Rohan's desk and, with a quiet apology, settled in beside her.

"Hey, Kiara, sorry about earlier. I overreacted. Anger issues, you know," he said, his voice low and contrite.

Kiara looked up, her expression softening. "It's okay, Aarav. I understand. We all have our moments."

Aarav nodded, his eyes searching hers. "Thanks for understanding. But, um, why did I sit here with you?"

Kiara raised an eyebrow, her tone neutral. "I was wondering the same thing. You seemed pretty engaged with Rohan earlier."

Aarav shrugged, his smile sheepish. "Yeah, I guess I just wanted a change of scenery. And your focus is kinda inspiring."

Kiara's expression remained impassive, her eyes returning to her novel. "Well, try not to get too distracted."

Aarav chuckled, settling in beside her. "I'll try my best."

As I gazed at Kiara, I was struck by her petite yet powerful presence. Her 5'4" frame seemed to radiate a quiet confidence, her curves and contours accentuated by her sleek, dark hair.

Those deep, mysterious eyes sparkled like polished onyx, beckoning me to explore their depths. Her full lips, painted a subtle shade of pink, seemed to whisper secrets, inviting me to lean in closer.

Her curly tresses cascaded down her back like a rich, velvety waterfall, framing her heart-shaped face with effortless elegance. The intoxicating scent of her perfume wafted towards me, a heady blend of floral and spice that left me breathless.

Her small, delicate hands were adorned with a slender ring and bracelet, glinting in the light like tiny stars.

Her earrings, tiny droplets of silver and gemstone, added a touch of sophistication to her already-stunning features.

As she turned the page of her novel, her eyes flicked up to meet mine, and I felt my heart stumble. Those eyes seemed to hold a world of emotion, a depth of feeling that I longed to explore.

Her gaze was like a warm embrace, enveloping me in a sense of comfort and security.

In that moment, I was lost in the beauty of Kiara, my senses overwhelmed by the sheer intensity of her presence. It was as if the entire world had melted away, leaving only the two of us, suspended in a sea of wonder and discovery.

As I sat beside Kiara, I couldn't help but be drawn in by her beauty. Her warm smile and sparkling eyes made my heart skip a beat. I felt a sense of comfort and peace in her presence, like I could be myself around her.

"Kiara," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "Can I ask you something?"

She looked up from her book, her eyes locking onto mine. "Of course, Aarav. What's on your mind?"

I hesitated, feeling a sense of vulnerability. "Do you believe in fate? Like, do you think our lives are predetermined, or do we have control over our own destiny?"

Kiara's expression turned thoughtful, her eyes gazing into the distance. "I believe in a little bit of both," she said finally. "I think our lives are shaped by our choices, but also by forces beyond our control. Like, we can choose to take a certain path, but we can't control what happens along the way."

I nodded, feeling a sense of resonance with her words. "I never thought of it that way," I said. "But it makes sense. Like, we can choose to fall in love, but we can't control who we fall in love with."

Kiara's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Exactly," she said. "And sometimes, the best things in life are the ones we least expect."

Our conversation flowed effortlessly, like we were old friends reconnecting after years apart. I felt a deep connection with Kiara, like we were kindred spirits. And as we talked, I realized that I didn't want this moment to end. I wanted to spend more time with her, to get to know her better, to explore this connection we shared.

The facilitator handed us a sheet of paper and a pencil. "Okay, partners! Your task is to draw something you see in the architecture of this building, together."

Kiara smiled at me, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. I felt my heart skip a beat as I gazed into her eyes, and suddenly, I was lost in their depths.

But I quickly snapped out of it, feeling a surge of embarrassment. I didn't need to get drawn to someone, I told myself sternly. The world was the same, and I would only end up getting hurt.

I cleared my throat and focused on the paper, trying to push aside my feelings. "So, what should we draw?" I asked gruffly, trying to sound nonchalant.

Kiara didn't seem to notice my awkwardness. "How about that archway over there?" she suggested, pointing to a beautiful stone arch.

I nodded, and we both began to draw, our pencils scratching against the paper in unison. As we worked, I tried to reason with my heart, telling it to stay focused and not get distracted by Kiara's charms. But my heart seemed to have a mind of its own, and I found myself stealing glances at her, my pulse racing with excitement.

Despite my best efforts, I couldn't help but feel drawn to her, like a magnet to steel. And I knew I was in trouble.

As we continued drawing, my subconscious mind began to develop a crush on Kiara. I couldn't help but think that time should stand still, allowing me to absorb all of her beauty and wonder. How could someone be so stunning, both inside and out? I felt like I was drowning in her eyes, and I never wanted to surface.

Just to keep the conversation alive between them Aarav out of curiosity asks,"Kiara, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, Aarav. What's on your mind?", Kiara answered.

"What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?", Aarav asked with sparkling eyes.

"That's a wonderful question. I think the most beautiful thing I've ever seen is the way sunlight filters through the leaves of a tree on a summer afternoon. It's like nature's own work of art." Kiara losing herself in the mist of her imagination

"That sounds stunning. But I think I've just seen something even more beautiful.", Aarav quoted moving Kiara out of her imagination.

"What's that?", Kiara asked with a confused face.

"Your smile. It lights up the whole room." Aarav flirtingly said.

His words made Kiara blush and she with a sweet voice replied, "Aarav, that's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."

As they completed their drawing the counseling session came to an end. Aarav felt a pang of sadness, not wanting this moment to end. "I guess fate has other plans," Aarav thought to himself.

As we packed up our things, I realized I didn't want this connection to fade. I turned to Kiara and asked, "Hey, what's your Instagram handle? Let's stay in touch!"

Kiara smiled, her eyes sparkling. "It's Kiara_1... . Nice meeting you, Aarav!"

I smiled back, feeling a sense of relief. "Likewise, Kiara. Let's keep in touch!"

As we parted ways, I couldn't help but feel a sense of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something special. And even if it wasn't, I was grateful for this moment, this spark of connection that had brightened my day.

"As I walked back home on the streets, the city streets seemed to fade into the background, leaving only the echo of Kiara's laughter, her mesmerising beauty and the haunting question: What if this chance encounter was just the beginning of a love story that would rewrite the chapters of our lives forever?"

The fate was already decided, but for Aarav and Kiara it was a question, " Will they find their solace in each other or their meeting was meant for that instance?"
