An Lin was rushing to the dead zone frantically. He wanted to see who dared to provoke him.

"Do they think I'm too easy to bully, or have I been inactive for so long that others are looking down on me? What kind of nobodies dare to mess with my men?"

"Hurry up," An Lin commanded as he sat on a saber-toothed tiger, a ferocious wild animal he had caught in the forest. It ran very fast, and it had taken him a lot of effort to catch it.

When he squeezed the flesh of the saber-toothed tiger, a pained expression appeared on its face, with human-like fear in its eyes. It then sped up and ran faster.

"Blubru...Blubru..." A private Den Den Mushi rang in An Lin's arms. This snail phone was used for contacting someone, and beside it, there was a slightly smaller white Den Den Mushi to prevent eavesdropping.

"I have something to do right now, I'm busy," An Lin said, trying to control his anger.

"Is there something wrong with the men? Your lord asked me to tell you that the opponent might be a Warlord of the Sea. He just called the naval base, and Vice Admiral Harry was also dispatched. Be careful when you act." The person on the other side spoke coolly and then hung up.

"Warlord of the Sea, Vice Admiral Harry!?" An Lin patted the tiger's head, signaling it to stop running.

An Lin calmed down immediately. If there was only one of them, it wouldn't be a big deal, but if both were involved, the situation was serious.

"Is this a trap set specifically for me? Those damn Warlords of the Sea and the damn navy always ruin my plans." An Lin hesitated. If he went alone, he might be surrounded.

"I'll let you live a little longer until tonight," An Lin decided not to go and to avoid the limelight for the time being.

After he reached an agreement with the "Bounty King" to include the entire wine region on the map, all Warlords of the Sea and Rear Admirals would be dealt with.

"Boss, the navy is coming," Daz Bonez said as he looked at the neatly lined-up navy soldiers approaching, then leaned in front of Rosen.

"Well, but An Lin is too slow. Considering the situation, he should be coming straight for me to settle the score," Rosen frowned and thought. Although it was only through a phone call, Holo's Captain An Lin must be furious.

The name came from Holo's mouth, and Rosen had a feeling that he had finally found what he was looking for.

Rosen was ready to wait, but he didn't expect An Lin alone to be slower than an entire navy team. It had been more than half an hour now.

This shouldn't be the case. The navy needed time to assemble and organize, whereas An Lin alone could provide rapid support.

Could it be that someone from the naval base notified him when he called?

It seemed that the possibility could not be completely ruled out. He didn't know anyone in the navy, nor was he a character in the original plot, so there was no way to judge.

If there was collusion between the navy and the pirates, it was indeed possible! Otherwise, it was difficult to explain why An Lin, who was supposed to be there, did not come.

"Your Excellency Warlord of the Sea, I am Rear Admiral Harry of the naval headquarters. Is this the child you rescued?"

Rear Admiral Harry looked at the disabled children who lacked hands and feet, and his expression was extremely grim. He had occasionally received reports of missing children before.

But he always thought that such cases were too insignificant compared to the vicious incidents of pirates looting and killing, so there was no in-depth investigation. Now, looking at these dozens of children, he was deeply aware of his dereliction of duty.

He was also a navy officer with a family, although they all stayed in a very safe naval headquarters military town.

But he couldn't imagine if his child was tortured and became a tool for others to make money. He wouldn't go crazy, but he would definitely bring the perpetrator to justice at all costs.

"Major, lead the troops to turn the entire dead zone upside down. Any criminals who resist can be dealt with immediately. The intelligence agents should continue to check to see if there are any other children on the streets," Rear Admiral Harry ordered an accompanying major.

"Your captain hasn't come yet?!" Rosen stepped on Holo's head, his face darkening. He felt that some conspiracy was approaching him.

"I'm from the Bastion Pirates. You can't kill me, otherwise... No, please let me go. I will never do these things again. I will be a good person in the future, please..." Holo suddenly realized that his threat was weak and desperate, but his strong desire to survive made him try every way to beg for mercy.

Why hadn't his captain come to save him? After all the things he had done and all the money he earned every month, was it all useless? How could the captain abandon him? Damn bastard...

"It's done," Rosen said to Daz Bonez and walked towards Rear Admiral Harry.

Hearing the screams behind him, Rosen was indifferent. The more darkness he saw in this era, the colder his heart became. Some people shouldn't live in this world as human beings.

Rear Admiral Harry frowned and looked at Holo, who had been stabbed in the heart by Daz Bonez, feeling very disgusted.

Even though Holo was a criminal, he should have been handed over to the navy for trial. This approach showed a blatant disregard for the navy.

So, even if they were nominally allied, Rear Admiral Harry had no good feelings towards Crocodile, the Warlord of the Sea. If it weren't for the need to destroy the criminal group, he wouldn't have wanted to deal with him at all.

But things weren't looking good. Now, Rosen didn't trust this navy officer anymore, suspecting he might be in league with the pirates and possibly working against him.

"Take the children and take care of them. At the same time, look up the missing persons' files, compare them, and prepare to notify the families," Rear Admiral Harry ordered reasonably and sensibly.

However, the children were not happy to see the navy. They were even scared because, in their memories, every child who had contact with the navy had disappeared and been dealt with by Holo.

This kind of fear that stems from long-term oppression is not so easy to eliminate.

"I... I don't want to go with them," the little girl who had first sold Rosen wine said, dragging her steps back with difficulty.

Rear Admiral Harry saw this and was slightly taken aback. How could this happen? No, they represented the navy of light and justice. The little girl's reaction made Rear Admiral Harry feel a little bitter.

"Hold on." Seeing this, Rosen was even more puzzled and stopped.

"What's the matter?" Rear Admiral Harry looked at the world-famous Warlord of the Sea, suddenly puzzled.

It could be said that this matter was completely resolved by Crocodile. The navy's trip was straightforward; they were here to help with the aftermath.

"This group of children can't be handed over to you for the time being," Rosen decided after thinking it over. Until the matter was clear, he couldn't give these children to the navy, which might be colluding with the pirates.

Hearing this, Harry's face suddenly became grim, and he placed his hand on the long sword at his waist. "What do you mean by this? Although you are a Warlord of the Sea, this is the jurisdiction of our navy. I advise you not to have any crooked ideas."

Facing the Warlord of the Sea, Harry did not retreat. Behind him stood the entire naval headquarters, and he would never hand over these children to a Warlord of the Sea, even if he had saved them out of good intentions.

But now his attitude had changed temporarily.

And these children would not be used again. What did Crocodile mean?

"I suspect that there are spies in your navy. Someone informed An Lin of the Bastion Pirates," Rosen directly expressed his concerns.

"Even if you are a Warlord of the Sea, you can't insult our navy, Crocodile!" Harry didn't have a good impression of this Warlord of the Sea to begin with, and hearing this, he immediately drew his sword.

The same was true for the other navy soldiers. Their swords were unsheathed, and their guns were raised.

"Do you want to fight?" Daz Bonez asked what Crocodile meant.

For a moment, the atmosphere was tense, and the two parties, who had no sense of trust, were ready to turn against each other at the slightest provocation.
