Warut was very calm, sitting on the sofa opposite the bed, resting the elbow of his arm on the sofa and his palm clenched under his jaw. Sleep never visited his eyes as he watched Virutt and his irregular sleep.
He looked at Virutt who woke up staring at him and then started crying and tears streamed down his cheeks. There were traces of slapping on his cheek and traces of finger pressure on his neck.
He closed his fist tightly as his nerves and veins bulged out, then he closed his eyes as he spoke quietly, listening to Fairut's wailing and his utterances. He tried as much as possible to control his nerves and not scream so that Fairut's wailing would not increase.
(Get up to take a shower)
Virutt got up and uttered just one word
(Khun...)
Warut interrupted him, speaking in a calm voice
(I said go take a shower, hurry up)
Virutt moved while feeling dizzy and his tears were still falling. He stood at the bathroom door intending to speak despite his sobs escaping his lips and his body trembling, but Virutt's speech silenced him and forced him to enter the bathroom.
(I put clothes in the bathroom for you)
Virutt entered the bathroom and stood looking at his chest in the mirror, and his tears stopped, even though his body was shaking very much. There were scratches and red spots. He quickly entered the tub with warm water, meaning that Virutt knew that he would wake up soon.
He remained sitting in the tub, hugging his legs as he recalled everything that had happened, how he had been dragged and tied, Saan's touches, his crying, Saan's beating of him, and even Saan's death . The sound of that bullet rang in his ear, making him close his ears with great force .
A ringing sounded in his ears as he got out of the tub. He came out of the bathroom with Warut's clothes that were larger than his size, and he stood, gathering the shirt in his hand from the side of his neck, and said:
(Khun...)
But Warut interrupted him again, saying:
(I don't want to hear anything from you except the answer to only two questions that are on my mind. The first is where did you go after you left home?? The second is, what brought you to Saan??)
He did not speak, and his tears began to fall, so Virutt got up and walked towards him, speaking calmly and demanding that he answer his questions, but he noticed that Virutt was taking his steps back in fear.
With every step he took towards Virutt, Virutt was taking several steps back, trembling. Ated's entrance and screaming surprised them, as he supported Virutt behind his back.
(I warn you not to come near, Warut.. I mean it and I am not afraid of you at all)
Ated spoke, even though he now felt like he would die from fear at any moment, but suddenly Virutt grabbed his shoulder, whispering to him.
(Stay away, Ated. I feel dizzy, and if I fall on you, you'll get hurt.)
Virutt closed his eyes and his face turned pale. Warut hurried and moved Ated away from Virutt and grabbed Virutt very quickly. Virutt threw his weight on Warut's body with his head on Warut's shoulder and breathing heavily. Warat quickly supported him and put him on the bed gently, while Prafat quickly called the doctor.
Warut sat trying to lower his body temperature while waiting for the doctor anxiously and his eyes did not leave Virutt and his paleness, the doctor arrived and Ated kicked both brothers out of the room and stayed with Virutt and the doctor.
After the doctor left, Ated stood in front of the door talking to Warut, shouting at him to prevent him from entering and warning him that if he entered, he would kill him with a kitchen knife.
Ated cherishes his friends and has no problem killing someone for his friend. Warut looked at him for a long time, then went downstairs for Pravat to approach him and hug him, patting his hair while speaking.
(It's okay, Ated, it's okay)
Ated raised his head.
(After the problem is solved, I have to apologize to him. Tell him not to come here)
Pravat let him in and left to see his brother. Ated closed the door and turned around, sighing, then raised his head and saw Virutt awake, so he approached him. He sat on the edge of the bed as he saw him staring out the window at the clouds, Ated didn't speak but he noticed Verutt's panic so he patted his head, Verutt spoke amidst his tears
(I swear I didn't go to him)
Ated patted his hair as he said to him
(I know and there's no need to explain)
He tilted his head towards the half-open door to notice Warut approaching and staring at him, his body trembled more and his tears increased so he closed his eyes and turned his body towards Ated and held his hand. Warut stopped and turned and left.
In the evening, Ated brought him food and found him sitting on the bed, covering his ears tightly. He put the food on the table and approached him quickly, trying to calm him down. He was surprised by Virutt's screaming and running towards the window of the room.
His eyes were lost and he lost his focus, and he was afraid. He stared at Ated for a moment and when he regained his focus he sat in his place, Ated helped him sit on the bed and tried to convince him to eat, but he was surprised by Verutt's words as he said
(I can't Ated, my stomach hurts)
And Warot was not better either, he started smoking for the first time, he didn't eat or sleep and he was watching Virutt, at night he had to leave and come back at dawn. Ated was sleeping near Virutt, who never slept.
He saw Pravat entering. He wanted to get up, but Pravat stopped him and sat on the sofa. He was staring at the ceiling and thinking about what Ated had said to him this afternoon, while he was distracted and thinking about it
"Do what you think is right for you, Virutt.. fix yourself and your fear. Take a long vacation and go back to your mother.. stay there for a while."
Virutt spoke, addressing Pravat
(Khun, may I ask you for a favor?)
Pravat remained silent, waiting for Virutt to complete his speech
(I want to submit my resignation. I don't want Khun and Warut to know about it. I am tired and I no longer have the energy or strength. Please Khun. As for the debt that my mother owes, I will work with all my effort to pay it all off)
Pravat looked at him and spoke
(You have that, Virutt.. You have that.. As for the debt on your family, it has been paid in full, and no one will know of your departure.)
Pravat got up and left after closing the door, and Virut sobbed more, causing panic to Ated, who hugged him and patted him on the shoulder. At midnight, Warut returned and entered.
His office, noticing Pravat going up to Virutt's room at five, he was forced to leave due to his father's orders, so he left. Ated gathered Virutt's clothes, who was quiet and frightened by any sudden sound. Ated carried his bag and lowered it, saying to him:
(It's true that you're leaving, but that doesn't mean ignoring my messages and calls).
Virutt smiled at him as he left the house towards the car, but he stopped. Ated approached him, hugged him, and told him that he would visit him with Pravat. He looked at the house, then turned his face and left.
His travel ticket and passport were with him, as were his two bags of belongings. The car arrived at the airport without him noticing, due to his distraction from what had happened two days ago.
He arrived at the airport, presented his ticket, and sat in the waiting room, holding his phone. His trembling increased, as he was afraid that what had happened to him was just a dream and that San was alive and would come to take him.
His limbs were shaking and the sound of the bullet was still ringing in his ear, so he covered it with his hand while crying. Some of the people sitting there wanted to approach him, but a person in a long black coat and black gloves came forward and stood in front of Virutt, stopping them.
He raised his head when he felt that the one standing in front of him was Warut. His body trembled more and he got up to stand. Because of his confusion and lack of focus, he dropped his phone when he heard the last call for the passengers of his plane. He pulled his bag, picked up his phone and ran, but Warut's hand stopped him as it grabbed his arm.
Virutt looked at him with tears covering his cheeks, then looked at the gate, and Warut let go of his hand to run. Warut stayed in his place watching him as he left and all the way on the plane to his home he was crying, he arrived in the afternoon, left the airport and took a taxi towards home.
Warut returned home calmly. Half an hour after leaving, Roy told him that Virutt was preparing to leave and that he had submitted his resignation. The guards turned the car to the house and he got out screaming, calling his name. Ated stopped him and said
(He left)
