It was the most dramatic entrance I'd ever seen. His wavy slightly curly dark hair creased his brows in soft swirling motions that left my lips and probably the lips of every other girl in the hall dry. His movement seemed even more fluid than that of the others at the table he was headed. with his legs and back arched with fluid cat-like grace, he made his way up to them, tucking a stray lock of his hair back and tucking the left hand into his pants pocket. somehow he'd gotten even more beautiful than he'd been in class, complete with the ripped jean jacket he wore and his hard sturdy denim pants he wore that gave him the total bad-boy look. His head, held high in cocky arrogance surveyed the entire room, eyes landing splat on me. Then he couldn't tear it off. He stared at me a while longer, frowning, gaze deepening till I tore mine off for fear that my heart'd beat its way right out of my chest. He made a low growling sound and swaggered up to the table filled with heavenly beauties. I shot them hidden glances and then turned to stare at my food. Lucy watched me quizzically.
"That was intense now wasn't it?"
I sat up " what?"
" That stare" Lucy continued " Why was he staring at you like that?"
" Like you're something to eat" Josh said, frowning and turning to glare at him " That's how they stare at people. Like meals"
" I was going to say like you were messing with his head but that still works josh" Lucy said.
" What's wrong Josh?" Katya asked, leaning into him.
He laughed " That shitty cage dude makes the rest of us guys feel like flies placed before pork. The dreamy handsome cage" He scoffed, brushing his hair back. Lucy made a scoffing sound.
" How you dickwad? You're like the most popular guy in our grade"
" Yeah that's different. I try to make people like me. He doesn't have to. One beam and you're gone. And by God is he cocky!"
" You know what you are?" Lucy said, holding a spoon up at him. He made a face.
" What?"
" You're one jealous piece of shit you know that? The Cage guy's done nothing to you. Why do hate him so much?"
" You won't get it. Its guy talk"
" Yeah. Bet that's more interesting than history" She sassed and I hid a chuckle. For someone so small and stylish she was definitely badass. Cheeky and badass.
" Get this" she said, grinning slyly and looking behind me " Alexander's staring at you"
" Wh… what?" I took a peek and sure as hell he was. And he didn't tear his gaze away even when I looked. He just kept up that hard intense gaze that left chills running down my spine and down to my belly. It felt like he hated me but… I don't know, longed for me all at once. it kept up for a while, him staring and me keeping up. My eyes watered up and I looked away to see Stacey, Lucy and katya staring at me.
Lucy let out a sigh " well that was pretty intenser now wasn't it? What's cage's problem? Is he interested in you or what?"
" Alexander's not really interested in girls from this school Lu" Katya said.
" But the way he stares at her. It leaves me thinking that he is"
" He is one hot mess I'll tell you" Stacey gushed " And those eyes. Those eyes could literally melt you"
" I know right" Katya said dreamily. Lucy nudged me.
" Don't look but Alexander's still looking at you" She whispered. The thought of that sent chills running down my spine.
