Amber's group quickly arrived at Doctor Kureha's place.

They encountered a reindeer making medicine outside the door, who didn't seem to notice their arrival.

"Hello, Chopper," Amber greeted.

"Ah! Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Chopper was startled and asked them in a panicked but wary manner.

"We're pirates, and we're looking for a doctor with great medical skills," Amber responded with a smile, trying to appear harmless.

"Pirates!" When Chopper heard the word, his eyes suddenly lit up with excitement.

But he quickly calmed down and asked, "Is any of you sick or injured?"

"No, we're looking for a ship's doctor as a partner. Chopper, are you a doctor? Do you want to join us on our ship?" Amber smiled and invited Chopper.

"I don't know you. Why should I agree?" Chopper seemed a little moved. He still yearned to join pirates, but his past experiences with humans made him cautious.

"Captain, how can anyone invite someone else when they first meet!" Nami complained.

"Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Nami, that's Zoro over there, and this is our captain, Amber." Nami turned and smiled, extending her hand to Chopper.

"My name is Tony Tony Chopper," Chopper hesitated but, seeing Nami's clear and friendly eyes, shook her hand.

"Do you have your own pirate ship?" Chopper asked curiously.

"Of course, it's called Thunder," Nami replied with a chuckle.

Nami and Chopper chatted, mostly with Chopper asking about sea adventures. Nami replied, as girls often bond easily with small animals.

"Chopper, are there any guests outside?" An old woman with white hair and a bottle of wine came out. She was Doctor Kureha, who taught Chopper medical skills.

"Doctor Kureha, these three are pirates, and they said they came to see the doctor," Chopper explained.

"Hello, madam," Amber greeted her elegantly. Amber knew this elderly woman, who was over 130 years old, cared very much about her age. Being called "old lady" or "grandma" would anger her, so he opted for "madam."

"Madam? Haha, this young man knows how to talk," Doctor Kureha touched her face and laughed.

"Amber, what are you talking about? She's obviously an old lady!" Zoro interjected.

With a "bang" sound, he was kicked away.

"What nonsense! I'm only over 130 years old, still a young girl!"

"You hateful old woman..." Zoro muttered, half of his head stuck in the snow.

. . . . . .

Doctor Kureha graciously invited Amber and the others into the house, while Chopper continued his work outside.

"Pirates? What's your real purpose here?" Doctor Kureha asked casually, sipping her wine.

With her 130-year-old experience, she could see that Amber and his crew were not the kind of pirates who bullied others but were adventurers who pursued freedom.

"Our purpose is to find a ship doctor. People in the village said the best doctor lives here, so we came to see," Amber explained with a smile.

"Chopper seems like a very good doctor! I wanted to invite him to join us, but he refused. He seems wary of humans!"

"Oh, you noticed?" Doctor Kureha took a sip of wine and replied.

"This child has been deeply hurt. If you want to invite him, ordinary methods won't work!"

Doctor Kureha slowly told the story of Chopper and Doctor Hiriluk.

. . . . . .

"Chopper is so pitiful!" Nami looked at Chopper, who was busy outside the window, and felt heartbroken.

"I've decided to make Chopper our partner," Amber said firmly after hearing Chopper's story.

"Chopper, do you want to go on an adventure with us? There are many fun things and adventures at sea," Amber said, sitting on a rock outside and extending another invitation to Chopper.

"I can't!" Chopper shook his head desperately as if something had triggered him.

"Why?"

"I'm a reindeer! And I have a blue nose. How can I be a companion to humans?" Chopper said excitedly, pointing to his blue nose.

Humans had hurt him too much over the years. He was expelled by his herd after eating the Human-Human Fruit and was attacked again when he tried to find a human companion.

"But I think you're very cute, Chopper! My companions and I welcome you."

"Wha, what! Even if you praise me for being cute, I won't be happy," Chopper twisted his body, looking happy but insisting he wasn't.

Amber tried her best to persuade Chopper, who was so confused he almost agreed.

. . . . . .

"Let me think about it!" Although Chopper wanted to agree, his past experiences prevented him from doing so immediately.

"Chopper, do you remember Wapol?" Amber suddenly changed the subject. Ordinary persuasion wouldn't work, so Amber decided to take drastic measures.

"That guy!" Chopper's face suddenly turned fierce.

That bastard, Wapol, was responsible for Doctor Hiriluk's miserable death.

"Medical skills alone can't save this country, Chopper, you know that."

"Yeah!" Chopper nodded silently.

After Doctor Hiriluk's death, Chopper vowed to become a doctor and develop a panacea to cure all diseases, but medical skills alone couldn't save a country.

"Chopper, we're going to defeat Wapol. Do you want to come with us?" Amber asked.

"Defeat Wapol?" Chopper looked at Amber in surprise.

"We're very strong. Come with us, Chopper," Nami said with a smile.

"I can handle him by myself," Zoro leaned against the door, a slight smile on his face.

"Use our power to save this country!" Amber extended his hand to Chopper.

"Yeah!" Chopper put his hand on Amber's, moved.
