The next day, Amber and the others rested and prepared to leave. They cleared out all the treasures the Dragon Pirates had collected over the years, totaling nearly 100 million Beli. This amount revealed the extent of the Arlong Pirates' crimes.

Amber and the group kept 10 million Beli and returned the rest to the villagers, as the Arlong Pirates had stolen it from them.

"No, the Marines have arrived!"

A villager ran over, shouting in panic. The villagers' faces changed drastically, and Nami's expression shifted as well. She had a clear understanding of the Marines. During the Arlong Pirates' rule, some villagers secretly went to report to the nearby Marine base, but all efforts failed. The next day, the Arlong Pirates' fishman cadre would hold up the informant by the neck in front of the villagers and kill them.

"Why are they so panicked when the Marines come?" Zoro asked, puzzled.

"Do you think the Pirates stayed here so long without Marine intervention? Why didn't the Marines come to capture them?" Amber said disdainfully.

"Ha! The Marines aren't clean either!" Zoro quickly understood. Ordinary pirates are difficult to capture because they move from village to village. But the Arlong Pirates, with the highest bounty in the East Blue, stayed in one place without Marine intervention. The only explanation was collusion with the Marines.

"They've never been clean, and the world government is even filthier."

The villagers looked to Amber and Zoro for guidance.

"What should we do now?" Nami asked Amber helplessly.

"Let's see what these Marines want first," Amber replied calmly.

"Get out of the way and hand over the prisoner, 'Little Thieving Cat,' quickly," a Marine officer, resembling a mouse, ordered, pointing weapons at the villagers.

"What do you want? Why didn't you show up when the Dragon Pirates oppressed us? Now that they're defeated, you come here. What do you want?" Nezumi shouted at the Marines.

"Hehehe, we have evidence that 'Little Thieving Cat' Nami joined the Arlong Pirates and stole the villagers' treasures. Hand her over, and we will deliver justice," Colonel Mouse said, smiling wickedly.

"We will never hand over Nami."

"Everyone knows you Marines colluded with the Pirates. You're just here for the treasure," the villagers shouted, exposing the Marines' evil deeds.

"You unruly people dare to insult the great Marine, shoot them," Colonel Mouse ordered angrily.

"Sir, this isn't right. We can't shoot civilians," the deputy protested.

"Bang!" Colonel Mouse shot the deputy in the chest.

"Why, sir?" the deputy asked, eyes closing.

"Who else dares to disobey my order?" Colonel Mouse challenged. The other Marines stepped back in fear.

"Now, raise your guns."

"Crash!" The Marines pointed their guns at the villagers.

"Stop!" Nami arrived, shouting at the Marines.

"Aren't you just here for the Pirates' treasure? I'll give it to you, then leave this village immediately."

"Hey, little cat Nami, a leader of the arlong Pirates. Now that they're defeated, you're the last one. If you escape, I can't report to my superiors!" Colonel Mouse sneered.

"Why? Isn't Marine supposed to protect civilians?" Nami yelled.

"Yes, by arresting you, a pirate, we protect civilians!"

"It's disgusting!" Amber and Zoro emerged from the crowd.

"You killed the Arlong Pirates, but if you insult Marine, I'll arrest you," Colonel Mouse threatened.

Amber instantly appeared before Colonel Mouse, slapping him hard and breaking his jaw. Everyone was shocked.

Colonel Mouse, bleeding, pointed at Amber.

"Shoot him, he's dangerous."

"Bang! Bang! Bang!" The Marines' bullets passed through Amber's body.

"Devil Fruit!" Colonel Mouse gasped.

Amber wouldn't let the Marines go. His creed was, "I won't offend unless offended, but if offended, I'll kill."

"Thunder Chidori!" Amber flashed through the Marines, killing them.

"Ah! Help! Don't come near!"

In just 10 seconds, all the Marines were dead. Amber looked at the last living Marine, Colonel Mouse.

"Don't come near. Attacking Marine is a crime. You'll be hunted," Colonel Mouse trembled.

"You're still threatening me? Can someone like you change? You can't. You can only die." Amber electrocuted Colonel Mouse to ashes.

Amber smiled at Zoro. "Looks like we're going to be pirates!"

"It doesn't matter, I would have killed him if you hadn't," Zoro replied coldly.

After the battle, Amber and Zoro prepared to leave. The villagers came to see them off.

"Blame it all on us to avoid Marine retribution. I don't care weather i am pirate or not anyway," Amber said.

"Your kindness will never be forgotten by Cocoyasi Village," citizen bowed deeply.

"It's okay," Amber shrugged.

"Zoro, let's go."

"Understood, Captain!"

They operated the boat together.

"Goodbye!"

"Have a nice trip!"

The villagers offered sincere blessings.

"Captain, are you waiting for that woman?" Zoro asked.

"Nami told us to leave first, she'll join us later." Amber remembered Nami's nickname "Little Thieving Cat" and knew what she was up to.

Soon, curses erupted from the shore.

"You thief!"

"Give me my wallet back!"

"Don't run away, little bastard!"

There was joy in these scoldings.

"Nami, take care!"

"Nami, thank you!"

These were goodbyes.

"Set the boat!" Nami, holding more than a dozen wallets, jumped on board.

Amber held Nami's hand firmly and shouted, "Let's set sail!"
