The Struggle Between Two Women (Part 2)

Ye Qian had already experienced Qin Yue's retaliatory nature, so when he put his arm around her shoulder, her reaction was much better than the first time. However, she wasn't about to let Ye Qian off easily. She glared at him and pinched his waist hard.

"Hiss..." Ye Qian winced in pain, taking a sharp breath. This girl was much more "vicious" than Zhao Ya, targeting his most sensitive spots.

To outsiders, they looked extremely intimate, and Wang Yu naturally couldn't tell they were just pretending. "Stupid rascal, no taste at all, liking a flat-chested girl," Wang Yu muttered, her tone clearly showing some jealousy and frustration.

Ye Qian looked at Wang Yu in surprise, wondering why she had such a strong reaction. Could she have feelings for him?

"You're just jealous!" Qin Yue shot back at Wang Yu, "Sour grapes. I pity you."

This girl was quite sharp-tongued. Seeing the glimmer of tears in Wang Yu's eyes, Ye Qian felt a bit soft-hearted, thinking he might have gone too far. But then he thought, it wasn't really his fault; Qin Yue started it.

After a moment of silence, Ye Qian decided to defuse the situation. "I'll go back with you," he said to Wang Yu.

Wang Yu bit her lip, feeling inexplicably moved, thinking he cared about her after all. Qin Yue, however, smiled lightly, leaned close to Ye Qian's ear, and whispered, "Feeling sorry?"

Ye Qian chuckled without confirming or denying. "Come with me," he said to Qin Yue.

"Why would I go? You're going to flirt with another girl, what do I need to be there for?" Qin Yue said, her tone carrying a hint of jealousy.

"Hehe, aren't you my girlfriend? Aren't you worried I'll do something unfaithful?" Ye Qian said with a mischievous smile.

Qin Yue gave Ye Qian a disdainful look. "If she's willing, go ahead. I don't mind. Men sometimes need to play around," she said, glancing at Wang Yu, implying that even if Wang Yu slept with Ye Qian, it would just be a fling for him.

Wang Yu glared at Qin Yue angrily. "Keep pretending. Don't hide and cry alone."

Qin Yue ignored Wang Yu's remark and turned to Ye Qian. "Remember to use protection. Don't bring back any diseases, or you'll never touch me again."

Ye Qian thought to himself how sharp Qin Yue could be. Women in a fight were indeed more terrifying than men. Feeling a bit sorry for Wang Yu, he wanted to tell her, "You can't win against Qin Yue. Just stop."

Wang Yu seemed to understand Ye Qian's silent message, and she indeed stopped talking.

Ye Qian leaned close to Qin Yue's ear and whispered, "Come with me. It's not safe here. When we get to the station, call your father to pick you up."

Qin Yue hesitated briefly, then nodded, showing she wasn't a brainless girl. Despite her family's power, she knew they had many enemies. Using her to threaten her father wasn't uncommon. Somehow, she trusted Ye Qian unconditionally.

Ye Qian was surprised Qin Yue agreed so readily. He thought it would take longer to persuade her. He smiled, thinking she could be a great ally in the future.

"Wait here for a moment," Ye Qian said, standing up and walking over to Wang Yu. "Can I have a few minutes?"

Surprisingly, Wang Yu agreed without hesitation.

Ye Qian smiled and said, "Please take care of Qin Yue for a bit. I need to check something." He glanced towards a dark corner not far away.

Wang Yu initially wanted to refuse but seeing Ye Qian's serious expression, she swallowed her words. "Where are you going?" she asked, concerned.

"I feel someone has been following us. I need to find out who and why," Ye Qian said calmly.

Though Ye Qian's words were calm, Wang Yu sensed danger. "I'll take some officers and go with you. You stay here," she said.

Ye Qian smiled faintly. "You're not his match."

In the past, Wang Yu might have felt insulted, but now she didn't. She wondered if she had fallen for him, her thoughts drifting as she looked at Ye Qian. Up close, he really was quite charming.

"Be careful," Wang Yu said, concerned. "Don't make things worse. You're already in trouble."

Ye Qian nodded, smiled, and walked towards the dark corner. He paused, turned back to Wang Yu, and whispered in her ear, "You look very attractive when you're not angry." Then he blew lightly in her ear.

Wang Yu felt a strange sensation, her face turning red. Watching Ye Qian walk away, her heart pounded.

Ye Qian's movements seemed slow, but in the blink of an eye, he disappeared. The officers were stunned that Wang Yu let him go. "Wang Yu, why did you let him go?" Yang Wei asked quietly. He had learned not to anger Qin Yue and spoke softly to avoid trouble.
