Working New Magic

I felt a strange energy surround my body and come to my aid as I called it to me. My body felt alive. I didn't focus on an idea of what I wanted. I called to elements.

Max took a few steps back as I took aim at an empty spoke a the ground shook a little as a pillar of ground shot up in the empty spot.

"Alpha. Are you alright?" Max asked with real concern layered in his voice.

I focused on the pillar of ground before I squeezed the trigger and an explosion of white fire glow of blue flames corkscrewed out of the nose of my revolver striking the pillar. I put down my revolver as a few young boys came up beside us.

I stared at the pillar silently until a glowing blue target appeared in the center of the pillar. I smiled and nodded my thanks to the earth elements for helping me. "That should do it." I said.

"That should do what Alpha?" Max asked.
