"The Chosen?"
`Yes. The Gods, especially GodKings, look for seeded ones among the humans to nurture and elevate to Godhood status, in order to better fight the Eternal War.`
Leo nodded, partly understanding and partly not understanding.
Keraunos noticed his slight confusion and decided to ask.
`I see you have a few questions...`
"Yeah... I just don't understand the role of the Strongholds in this war."
Keraunos nodded, explaining,
`It is actually very simple. Think of us as the first line of defense. The Stronghold is an alternate space at the very entrance of the Devils' wormhole...
`The space of our planet is relatively stable, so the strongest entities able to be directly teleported unto the Ancient Battlefield are the Aberrations, and they can't be teleported anywhere else due to the Gods locking the space around the Battlefield.
`Even then, they are only able to teleport a few at a time, as the Gods have stabilized the space to an extreme.`
"A few?!" Lead was gobsmacked at the act of calling hundreds of thousands of Aberrations 'a few'.
`Yes, a few. I believe you must have been told that the Devils have invaded dozens of worlds, but I doing so, they have accumulated billions or even trillions of Aberrations.`
Right at this moment, a slight fluctuation swept through the entirety of the Stronghold space, prompting a sharp look to flash along Keraunos's eyes.
`Just as well, your first battle.`
Leo's expression turned serious.
Signalling Leo to follow him, Keraunos stood up and walked through the glowing membrane, appearing outside the tower-like structure, into the midst of others who were visibly geared up for battle.
With a snap of the middle aged man's fingers, a suit of lightning themed armor appeared on his body, along with a golden spear nestled within his grasp.
Turning to face Leo, he stated;
`The armor and weapons are crafted by the very Gods themselves and linked to us, improving our power. Although there is no time to specially craft one for you, you can still be provided with a suitable weapon.`
Shaking his head, Leo rejected the offer,
"There will be no need for that."
Nodding his head, Keraunos turned to the assembled Warlocks,
`Brothers and sisters, get ready for WAR!!!"
*ROAR*
The shouts of the determined warriors shook the air, as Keraunos turned around and put his palm on the tower behind him.
Following his action, the silvery-white glow of the tower turned a deep scarlet, and the Warlocks promptly marched into it.
Leo followed the lead of Keraunos, who was in front, and the scenery before his eyes rapidly changed.
The first thing he saw was a pitch black sky, with countless blood-red cracks running along the entire length of it, and twinkling white dots as far as the eyes could see. The ground consisted of a never ending stretch of floating, shattered rocks, with little space between them, below was a pitch black nothingness.
When Leo fully regained his bearings and looked back, he saw that he had just come out of a futuristic looking glowing gate, with several others nearby, and he had the guess that even those who entered at the same time would be randomly ejected from said gate.
The group were standing on a wall-lije structure, and Leo could see that it curved inwards, resembling the embracing arms of one's lover, or a crescent moon.
Looking left, one could see two other sections of the wall that had patterns relating to the GodKing of War and the GodKing of Tides. Looking right, there were those of Mother Nature and the GodKing of Death.
Based on this, one could clarify that the battle stations of the Warlocks of the various GodKings were like so; Tides, War, Lightning, Nature, and Death, from left to right, with the Warlocks of the GodKings of Lightning in the middle.
The wall was estimated by Leo to be at least two hundred miles long, but there were several hundred particularly prominent structures on it that reminded him of turrets.
However, what was even more magnificent than all of these were the thousands of giant figures floating a few miles above the walls.
The smallest were close to a hundred meters tall, and the tallest, a silver haired figure surrounded by apocalyptic lightning, was a full two hundred meters tall.
Keraunos nodded to Leo and started organizing the Warlocks of the GodKing of Lightning, numbering at least ten thousand. Series of raoears pierced through the air prompting Leo to look towards the opposite area of the walls, and he finally saw it...
The enemy...
The Devils.
A literal sea of Aberrations came forward from an exceptionally large tunnel that was hundreds of miles away.
Waves of power boomed from the figures above the wall.
The Gods had taken action.

A/N
For all this who might have questions for why the MC is able to see whose territory is for whom on a wall literally two hundred miles long:
1. The wall is curved inwards, meaning one can easily see the other parts especially while in the center, and;
2. The Agility Sttribute, coupled with Intelligence, affects sensory perception. And Leo has freakishly high Stats, so... You get the point.
Happy reading!
